• ΧΑΡΙΤΙΝΗ (5/5): - We really liked the location of the accommodation, as it was very close to a station and getting around was easy and convenient. What we did not like was that the doors and windows of the apartment were quite old, and the walls were very thin. As a result, the owner called and messaged us regarding quiet hours after 10:00 PM, because we usually returned to the apartment after 9:00 PM and spoke normally among ourselves. It seemed that conversations could easily be heard by the other residents, which made us feel uncomfortable and forced us to speak very quietly inside the apartment. In addition, during the first days only one radiator was working, and we could not understand why the apartment was so cold. We had to wear jackets indoors. The heating is centrally controlled and, according to the owner, set to 22°C, however even after all the radiators were turned on, the apartment still did not feel warm enough. The windows were also quite old. Although they closed properly, cold air was still coming through them, most likely because of their age. In addition, the locking mechanism was very small and outdated, which did not make us feel particularly secure. The apartment itself appeared renovated, but the doors, windows, apartment entrance, and elevator overall gave the feeling of being in a very old building, almost like a property from the 1960s. There was also a very small balcony where smoking was not allowed, even though it was an outdoor area. Additionally, the balcony faced the garbage bin area, so it was not particularly useful. It would also be helpful to provide clearer information regarding the building rules. For example, we were not aware that smoking was not allowed in the entrance hall, as there was no visible sign or prior information about this. As a result, there was an uncomfortable interaction with a resident of the building until we understood what was being explained to us. We believe it would be helpful if this information were communicated in advance or clearly displayed in the common areas.

• Karen (10/5): Great location, excellent hosts and all the things you need for a comfortable stay away from home. - Great location all things you need close by, supermarket down the road, and an easy walk to the Ferry if you want to visit nearby islands. The apartment was very well appointed, great kitchen with all the utensils you could need and the hosts even had the basics on hand so you could arrive and not have to run to the shops straight away. Definitely would stay there again.
• Anja (9/5): Tolle Wohnung in wunderbarer Lage, perfekt für 4 - Perfekte Lage zwischen Innenstadt und Wohnviertel mit 2 Tram-Linien in unmittelbarer Nähe, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung, super Aufteilung und Ausstattung, Basics wie Tee und Müsli waren schon vorhanden, gemütliche Betten, sehr ruhig (allerdings war Weihnachten), Aufzug, sehr schöner Altbau. Die Spülmaschine war kaputt, aber das ist nur ein Mini-Minuspunkt und die Gastgeber haben sich sehr entschuldigt.

• petr (9/5): Nice aparment in nice area - Very cozy apartement close to central part of Helsinky, with very good equipment and basic product for cooking - oil, salt pepper and SHARP KNIVES it is a rarity in rented apartments. 👍👨‍🍳 The sofa is a bit sagged, so sleeping on it isn’t very comfortable

• Hemmi (9/5): - Hyvä sijainti, lähellä julkinen liikenne, puistot ulkoiluun koiran kanssa. Asunnossa kaikki tarvittavat varusteet viihtyisään vierailuun. Kylpyhuone/WC aika ahdas.

• Hanne (9/5): Skønt ophold i skønne omgivelser også udenfor lejligheden🌳😀 - Der var de ting vi skulle bruge til at opholde os i en uge i den dejlige lejlighed. Så vi har ikke noget at klage over. Jeg ønsker mig lidt man kunne tænde for en aircon, men vi løste det jo selv ved at åbne vinduerne, så der kom lidt luft ind når det var så varmt. Men dejligt det var sommer med sol den uge vi var der🌞😎 Ellers var der ikke noget at klage over.

• Verners (10/5): Everything was great. - A wonderful and clean apartment equipped with everything you need. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking, including essentials like oil and spices. The location is excellent—just a few hundred meters away is a pedestrian street with cafes, small shops, and a grocery store. The living room offers a fantastic view of St. John's Church through the window. A tram to the city center stops almost right at the doorstep. The city center is just a few tram stops away, but it’s also easily reachable on foot with a pleasant walk. We visited Helsinki in winter when it was snowy—right across from the apartment, there was a small slope where children could sled, and an ice rink nearby. The apartment hosts were kind and welcoming, and communication with them was prompt and efficient. The apartment is perfectly suited for a family with children. Nothing.
