• Berta (7/5): fantastic if u are looking for a resort - the owner is a nice Italian, very competent with recommendations. the rooms were clean and it's in a resort next to the beach. you can park without a problem and its full of nice iguanas! the coffee in the room was a blessing, really. the location is quite secluded, therefore you have to drive quite a bit from the road, with awful public streets or so so private ones (which you need to pay for). so it took some time to really get settled and to accept that once you were back home, there was just the staying there as super far away from regular restaurants and shops.

• Deisy (5/5): Mala experiencia - Nada Es un club privado y no te dicen que debes pagar los brazaletes 10 dolares por persona ,la entrada del auto 10 dólares sin derecho de ir a la playa con el auto y 50 dolares por la limpieza que nunca hubo.la misma casa divida en varias una noche alquilaron a una señora con perros que ladraron toda la noche,había un espejo dañado en una esquina y quisieron cobrarmelo.

• Annika (7/5): Ansprechendes Zimmer mit hartem Bett - Großes Zimmer mit modernem Bad. Es gibt die Möglichkeit für einen geringen Aufpreis das Areal des Punta Leona Clubs zu nutzen. Wir haben für 2 Personen für 2 Tage insgesamt 20$ bezahlt. Das hat sich aber auf jeden Fall gelohnt, da es dort 2 riesige Pools mit Bars, Restaurants, Aktivitäten und Strandzugang gibt. Sehr luxuriös gefühlt besteht auch der halbe Ort nur aus dem Club. Direkt in der Straße von der Unterkunft können einige Leguane beobachtet werden. Dad Bett war für 2 Personen etwas klein und sehr hart. Wir haben nicht gut geschlafen. Zudem haben die Arbeiter vom Nachbargebäude um 6 Uhr morgens angefangen zu arbeiten, was sehr laut war und wir deshalb früh aufgewacht sind. Zudem hat die einweisende Person vor Ort im Gegensatz zur Verwalterin (Kontakt per WhatsApp) kein Englisch gesprochen, sodass man sich nur schwer verständigen konnte.

• Keylin (10/5): Nice big apartment close to Playa Negra - It's a big apartment with everything you need to have a comfortable long stay. In front of the building there is a construction ongoing. So you'll wake up very early due to the construction noise. In the other room, you'll hear the jacuzzi from the neighbors all the time, but that's not super annoying unless you're very sensitive to noise. During the night you'll see some insects in the bathroom floor. Also one of the bathroom will get all wet when you shower, so we avoided using that onr.

• Christof (9/5): Cheap alternative to hotels at playa mantas - Located in walking distance to Playa mantas. Very spaceous with two bathrooms. Well equipped kitchen (apartment 2). Very clean. Nothing.

• Miles (9/5): A perfect home from home feel with a tropical setting just a walk away from the beach. - Perfect size house for a group in a safe gated community just minutes walk away from the beach. House is fully equipped and has great comforting space to sit back and relax including the terrace lounge area with jacuzzi which we enjoyed for the evening. We will definitely be back to stay again for a longer period of time. Host was very helpful during booking process and flexible. No negative feedback other than minor issue with ants first night in the master room which we resolved ourselves with provided insecticide.
• Greg (8/5): Very clean accommodations, recommend for those who are looking for a "resort like" experience. - Two beaches close by. The AC and WiFi worked great (for those that need creature comforts). The host responded quickly to communications. Access to the local club facilities was possible for $10 USD per person per day...though it is recommended to let the host know in advance if you wish to access the local club facilities (which includes a shuttle to Playa Blanca) as they need to provide your passport details to the club in advance. The rooms upstairs at the back of the home are basically self-contained "hotel" rooms with a narrow adjoining balcony. For couples this probably works pretty well, but perhaps not for families looking for a common area to share and be together. The photos show common areas within the house itself, presumably downstairs, but we never went down there. Lastly, please note that payment for the accommodations cannot be made by credit card. Either bring cash or, as suggested by the host, go to a bank to make a deposit into their bank account in advance. We chose the cash option as having to deal with going to the bank seemed a bit onerous and time consuming.
