Guest Reviews
- Natalie (10/5): Thank you Allexa for a lovely stay at Green Cabin - Had everything we needed for an offline break,
Good facilities for cooking, a lovely fireplace and some board games and books to read. Bed was very comfortable and a welcoming place for us. Very happy with the property and no fuss to get there with 2WD despite the moderate rain we had.
- Natasja (9/5): -
- Eric (8/5): - The location and the ambience. The property is in need of a small amount of maintenance, a lick of paint here and there etc.
- Needra (10/5): -
- Julie (8/5): - Localisation exceptionnelle ! Maisonnette isolée, entourée de verdure, au calme.
Un logement authentique, au charme fou.
Un vrai voyage dans le temps. La maisonnette mériterait un bon ménage (rideaux sales, toiles d’araignées, vaisselle peu propre, BBQ sale, etc)
- Jonathan (10/5): Fabulous - The perfect cottage n an amazing location.will be hard pressed to find somewhere to top it.
- Nina (9/5): Perfect relaxing getaway - The property was absolutely wonderful, what a stunning location. It had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway, we especially loved playing board games by the fire. Alexa was super helpful and answered any questions I had, we can’t wait to come back.
- Tracey (10/5): Our stay was so perfect. The cottage was cosy & comfy with everything you need.Being surrounded by trees and forest - The peace and quiet and the beautiful view from the verandah Love all of it!
- Emma (10/5): Delightful quiet place to relax - We loved meeting Ruben and the view was absolutely stunning. The dress ups was fantastic idea. By the way mattress didn’t hurt my back(I have scoliosis)never been on a better mattress . Having a fridge and oven was really fantastic when wanting to make own food and not have another restaurant meal. Freedom from chips and nuggets for my daughter! The complementary honey was soooooo tasty definitely will come back for more There was completely no reason not to love it
- Yvonne (10/5): - The cabin was cozy, clean and had beautiful relaxing views of the surrounding farm and trees. We enjoyed our stay there particularly without internet and TV - we had a beautiful time playing games, reading and writing. N/A
- Keirl (10/5): - The isolation and the beautiful cabin.
- Phil (10/5): Peaceful. Tranquil escape from hustle and bustle. Bliss - Absolute gem of a place. Little slice of rustic paradise. Warmly welcomed by Reuben our lovely canine host. Such a cosy spot.. only regret is we only had 2 nights.. could definitely have stayed longer.
- Grant Perry (9/5): Peaceful stay - It was very peaceful and quiet and not to far away from Pemberton central, The place had a cosy feel to it and very relaxed vibe, Also had adequate facilities. There was actually nothing I didn't like it was a wonderful stay.
- Rachael (10/5): - Beautiful setting with everything you could possibly need for a cozy getaway. The forest and farm are a spectacular backdrop for the cabin.
- Bec (8/5): Perfect weekend getaway - Nice spot out of the way with lots of privacy. It’s on a honey farm and you have to go buy some next door, it’s just wonderful!! Was great for a weekend getaway to disconnect. There is no TV but we liked that, lots of time to spend in books! We never got to meet Ruben the dog, we did however get to meet Tungsten the cat!!
- Megan (10/5): This place just hits different! Loved it, and can’t wait to book our next visit! - It was very cozy, and in the forrest the view was amazing. Everything! We would’ve loved to stay an extra day
- Linley (8/5): - The location is very special, right in the Forrest and like stepping back in time. Loved sending kids out to chop and collect wood for the fire. Very nice bed linen, we appreciated the electric blankets and we enjoyed playing games as a family instead of watching TV. The area inside the shower was too small
- Chelsea (10/5): Exceptional -
- Angela (9/5): A quaint cabin in paradise ✨️ - Everything!
A cosy little cabin in the woods with sheep at your doorstep, firewood provided to keep warm, bees buzzing making their delectable honeys and a kindred soul Reuben doggie, who visited to bring joy 😊 Alas, leaving the peace and quiet of the Green Cabin 💚
- Eve.tormey (10/5): Cosy Comfort Cabin - The cabin was simply beautiful, quiet, scenic location. Magical views. All amenities were fine. Clear instructions and communication. None
- Franich (10/5): Exceptional - Very rustic, cute cabin in a beautiful rural setting, we adored it but not everyone's cup of tea!!
- Stacey (9/5): Superb - The calm The lack of wifi, but that may have been me
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janine (9/5): Superb -
- Judith (9/5): Cosy green cottage is exactly as described. Lovely stay. - A beautiful, rustic original cottage in a gorgeous setting. Lots of walks amongst the trees, games on the veranda, sitting around looking at the views and yoga under the sound of the wind through the trees. Comfy beds. Had everything we needed and we loved the honey (thank you). The hosts had taken the care to add personal touches and information needed / contacts set out clearly and we'd have known where to get support if needed. It was lovely to disconnect and return to nature. Nothing -everything was exactly as described in the information.
- Belinda (9/5): Simply incredible - a wonderful retreat… -
- Eva (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joseph (8/5): Very good -
- Gray (9/5): Superb -
- Terri (10/5): Exceptional - Everything about this place made my soul happy. All the small touches, the character of the old style and view was just "omg"!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and only wished it had been longer. Do yourself a favour and book this place!
- Allyson (10/5): Exceptional - Serenity and location were what made this an ideal place to chill and relax. Rueben visiting in wee hours of the morning and crying to get in because it was raining.
- Jasmin (9/5): Gorgeous little cabin in a beautiful location! -
- Tim (10/5): Nice to be alone. - Great off the track location with terrific views.
- Sarah (10/5): Absolute Bliss! - Oh my lord this is just what my soul needed. The perfect little country getaway. I loved everything about this place. Allexa had thought of every single detail. I was lighting the fire and thought how great to have some fire lighters and what do you know, a big tub was up on the bookshelf. I loved the little touches and condiments and extra things that aren’t normally supplied. I felt cosy and comfortable and switched off from the outside world. An absolute joy this place is! NA
- Ellie (10/5): Loved staying here! Super cozy and well equipped :) - Rueben the dog Nothing!
- Daniel (9/5): Superb - Amazing peaceful farm location on the edge of giant forest. So much character in the old cottage, of course with the accompanying rustic setting/facilities. Our small kids loved the stay, kids games and dog Ruben that came to visit
- Chamberlain (10/5): Quiet, peaceful and totally relaxing - Loved absolutely everything - such a special place. Especially loved our body guard pup who hung out with us. There was a great dvd collection but no dvd player.
- Bree (10/5): Cute cozy house surrounded by trees. Sipping wine and eating a platter on the patio each evening was divine. The perfect - A rustic escape from everyone, surrounded by trees and a view you could watch all day
- Geoff (10/5): Wonderful tranquil calming stay in a historical old farm building. - The location is idyllic. Very quiet and calming. A great respite for jaded city folk or someone just wanting a tree change. The only thing that could have been better is that we had longer to stay there (due to our time restrictions).
- Alan (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location, it was exactly as advertised!!!
- Tracey (10/5): Piece of history - Gorgeous, quaint cottage. Real step back in time. Was hoping for no phone reception to be able to totally disconnect for a week. Unfortuntatly the phone reception is good.
- Morgan (10/5): Magical, cosy, romantic retreat in the forrest. - We absolutely loved everythng about it, it really felt like we had the place to ourselves. The cottage was so cosy and welcoming and had everything you need for a romantic weekend away. The views are outstanding and the hosts were so helpful giving us space while keeping in touch via messages to ensure we had everything we needed. It really was perfect. 10/10 would highly recommend. Honestly there wasn't really anything we didn't like other than having to leave. Perhaps the only thing i found tricky was not being able to lock the doors on the cabin a night, but really there was no need where we were as it was so safe.
- Sophia (7/5): Rustic and basic accomodation which was good for a short stay to experience the Farmstay. - It was rustic and provided a country farm stay experience. The doors didn’t close properly and the outside tap leaked. Maybe I missed the details when booking about having to strip all the bed linen including the doona cover which was a little unexpected.
- Zainah (8/5): Very good -
- Diana (6/5): Disappointing and expensive - Wonderful location The wood heater was not able to be used so we were very cold. The electric one provided was totally inadequate. Our bed was very comfortable but the electric blanket control one side had been tucked right under neath the mattress so not found until we stripped the bed when leaving We were also disappointed not to meet our hosts as gaining local knowledge would have been good. Also we keep bees ourselves and it would have been interesting to discuss the industry
- Sarah (8/5): Beautiful, charming, cute, cosy little cabin, surrounded by the woods and the sounds of birds singing. - cosy little cabin in the Woods, serenity, peaceful and calming. coffee grinder didn’t grind well enough
- Moose56 (9/5): Superb - A bit of Australian pioneer history relived, basic, functional We're still unhappy having no contact with the hosts, especially in this country context...
