• Cheryl Anne (5/5): Nice place, but definitely not a hands on host - The apartment was modern and nicely furnished. The double-glazed windows reduced noise from the street. You are in the historic area, but it was not noisy at night, so we slept well. Good water pressure in the showers and beds were comfortable. Very close to restaurants, cafés, attractions and shopping. We were told someone would meet us at the location, no one showed. It was only with the help of a store owner across the street that she was able to get in touch with the caretaker of the host and we were given the codes to access. A process that took close to 1.5 hours, after a day of 18 hours of travel, the last thing we expected to have to do. There is no microwave, very inconvenient, but there is an oven should you wish to cook a roast or a turkey..... There were zero cleaning products (we stayed for 34 nights); no dishwasher tabs, no toilet bowl cleaner, no washing machine tabs. No vacuum, broom or mop to keep the place tidy. The satellite television was out regularly, almost every day, sometimes for only a few minutes, other times until the next day. Contacted the host via booking.com, never heard back.

• Helen (10/5): A wonderful place to stay . - What a fantastic place to stay . Great location within minutes walk of the cathedral and all other shopping and restaurant areas . The apartment (2nd floor one ) was very well and expensively furnished - I understand all apartments are furnished exactly the same - and very well maintained . There is everything supplied you can possibly need . The apartment has a great private roof terrace with table and chairs and sun loungers .The street was very quiet and barely and noise - the bedrooms are situated at the back away from the street so extremely quiet . I will definitely be booking this apartment again . Vic , the host was very helpful and great to deal with . Not a criticism but you should be aware that they require a €300 euro cash deposit on arrival which is returned on the I day of leaving . I understand this given the high quality do the apartment but I did not recall this mentioned anywhere in the booking and we just happened to have it in cash - otherwise you would need to go to a cash and machine which is just in the square a minute walk away . I feel this should be pointed out more obviously on booking.
