• Antonio (9/5): Great location and lovely host - A wonderful experience! We loved the convenience of the Gloucester Road area. The apartment was spotless and very family-friendly. A huge thank you to our host for being so helpful—everything was perfect! The only downsides were the stairs and the basement location, which made it a bit inconvenient since we had strollers. However, this didn't negatively impact our overall experience, which remained very positive

• Konstantinos Georgios (9/5): - It is clean spacious and right next to the tube station in a Avery nice neighbourhood. It is located at the basement level and it is quite noisy from the street.
• Nellie (8/5): It was overall an enjoyable stay with easy access to necessities and great connectivity! - Hosts were responsive and helpful. Place was clean and there were different streaming/on demand entertainment services available. Location is Superb! Heating element in the bathroom was not working so it was always freezing after showering. Also, the toilet would be more efficient if there were hooks or racks to place towels, facial products, toothpaste/brushes, etc. While the location of the apartment is convenient but the fact that it was a basement unit right by the underground station meant that the unit felt a little exposed and could get a bit noisy at night with passerby speaking loudly or laughing heartily.
• Katie (9/5): Incredible location in gorgeous South Kensington! - The apartment is in an incredible location with loads of pubs, restaurants, grocery stores and attractions like Hyde Park and the Natural History Museum so close by. There is also a subway less than 2 minute walk away. The location really is fabulous and the apartment is beautifully decorated and was the perfect size for a family of 4. The only thing is that the apartment is located in a basement so you walk down stairs to access it so there is very limited natural light which is important to me.

God og nem dialog med værter Tæt på indkøb og metro Vi fik lov at efterlade bagage et par timer efter check ud. Det var en stor hjælp Varmt om sommeren uden aircon En del støj fra gaden om natten ( biler og forbipasserende) Prisen er høj for overnatning

• Walter (10/5): Einfach ein rundum perfekter Aufenthalt - Die Unterkunft was sehr gemütlich und die Gastgeber absolut freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich stets über alle möglichen Schritte (CheckIn, CheckOut, etc.) bestens informiert - mit Fotos des Gebäudes der Tür dem Schlüsseltresor usw. Außerdem wurde regelmäßig nachgefragt ob alles passt oder wie die Gastgeber den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gestalten können. Hier kann ich nichts schreiben, da der Aufenthalt rundum perfekt war - wie oben schon genannt war die Lage, die Gastgeber die Unterkunft mehr als nur zufriedenstellend.

Excellent communication with hosts and problems easily resolved. It’s a really busy corner, and is very noisy. Take ear plugs ! The narrow metal stair down and tiled passage was also difficult in wet weather.

• António Oliveira (9/5): Muito agradável, ótimas condições e de fácil acesso aos transportes. - A localização era muito boa (50 metros de Gloucester Road Station e de paragem de bus). A disponibilidade e atenção dispensadas pelos proprietários foram ótimas (retiraram todas as dúvidas e deram-me segurança). O apartamento fica na "cave", embora com janelas inteiras para o exterior. Pouca insonorização: o barulho do exterior ouve-se bastante.

• Ute (8/5): Perfekt gelegene, grundsätzlich gut ausgestattete Wohnung, leider im Souterrain - Die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt. Sehr zentral um die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erreichen. Nah an der U-Bahn, gutes, sicheres Viertel, Supermarkt nebenan. Laufnähe zu Kensington Park/Palace, Royal Albert Hall und naturhistorischem Museum. Auch spätabends auf der Straße zu sein fühle sich sicher an. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, wenn auch zunehmend „verlebt“ (siehe unten). Schön war vor allem die Ausstattung der Küche und dass ein Wasch-Trockner vorhanden war. Der (wegen defektem WLAN und durch die Vormieter beschädigte Toilette) notwendige Kontakt zu den Vermietern war sehr freundlich und kooperativ und schnell erreichbar. Schön war, dass wir unser Gepäck bei An- und Abreise früher bzw. länger abstellen konnten. Mir war bei Buchung nicht klar, dass die Wohnung im Souterrain liegt. Das wurde in booking.com nicht beschrieben oder ich habe es überlesen (anhand der Fotos mit Zoom auf die Fenster hätte man es erkennen können). Das empfanden wir als irritierend:unangenehm/unsicher, aber wie gesagt, dass mag mein Versäumnis gewesen sein. Die Wohnungstür (die ja direkt von der Straße zugänglich war, also keine Haustür davor) lies sich von außen nur mit einem einfachen Schloss abschließen, wäre ohne Probleme aufzubrechen. Die von außen zugänglichen Fenster waren nur unter Mühen mit dem veralteten„Hochschiebeschutz“ zu sichern. Nachts (tagsüber schon gar nicht) ein Fenster zum Lüften aufzulassen trauten wir uns nicht. Die Wohnung war durch die Lage zur Straße und Bürgersteig sehr laut und obendrüber ist ein Laden - Langschläfer an Werktagen müssen also mit entsprechenden zusätzlichen Geräuschen von oben rechnen. Der Zugang zur Wohnung war tendenziell dreckig (Passanten warfen ihren Abfall hinunter), bei Nacht nicht voll beleuchtet und bei Regen stand das Wasser in diesem Bereich und es gab keine Fußmatte oder Ähnliches um den Eingang der Wohnung nicht zu verdrecken. Die Lüftung im Bad funktionierte nicht und durch die Geometrie der Wohnung war ein Lüften schwierig (außerdem nervten wie gesagt die nach Öffnung schwer verschließbaren Fenster). Ich bin nicht sicher (wir mussten wetterbedingt weder heizen noch kühlen), aber aufgrund der in den Schränken vorhandenen Ventilatoren und Heizöfen vermute ich, dass das eher umständlich würde. Das WLAN funktionierte im hinteren Zimmer nicht (die Vermieter versuchten sehr hilfsbereit Abhilfe zu schaffen, aber das gelang nicht).

• Mohit (9/5): - The amenities in the apartment. All the kitchen appliances and other arrangements were thoughtfully done. Washing machine & dishwasher pods & all the required items were available. Cleanliness was excellent although outside the apartment, it required a little more attention. The location was excellent, walking distance from Gloucester Tube station, Natural History Museum & Imperial College London. Nothing significant as such.

• Eva (10/5): Excellent location and very well equipped - Estava molt nét, ben decorat, tot estava ben conservat i molt ben equipat. Només ens va faltar l adaptador d electricitat. Molt bona ubicació: al costat de l estació de metro, supermercats i fast foods; força aprop dels llocs importants i del Hyde Park. Hem estat molt bé. Però al ser un subsòl, per les nits s escoltava el soroll dels cotxes i fins a certa hora de la nit les persones que passaven. Al menjador, on dormia el meu fill al sofà-llit, faltava una cortineta a la porta d entrada, ja que entrava molta llum de l enllumenat a la nit o el sol al matí que dificultava dormir.
• Torsten (7/5): Sehr guter Ort für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Sehr Zentral gelegen und man kommt in windeseile von A-B - Die Lage war sehr gut. Die nächste Subway war nur wenige Meter entfernt. Ebenso waren Ringsum ein Supermarkt, Restaurants und Pubs. Die Wohnung war für drei Nächte. 2 Erwachsene, drei Kinder 12 - 17 und ein Hund. Dafür waren die Betten und das Schlafsofa vollkommen okay. Ob man so eine längere Zeit erholsam schlagen kann vermute ich nicht. Das Bad war völlig ausreichend von der Größe. Die Küche haben wir bis auf die Frühstückszubereitung nicht genutzt. Sie ist aber sehr gut ausgestattet und es alles da. Besonders gut ist, dass direkt vor Wohnung eine Haltebucht für maximal 20 Minuten Lade - Endladezeit ist. Das hat vollkommen gereicht und die Bucht war auch nicht besetzt. Es war sehr warm in der Wohnung, was natürlich an der Außentemperatur von knapp 30°C lag. Ein Schlafraum lässt sich gut lüften, der andere Schlafraum und der Eingangs- Schlafsofabereich eher schlecht. Es standen von uns nicht genutzte Ventilatoren im Schrank.

• Umairah (8/5): Overall it was a great stay for a large group, as we enjoyed the convenience. Will definitely recommend to others, howev - We stayed at this apartment as a group of 6. We enjoyed this apartment as it was very close to shops & underground station (~2mins walk). It was also 2-3mins walk to grocery stores like waitrose & tesco, restaurants- wing stop, burgerking, coffee shops etc. It was also a well-lit area & we felt safe throughout the stay. Amenities were sufficient- dryer/washer, kitchen, tv, wifi and rooms/kitchen/living area were all very clean. Owner was very responsive, and actively messaged us regarding our stay ! However, since apartment is at basement level , the corridor/alleyway may get dark at night. Additionally, the space outside the apartment & staircase was rather dirty- filled with cigarette buds, puddles of water and trash. [We used the brush/broom outside our apartment to clean up the area]

• Emma (8/5): Very good - The location was brilliant. So close to the train station and lots of food places and a supermarket really close as well. The owners communication was great. The apartment is beautiful and well equipped. The shower drain wasn't working great, so filled up and once door was opened it flowed out all over the floor. Nightmare to get 4 people showered and dangerous as floor was slippy. Dust on all skirting boards. Quite noisy at night with traffic and people.

Although the area is pretty good the stairs down to the basement appartment was not nice. Pretty noisy in the night and morning. It wasnt really clean (e.g. carpet and fridge dirty and bathroom sink didnt work - water all over After showering). Awful smell came out of the washing maschine.
