- Boris (10/5): Gorgeous hotel - It was the best and cheapest hotel from my trip to South America. The staff is professional. The room is big and spacious. The view is amazing. The thing I liked the most is the art decoration of the hotel. Breakfast wasn't something special. There is room of improvement.
- Stuart (9/5): Superb - Very welcoming and friendly staff. Very luxurious and clean hotel, I would definitely recommend. N/a
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Renata (10/5): Excellent hotel! - Friendly staff, nice room, nice breakfast! Nothing.
- Vivianne (9/5): Great - Great value for money. Breakfast was superb and room was very clean and spacious with city views. The bar upstairs and swimming pool were open but it didn’t feel welcoming as no mattresses on the beds and tables not set
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Moisés (5/5): Good facilities, mid service - The facilities were good. The room was big and clean, which we liked. The hotel has a nice view from the pool area. Overall it is a beautiful hotel. There is no staff in the rooftop bar, even though it says it's open the whole day. The staff we found cared more about an event or future events than the actual guests at the hotel (us). The lobby bar had no Singani (which i find unacceptable in any bar in Bolivia). The Gin Tonics we ordered were nowhere close to an actual Gin Tonic. They overcharged for our drinks without even providing an invoice. The breakfast (assisted) had no menus, and we had to guess what to order. The water provided in the rooms came without a bottle opener. Overall, the facilities and the staff were good, but they need to work on the services they provide. Which is not close to a 5 star hotel.
- Emanuel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Abou (10/5): Exceptional - Everything best Stay in Santa Cruz
- Abou (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bernardo (8/5): Very good - Nice comfortable rooms with basically all you need for a night It took a bit too long to reserve my room.. they said they hadn't been notified by booking.com therefore I had to wait awhile until I got a room which was unpleasant since I was really tired
- Alexey (2/5): How can this be called Swissotel - Overall if maintained properly it could be a decent hotel. Not 5-star, but nice and comfy I've been to Swissotel in 4 different countries and this is my biggest disappointment in this hotel chain ever
-Air Conditioning. We arrived in the hotel and everything was nice, room is clean and cozy. But then ventilation started to work bringing awful odour into the room, and as I checked more close, all surrounded parts to exhaust vent was covered with black mold, so as I didn't want to inhale it, we asked to move to another room, which was on 19th floor.
-Extra Noise. As said previously, we were moved to the 19th floor, but there was a party on the 20th floor (rooftop bar or something) till late night which was not very disturbing for us, but can be disturbing for someone who is looking for proper sleep.
-Sleep and beds. Beds, pillows, bed sheets are amazing, with one, but huge BUT. They are covered with awful protectors, the feeling is you're sleeping in the linen with rubber underneath. If removed. It's really the best
-Staff. Despite the fact it's 5-star hotel, 1 out of 10 speaks English, housekeeping, frontdesk will not be able to help you if you are calling the for example 9pm. For example we were gone 11AM from the room, returning back 9pm to find that our room was not cleaned, and there's no one to help you out to get new towels or water.
-Breakfast. No egg station, no fresh juice, no roast & ground coffee. Options are very limited, and what was killing me, everything is kept covered in plastic, so they could use it for the other meal
- Aaron (10/5): Exceptional -
- Uwe (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was great, room, fitness, pool area, breakfast. Nothing to complain about
- Jozef (1/5): Disaster - Nothing **Review for Swissotel Santa Cruz de la Sierra:**
Our experience at Swissotel Santa Cruz de la Sierra was disappointing. Despite having received information from the reservations department that check-in could be done at 12 PM, the receptionist informed us that it wasn't possible until 3 PM, causing unnecessary frustration. My wife ended up waiting in the restaurant for 50 minutes, which was inconvenient.
We did receive a fruit platter as an apology for the wait, but it did little to make up for the inconvenience. Additionally, we were charged for water during breakfast, which should be included in a standard hotel breakfast.
On top of this, the rooms lacked maintenance, which further impacted our stay. The poor service and lack of coordination between the hotel staff were notable issues during our visit.
- Ken (7/5): Great hotel, but don’t plan on working online - Very clean and modern, excellent restaurant (pro tip: order the comida típica). The worst internet service I’ve seen in Bolivia.
- Benjamin (9/5): Enjoy it - Modern and clean Not many clients , looks empty upstairs
- Lavon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fernando (7/5): Good -
- Mehmet (9/5): Wonderful Business trip - The room was good. It looked New. Staf were amazing. Especially Info desk Javier was perfect Professional. General Director and other staff also very good and Professional too. They helpful and kind. Restaurant the Manager Lulu has got really great client satisfaction skills. Foods were wonderful especially meats. Location was terrible place. You can not walk around coz of safety.
- Lena (9/5): Superb -
- Esteban (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rodrigo (9/5): Superb -
- Rod_it (6/5): Nice place to stay, but could done better. - The hotel installations were modern and pleasantly well-appointed with a nice and varied breakfast buffet. The pool installations at the rooftop were not well taken care of, without services, and therefore not very useful.
- Sebastian (7/5): It was ok if you are staying for work but if you want to be closer to activities this is not the hotel - Room was comfortable Location is not walking distance from anything and the surrounding is not nice
- Virginia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sergio (8/5): Very good -
- David (9/5): Superb - Nice and clean The gym was quite limited
- Oscar (9/5): Superb - The staff and facilities were top standard, i was very comfortable and happy with the stay, good value for money, bed was super comfy N/A
- David (10/5): Exceptional - All staff interactions were excellent. The gym was very basic, just a couple of machines.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jorge (10/5): Great cost benefit - Facilities Location

- Laura (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arie (9/5): Superb -
- Ken (9/5): Superb -
- Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jamie (10/5): Excellent - Clean, spacious, good restaurant
- Ken (8/5): Great hotel, yet rather remote. Plan ahead. - This is a lovely hotel, with attentive staff and a very good restaurant on the ground floor. Great water pressure, very modern design. The website clearly stated that an airport shuttle was available, but ended up being $20 each way - wildly expensive in the local context, compared to simply calling a taxi myself. The remoteness of the hotel makes it all but impossible to hail a taxi on the street. Also, the TV stopped receiving signal halfway through my two-day stay. While the front desk had a technician arrive within minutes, he was unable to resolve the issue after an hour's effort.
- Gilbert (8/5): Very good -
- Daniel (7/5): Good - they told me the time for visits is only 11 pm. and after that time the would charge for the nicght. wich is absurd cause th price for the room is for two peaple. that was ridiculus
- Jeffery (1/5): Bad - so terrible Roxie food and terrible folks
- Jimena (7/5): Good -
- Jorge (10/5): Excellent experience - Great quality price
- Juan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Monica (7/5): Good - The views were amazing. Food was good. Hotel was clean. The pool had no stairs or handle bars. It felt extremely unsafe. There was no service at the pool by the staff. There were no towels provided. Some staff were unfriendly and unapproachable.
- Jimena (6/5): great option! - nice new building in a nice location. very comfortable rooms
- David (6/5): This time a lot worse than before. - ⛔It was really difficult to rate this stay, because previously I gave a straight 10
Now everything was worse.
Let's start with the fact, that although pool temperature is excellent cleanliness could improve a lot.
Found a plethora(not 4,not 10) dead insects swimming in it. But this is not even the worst part.
Unfortunately, some citizens, in my case an elderly bolivian couple (around 40-45 years old) after using the gym for hours and getting swamp sweat they entered the pool without taking shower which is incredibly gross.
Not gonna get into details anymore, imagine the rest. Who goes to tanning salons knows the distinctive smell that doesn't come off your body even after soaking it for hours in shower gel.
Other than that, due to the fact that the hotel had relatively 'little' number of guests, (around 10-12) the breakfast had reduces drastically. Pretty bad because breakfast is one of the strongest points of this hotel!
It was a tiny little selection of everything, about 10 percent of what we had back in March.
Pretty dissapointed because of this.
Other than that, I think that it is a total unhuman behavior to charge 30 BS for a liter of drinking water(basic human need and not a Luxury) after paying almost 100 bucks.
These things add up and can really annoy especially foreigners. Of course people can say'you afford 5 stars and b....h about a few bucks' - it is not about those bucks. They could have a refillable water machine and that's it. Water is a must and not a luxury.
Asked for some drinking water during BF and the young man tried to charge me. Luckily the presumed owner(an elderly man) was there and offered it for free since nobody told me that there is no drinking water included in BF.
Staff is pretty frinedly although they could improve a lot. Especially their concierge was pretty grumpy on an early morning. ✅ Nice forest view
Friendly manager(greeted personally with a huge smile
They gave me a high floor to have a great view
- Rogier (9/5): Superb -
- None (10/5): Good but why is food and water so expensive - I like Expensive water and drinks and food
- Angela (8/5): It was very nice! - It was a nice hotel. I highly recommend it! The pool is not really a pool. It is not profound maybe half of a meter. Good for young children only 😂😂
- Kris (1/5): Dont go here staff will fool you - The room was ok, enough space and good shower and tv options. As soon as the staff saw I had a foreign passport they overprize everything for me. Be careful when booking at this place you could end up paying more than you think.
The receptionist gave me a prize for 2 nights in bolivian currency which was way too overpriced from dollar conversion given in Booking.com. When I payed I chose dollars thinking I was saving some but no if the receptionist had been honest with the conversion of dollar to bolivian currency the room would have been cheaper to pay. I lost like 60 dollars in currency conversion thanks to the staff or better said I was fooled.
Very disappointed of bolivians being bolivian myself with a foreign citizenship. They just fool you and take your money in all ways they can. The price from the airport to the hotel is 70 bolivianos but when I asked the receptionist what's the price to the airport she looked at me saying 20 dollars which is about 140 bolivianos. Why give such high prices?
Dear staff be more honest with bolivian prices you will scare turists and bolivians as well.
Horrible breakfast with food that is from previous day and very little options. Don't go here if you want a disappointment on food. And don't bother to ask the people around they dont know anything.
Dear staff you could do better. Bolivian food is amazing comparing to what you serve.
And on more thing if you book 2 nights and if suddenly you decide to leave before the 1st night you will have commit a penalty and be charged 50 dollars even if you payed for the entire stay, another way to suck more money!!

- Alessandra (10/5): incredible hotel for one night stay. - renovated, new, contemporary modern facility. rooftop is exceptional. for one night it’s perfect - if more , consider something more resort like from the area you can’t really walk anywhere, you have to take a taxi to go even to the closest area
- Alejandro (9/5): Superb -
