• Aguilar (8/5): - El , lugar , las instalaciones, la habitación muy cómoda, el jacuzzi, la piscina El desayuno pésimo, muy pobre , además el camarero fatal , lo siento no me gusta escribir esto , pero el camarero muy mal le pedimos más pan , pero nada , todo miserablemente, paso de nosotros literalmente, pienso que tienen que mejorar, nosotros íbamos con niños y se supone que tiene que haber lo básico para ellos por lo menos , lo d más muy bien 👌

• mprodriguez (10/5): - Todas las instalaciones limpias, la piscina, el hidromasaje y las habitaciones muy cómodas, la decoración de las mismas te da un ambiente relajado. En el restaurante la comida muy buena así como la atención del personal. Levantarse con el sonido de los pájaros y la vista del Mandango hace que te sientas alejado de estrés cotidiano. Vale la pena sin duda volver!! Entiendo que guardan armonía con la naturaleza, sin embargo en los juegos de niños muchas telarañas y arañas. Faltaría un poquito más de mantenimiento en ese sentido para que los peques también disfruten.

• Maria (7/5): Rustic *** hotel - I liked the views, pool and comfortable bed. The breakfast was good. And the coffee could be stronger especially in Loja where the best coffee is crown. I thought some of the public areas could do with a clean like the steps and corners of the hallways. I also thought that the hotel itself was rustic that I do t mind but some of the trimmings could be finished off a bit nicer.

El baño de la habitación no era para nada cómodo, no servía el tomacorriente junto al lavador y a pesar que lo reporté no lo arreglaron. El papel higiénico del baño es de los más económicos. Los armarios de la habitación son muy artesanales y no funcionan bien. Al ser una hostería costosa deben tener mucho más cuidado de los detalles. NO hay un mueble para colocar la maleta. En teoría la habitación en la que me hospedé era de las más caras pero tenía estos detalles.

• Brent (9/5): Excellent lodging, restaurant, staff and value. Good location. - Everything. Room with spa excellent and large room. Staff very accomodating. I’ve come to Vilca at least five times. Probably more. I stayed at a different place each time until I stayed here. This is the only place I stayed twice. I’m coming back to Vilca in a month or two. I will stay at El Descanso del Toro. It’s a no brainer. A little bit outside centro, but not really that much. 5-10 minute walk but that’s good for you. Also places in the centre have noise issues, Being a bit outside helps.
• Nancy (7/5): Lovely area a few blocks from town. Very scenic and quiet with a lot of birds. Don't eat there! - The breakfast was good tasting. It was convenient to our room, really pretty and good service. We had a spa massage and I would recommend it since otherwise we wouldn't have walked through the garden on the far side of the hostel. Very cool plants and paths through the garden. We took an easy hike by the river and it is only 1/2 a block from the hostel. Our room had the large spa tub and it was really nice to fill it with hot water after a long hike and soak a bit. The only problem was getting very sick after eating at the restaurant there. We think it was some of the water - ice cubes and hot water for tea. Terrible vomiting all the way home about an hour after eating at the restaurant. So although the service and food was great tasting, I wouldn't recommend going there again.

• Brent (9/5): Best in town. - Excellent valye and location. It approaches a full-service hotel with restaurant, etc. I’ve stayed at 4 other lodgings in Vilca. The others don’t come close. The spa in the room was great too! Maybe a little bigger menu in the restaurant. But it’s still ahead of the other Vilcabamba!
• Christopher (10/5): Best resort in the Loja Province and best hotel in Vilcabamba - I loved everything about this hotel. It is a 5 star resort with an outstanding staff that goes out of their way to make sure you feel welcomed and have everything you need. Breakfast is fantastic and cooked fresh every day. They have two pools which are well maintained and perfect for swimming. Their garden area where you can walk around and look at local and exotic flowers is gorgeous and very private. The location is perfect, within a 5 minute walk to the central park but far enough away that you don't get bothered by the noise. But the best part of this hotel is the staff. They are so friendly and helpful! I can't wait to visit again! Nothing. Everything was outstanding. There's literally nothing to complain about. I can't think of a single expectation that was not met.
