Guest Reviews
- JOSE LUIS (10/5): Tranquilidad -

- Irene (10/5): Maravilloso - Todo genial.
- idaira (10/5): Perfecto - Precioso ambiente.
- Antonia (10/5): - Alles vorhanden, was man brauchen könnte.

- Sinead (10/5): Paradise in La Gomera - Everything. Jonathan and his brother were super helpful. The kitchen had everything to cook. There is a barbeque on the terasse. There was tea, coffee, milk and condiments. Bathroom gorgeous... Lots of hot water and extra towels Nothing

- Andrea (9/5): - Sehr zentral, mega Ausstattung, einfach toll zum runterkommen

- Francisco Javier (10/5): - Un sitio genial, tranquilo.
- Anabel (10/5): Exceptional - intimate and private yet in the village
- Russell (9/5): Should have booked it for longer a longer stay. - This is an excellent property. It detracted a little that the bedroom, kitchen and bathroom each had entry only from the outside terrace and were not inter-connected - a trip to the bathroom in the night was cold.
The house was equipped with absolutely everything, and had a full kitchen, a washing machine, even extras like cooking oils, coffee, tea, laundry detergent etc that are not provided in many places. Outside the house there was outdoors furniture, a hammock and a barbecue.
Google maps recommended to find the way to the house, otherwise it could be difficult.
- Paula (8/5): Very good - Cozy Terrasse, with even a grill and a hammock. Going outside to reach/ enter each room separately.
- Zsolt (10/5): I could live in this house :) - It felt like we were at a real home. Everything is so well done, the furniture, the terrace..., it’s simply a nice place to be.
- Lee (9/5): Quiet little gem with lots of home comforts - The casa is bonito. Nice quiet location, in the lovely sleepy town of Agulo. Lots of tastful decor and home comforts and prompt helpful communications with the host. About a 35 minute scenic and winding bus journey away from San Sebastian. Great local but challenging walks too. Remembering to leave keys outside or take keys with you in every room took some getting used to.
Lots of sun in the garden between sunrise and 3.30pm in winter months, some shade on the pergola would be useful.
- Duncan (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely little house. Wished we had stayed for longer, but I had made a mistake with dates and needed an extra night.
Very quirky house. Obviously lots of love gone in to the details, which is sadly lacking in some properties on the Island that are managed by agencies. Well done!!!! Don’t expect a great view. But lovely patio anyway!
- Paul (9/5): We had a lovely time relaxing at the property. It was tucked away from the main village houses but only 2 minutes walk - Really good facilities. The sun terrace was a lovely place to sit and relax. Nothing
- Jakub (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing quirky little place. It's nestled in a banana plantation, in a village, overlooking a huge sports field, which ticks plenty of boxes for interesting oddness! I came on my own, but I imagine it would be a lovely place to come work a partner, and if you had friends staying in the village you could host a lovely little gathering. Highly recommended.
- Keith (10/5): Exceptional -
- R (9/5): Quirky, characterful and convenient - Quirky and charming little house. The door from the street gives access to a big and nicely furnished terrace. Three doors lead off the terrace to the bathroom, kitchen and bedroom.
The location is at the same time solitary with no direct neighbors (between banana plantations and looking out over a sports field at about 60 meters) and very close to restaurants (first at about 200 meters or so). I slept very well here because it was quiet. The doors from the terrace lock when you pull them closed (like a front door style lock) and then you need a key to open them: you could accidentally lock yourself out if you forget that and leave the keys inside.
- Marian (10/5): Exceptional - I had a great stay at Casa Marcos!! Jonathan is The best host ever! And The casa is super chill:) very clean, well equipped and beautiful scenery. Thank you Jon!
- Tanja (10/5): Exceptional - Amzing place. Everything was perfect.
- Marina (9/5): Superb - We had a very nice stay in this lovely and kind of special house. It's like being decorated and equipped for personal use and with love. The kitchen is well equipped and had basic cooking and coffee ingredients like Oil/vinegar, salt/pepper, sugar, coffee. The whole place was clean, bed very comfy, WiFi stable, good shower with good temperature and nice water pressure, and there's the beautiful, relaxing terrace which can be seen on the fotos.
We never had trouble finding a parking slot on the street close by. Parking is for free there, too. The path to the house isn't very long (in fact much shorter than expected), but of course there are some (kind of irregular) stairs which could be a problem if you are very bad on foot or have very big and heavy luggage. For somebody who is capable of hiking on steep La Gomera it won't be a problem though ;)
Communication with our host was fast, uncomplicated and very helpful and friendly. We are so glad we chose this place! -
- Cornelia (10/5): Living outdoor - The casa has everything needed to make you feel like home: very good kitchen equipment, comfy bed and even a barbecue and washing machine. And the most amazing outdoor lounge.
- Dorri (10/5): Awesome - I enjoyed the place very much, everything one can think of was there, including fresh coffee. Very nice, comfortable and centrally located. Awesome place!
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Sylvie (10/5): The cutest house in a friendly village. - A great place at a perfect location. I loved it. The house is the cutest in town. Colorful tableware. Well equipped. Good bed and a nice sunny terrace. And the owner is topnotch. Good communication.
