• Cynthia (2/5): Rude Staff, Hidden Deposit, and a Stressful Stay — Definitely Not Recommended - I didn’t like anything about this place, except Torremolinos itself — it’s very beautiful. The staff were extremely rude and unfriendly. I chose this accommodation without knowing they required a €100 deposit. I have never been asked for a deposit like that anywhere in the EU, and at that time I hadn’t yet received my salary from Croatia. When I explained that situation and politely asked if they could cancel the booking or shorten my stay so I could cover the amount, they refused. They said that without paying the deposit, I couldn’t enter the apartment, and that they would not refund the money either. The manager then made an inappropriate and offensive remark: “You’re more Latino than I am!” I am Croatian, and I found that comment racist and humiliating. What does my mistake have to do with “Latino people”? Nowhere in Europe have I met someone so antipathetic and disrespectful. Usually, when I make an honest mistake, hosts—regardless of policy—show some empathy and try to help. When I finally managed to pay the deposit, they assured me it would be released right after check-out. Yet they never cancelled the pre-authorization, and now I have to wait up to a month for my bank to release the money — only because they can’t be bothered to press a single button to cancel the transaction. They’re quick to charge, but never to respond. Besides that, the shower had mould, the TV was old and needed an extra device to access Netflix, but that device was missing. I requested it, they promised to bring it the next day, but no one ever came. The towels were dirty, and I had to wash them before using them. The décor was vulgar, the place looked like a cheap motel. On the last day, from 7 a.m., they kept pressuring me to check out before 11:00, threatening to charge me €35 more if I was late. I have never experienced such a stressful and unpleasant check-out anywhere. I honestly don’t understand why they need so much time if they barely clean.

• Hanna (9/5): Apartment was great but pay attention that there is no door between sleeping zone and bathroom, so you may see and hear - All you need for comfort staying. Kitchen full of equipment, air conditioner, TV and WiFi. Recommend for workaction and vacation Everything was okay
