• K_A_T_E_R_I_N_A (8/5): comfortable apartment - Where to start? The apartment is truly enormous, beautiful, and very comfortable. I’m not sure how suitable it would be for six people, but for the three of us it was more than spacious enough. From two of the bedrooms and the living room there’s a lovely view of the square, while the third bedroom and the kitchen overlook a small inner courtyard. The amenities were absolutely sufficient, and although the beds were on the softer side, they were still very comfortable. We also appreciated the plenty of storage space and the iron. A number of people have mentioned the small bathroom here. Yes, the bathroom space is indeed very limited, although for the three of us it didn’t cause any major issues. However, I can imagine that not everyone would comfortably fit into the shower. My only real complaint is the sink, which is so tiny that it’s practically impossible to even brush your teeth at it. Another downside is the noise in the bedroom facing the inner courtyard — at 5 a.m. the garbage collectors drag bins over the cobblestones, and at midnight the restaurant staff clatter dishes and shout to each other. And then there are the neighbors who decided to clear out their apartment at midnight, with everything unfortunately crashing and falling to the floor…

Saturday night was unbearably noisy, especially in the main bedroom where one of the interior windows was missing. Calmed down for the rest of our stay. Also there is only one quite small bathroom.

• Anna (10/5): The location, styling and spaciousness of this apartment was sublime - altogether dreamy. - A quintessential, exquisite central Copenhagen apartment. Perfect everything… My kids and I absolutely loved our time here. Couldn’t figure out the drying cycle on the washer/dryer, but that was my fault! Also, one tiny bathroom was a little tricky for 5/6 people…

• Bryony (8/5): Very spacious and centrally located but needs love, another bathroom and some soundproofing! - The apartment is really big. Nice furniture in the dining room, living room and well equipped kitchen. The location was great in terms of being central in the city. Check-in process pretty straight forward. Nice vibe in the apartment in general. Sadly the building is right above lots of bars and restaurants and not very sound proof - very noisy at the weekend with social noise going until 3am. Mattresses are basically just toppers not real mattresses, so very uncomfortable. Lacking a bit more furniture in the bedroom, like a console table or dressing table to put items on. There were hangers in the wardrobe but no rail. Could do with some extra towels and bigger ones. There is only one, very small, bathroom, which is tough going for 6 people sharing. As it's such a big apartment you could easily fit in a second bathroom, and it would help so much. The bathroom/shower was worse for wear and didn't seem very clean or looked after, probably the worst kept room but one of the most important. The filter water on the fridge didn't work.
• julie (10/5): Beautiful apartment in a great location. - Beautiful apartment in a charming square. Ideal spot for staying in Copenhagen. Nearby cafes and restaurants are great. Very central. Loved our stay. It’s a busy square so can be noisy at night and in the morning when the buns are collected but fine with earplugs! There is only one shower room/toilet so pretty busy if you have six guests. We managed fine but the shower is quite cosy to get in and out of.

• Sally (9/5): A gorgeous, spacious, central apartment which greatly enhanced our first trip to Copenhagen. - Very beautiful apartment. The colour palette used throughout is stunning. It was a really warm and inviting place to come back to after a day's sightseeing. Great beds. I would have welcomed more notes at the apartment about how to organize the recycling. Also some local recommendations for the best cafes/late night dinner options (we arrived on a late flight)

Mye bråk utenfor på natten, bråk fra folk og fest må man forvente midt i sentrum i en helg, men var også mye støy fra flytting og tømming av søppelkasser.

• Libby (8/5): A lovely apartment in a gorgeous city - Beautiful apartment in a lovely area - and so handy for sightseeing as well as great restaurants and bars. Apartment was really spacious and well equipped. Noise at night in the square at the front with late night revellers, but was made clear before we booked and also part of the deal when you’re booking a central place. But more than compensated by the great location.

Access was very smooth and the code system was ideal for a family as there was no need to coordinate keys. Nothing negative other than that they had an iron but no ironing board.

• Murat (9/5): Excellent stay in the heart of Copenhagen - 1. Location. 2. Apartment beddings. 3. Apartment facilities(you can find every you may need) 4. The owner was very kind, provided an early check in 1. Lavatory and bathroom were too narrow that you can not wash your face easily. For bathroom it was too diffucult to trurn and leave the shover😁 2. The apartment needs dark curtalns to isolate the room, we woke up at 5 in the morning wlth the ultra bright sunlight. 3. The location is amazing but on the other hand it was too noisy. It was almost impossible to open the windows due to noise on saturday night(people continued to drink and have fun until 4 o’clock)

• Karin (8/5): - Die Wohnung ist wunderschön und sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Alles war sehr sauber. Die Lage ist sehr gut mitten in der Stadt. Check in war einfach. Es war sehr warm und man konnte am Abend die Fenster nicht offen lassen, weil es so laut war. Es sind viele Lokale auf dem Platz und war bis Mitternacht sehr laut. Um 4.00 Uhr kamen Lieferanten etc. Die Fenster im Hof (wo es leise war) konnten nicht geöffnet werden, weil der Geruch der Mülltonnen dort unangenehm war.

Be aware that the central location means it can be quite noisy at night, especially over the weekend. Plenty of room for everyone to relax without getting in each others way.

We loved the views of the square from the living room and bedrooms. We expected a little noise as the location is so central, and this didn't detract from our stay.

The rooms were beautiful, spacious, and had very comfortable beds with crisp white sheets. The square was full of amazing restaurants with outdoor seating. They all closed at a reasonable hour, so we didn’t have any noise issues. The location of the apartment was incredible! There were so many great shops just a few steps away. I feel so lucky to have found this listing - it made for a fantastic stay in Copenhagen!

The bathroom is small in relation to accomodation. Sink is no use with cupboard in the way and needs unblocking. Showerhead needs to be serviced.

• Samira (8/5): Spacious and beautiful location, cleaning needs improvement. - - The apartment is spacious and beautifully located in the heart of the city, perfect for exploring. - Separate spacious dining and living areas - Three spacious bedrooms, two with double beds - Large kitchen with refrigerator/freezer combination - Kitchen towels/rags, handwash and shampoo and conditioner were provided - Bedsheets and towels all sparkling white and clean - Not suitable for people with mobility issues (lots of stairs to the 2nd floor). - Upon arrival, it was unclear which apartment in the building we should go to (lacking name/number). - The procedure for using the access code in conjunction with opening the door was unclear. - There is no coat rack for jackets/sweaters. - Cleanliness needs improvement. We found a lot of dust on the shelves and surfaces, which required cleaning before we could place anything on them.

• Krista (8/5): Very good - Beautiful apartment in a central location. There were tons of great restaurants and shops in the square right below us, which we enjoyed. Check-in was easy, and Carolina let us check in early! It's very loud at night, so you have to keep the windows closed. There is no A/C (common in old buildings in Europe), so it got pretty toasty at night during the summer. Would love if there were fans in the apartment.

Host very quick to respond to any questions. The fan didn’t work. An extra loo would have been great. Just one shower room/toilet in an apartment for six is not ideal.
• Michael (8/5): If you like the nightlife and can handle only one bathroom and the walkup, this is the place to stay - The location was excellent, in the heart of the city, easy to get to all of our destinations. The view was spectacular, overlooking a town square with several restaurants, very vibrant. The rooms were very large, perfect for our family with very comfortable 2 king beds for the adults and 2 twins for the kids. Large kitchen with many amenities, making breakfast was easy. Overall very pleased but here are a few things to consider - 45 step walkup, no air conditioning although the weather was generally cool, casement windows were a challenge to let air circulate, generally needed to be locked wide open which at times was an issue (easily remedied with different widow locks), the vibrant restaurant courtyard was very noisy late at night with very loud diners, daylight until 10 pm and the noise made sleeping somewhat difficult. For the size of the apartment, the bathroom was very small with virtually no counter space, having only one bathroom was a challenge but we knew when we made the reservation.
• Craig (7/5): Could be a great location if not woken every morning ( 4am) by waste collection traffic. - The central location was convenient for the City atmosphere and walking proximity. The noise from the square was too much, the evening atmosphere was lively and fun, but around 4am each morning the clean up and waste removal started and was v loud from the apartment. Given it is summer and warm, you wanted the windows open, but even if closed the noise was still loud. For a five day stay the apartment should have been cleaned at least once. The door lock is temperamental both on opening and closing, as I have read that in previous reviews, this is not being addressed.

• Katthleen (9/5): Charming Apartment and Great Location - We were met by the Booking host on time, who provided details of our stay and answered all our questions. The apartment is absolutely charming, with a great layout and spaciousness. It was clean, bright, and had many windows. It overlooked a courtyard filled with restaurants with outside seating and, during our May visit, people. This is a very lively area, and it is easy to walk to most locations of Copenhagen or take a quick taxi if needed. Nothing we can think of.

Close to all amenities, restaurants, supermarkets, metro, trains etc. Well stocked kitchen for some basic cooking, spacious living room with sofa and tv. Bathroom is of a decent size, with 6 people there was waiting times sometimes but it does the job and good enough for us.

• Inge (8/5): Comfortable and great location! - Super location on a beautiful square, very central and close to the main attractions of Copenhagen. The apartment was very spacious and warm. The owner was very quick to respond when when we pointed out the some of the beds were not made up. Someone came to fix the issue within 1/2 hr. There are lots of bars / restaurants on the square, which are being re-stocked very early in the morning. Expect to be woken by noisy delivery lorries and dustbin lorries as two of the bedrooms are on the front. Also, be aware that the apartment building has no elevator and there's plenty of stairs to get to the 4th floor! There is only one toilet available (in the shower room!) - it meant we had to queue sometimes ...

Fantastic location for exploring the city. Overlooking a square with bars & restaurants which were very noisy in the morning with bins being emptied & deliveries. Cutlery needs restocking as there is not enough knives & forks for all guests.

• Brian (7/5): A good apartment in a central location with some small flaws. - The location was excellent - we were close to the centre of Copenhagen and could walk to most of the attractions we wanted to visit. The three bedrooms were very spacious and well appointed. The kitchen was well equipped (not that we used it very much) and the lounge areas were very large. Because of the central location it was noisy at night although this quitened down by midnight. In the hot summer we had a choice of opening the windows to be cool or closing them to be quite - however this would be a feature of any apartment in a central location. There was only one small bathroom with inadequate space for drying towels and only a shower which meant that it was time consuming getting out in the morning. Also some of the furnishings were relaively cheap. The front door occasionally gave us some problems and would do with being repaired (one of the screws on the handle was missing).

• Mindy (10/5): Completely Content in Copenhagen! - We absolutely loved our stay at Carolina's apartment. Carolina met us promptly and walked us through everything we needed to know about the apartment...including where to grab groceries close by. The apartment was so incredibly beautiful, spacious, a perfect central location and clean. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay while exploring Copenhagen. Plus there were many restaurants right outside our doors...but it was just as lovely to drink wine, laugh and enjoy food at the large dining table in the apartment. I only wish we could've stayed longer. It's such a special, amazing place. I'd definitely stay again if ever visiting Copenhagen in the future. The energy there and even church bells just added to the ambience. Thanks so much Carolina! We are still wishing we were there. Brighter lights in the bathroom
• Lydia (10/5): best service and excellent location. - the apartment is perfectly situated with many restaurants and boutiques and the main shopping streets. it’s spacious and super clean. most importantly the service was excellent and truly saved our trip after struggling with other bookings elsewhere. thank you Carolina so much!!! highly recommend.
