Mahalath (8/5): Spacious, clean apartment near the centre of Tirana - It was easy to check in and out as well as pay. The instructions to find it were pretty good. It was located just off a main street, but it was quiet. It's a really good sized apartment, and the couch is comfy. The kitchen had everything I needed (I didn't cook, but it looked like it was stocked well). It's a good price. There were a few minor renovations that could be done. The bathroom was a bit smelly, and it seemed like the central drain wasn't working too well. It was fine with the door shut. It was also on the 5th or 6th floor with no lift. I think it says this in the description, and no points were taken off for this, but it's good to know. The window was open when I got to the apartment which had let in some mosquitos or similar that bit me quite a lot on my first night, so maybe a screen in the living room would be good. Finally, it would have been nice if there was some water in the apartment. There's a bit on the fridge that could be filled, or a water machine or something. Especially with it being such a long walk up, it was a bit annoying when I'd inevitably forget to get water. Oh, also a lamp in the bedroom would have been nice!
