• Lisa (7/5): 3 couple's - The size of the villa for 3 couple's was great. The single beds were uncomfortable for big guys, more suited for kids. Pool was great, kitchen had all utensils needed and barbecue was used twice. Great location for both new and old town. Also lidle very near Beds and pillows uncomfortable, no cleaning products at all. Doors very creaky. Cleaners came at 8am on last day, and seemed keen for us to go before our check out time of 10am

• Paul (8/5): Overall pleased with size of Villa Mar and the facilities it provided. - Spacious and well placed for walking to amenities, shops, supermarkets, etc. Comfortable lounge, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Good security and excellent sized safe. Slightly dated in parts. Kitchen cupboard doors ill-fitting, bathroom cabinet in en-suite partly delaminated due to water damage, clearly over a number of years. Slight rusting to bottom of fridge door.
• Anne (9/5): A lovely peaceful and relaxing stay. - The property was very clean and private. It was lovely and peaceful. We had the most relaxing holiday. If we had a problem, the staff were very helpful. I think it needed a little refresh in some areas.

• Nick (9/5): - Enorm ruime, schone villa. Zwembad is top qua afmetingen en verwarming. Veel ruimte rond het huis voor de kinderen om te spelen (voetbalpleintje, pooltafel, zwembadgebied). Alle apparatuur werkt naar behoren. Denk na over de locatie: wij wandelen makkelijk en veel, maar zeker terug naar het huis is een forse klim vanaf strand of restaurants. Overigens rijden er veel en goedkope taxi's. De eenpersoonsbedden zijn echt voor jongere kinderen. De kwaliteit van de matrassen is namelijk laag en het matras is vaak doorgelegen. Kinderen zullen daar overigens weinig tot geen last van hebben. De kwaliteit matras van het volwassenbed is goed, alleen is dit bed juist weer wat klein (140cm).
• Michael (9/5): More or less perfect! - Very well described, very nice place, had everything you would need. It's very clean, staff are very friendly and leave you to it respecting privacy but also there if you need them. Good location, great facilities. Great size property, comfy beds. We liked everything to be honest. Only thing I would say is some of the private vendors have a more personal touch, like bottle of wine or water on arrival, whereas villa plus was more commercial. No issues though just would have been a nice touch.

• Gemma (10/5): Would stay here again - Just back from 14 nights, it was amazing Stayed with our children 7 & 5 years old Villa Mar is in a great location Walkable to Lidl (right behind villa) 2 shopping centres close by We walked to the old town and the main strip Pharmacy, supermarkets and restaurants all very close by. The villa it’s self was great, very spacious, clean Beds were changed and clean towels provided 4 times during our 14 nights Bedrooms have had an upgrade, so current photos don’t do it justice. The hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave have been upgraded Beds are like a memory foam mattress so wouldn’t be to everyone’s taste but we found them ok (can’t beat your own bed though!!) You’ll need adapter plugs Thoroughly enjoyed the pool table, ping pong and especially the pool which was heated Bins across the road which was great so not to have rubbish hanging around We had a hire car and found a parking space outside the villa every time The utility facilities were perfect, great for getting out of pool and not getting the house drenched !! There was a power cut during one of the nights and the alarm was beeping, we contacted the Villa plus rep and she was very responsive and had someone out to us within the hour. All in all we would recommend this villa and would definitely book with villa plus again A suggestion that the fridge may need replacing Temperature fluctuated slightly and humming noise until you give it a tap. Also the emailed instruction manual for the villa needs to be updated for the appliances And maybe update photos with new decor in bedrooms as it’s lovely

• Andrew (7/5): We had a great stay and would visit again and recommend the villa to friend - Good location, good sized rooms, nice pool and outside area. Good to have washing machine and area to dry clothes. Easy to park The facilities and utensils for cooking were limited. More pans and baking trays would have been useful. Although it is villa Plus policy not to provide basic cleaning products, hand wash in the bathrooms would have been welcome.

• Anna (9/5): Irish family of 6 - Loved the location ( to add very near lidl/ supermarkets as we were a family of 6 ) Loved the private pool and outside area We enjoy playing pool Plenty of space.Three bathrooms for 6 guests was ideal 10 minute walk to old town. We found a few local bar / pizzeria 5 minutes walk away. Definitely return! Small issue: Iron had a funny smell. Perhaps a suggestion to have it replaced

• Sueap (7/5): Not as luxurious as we had hoped for - Fantastic location. Cleaners coming in mid-stay was brilliant. The pool was spacious, clean and lovely to use. Air Con was brilliant. Loved the pool table, great to have the bbq but we didn't end up using it. The addition of AstroTurf around the pool was great as the tiles got really hot. The bathrooms and bedrooms were all nicely decorated, clean and nice to use. The groceries we paid extra for were really bad value for money. There was no soap to wash your hands with and only 3 cheap dishwasher tablets for the week. The speakers of the TV are failing and buzzing. The tv remote control's buttons don't work properly. The couch is worn and uncomfortable. Knives in the kitchen are dreadful, none of them are sharp so are difficult to use.
• Caroline (8/5): Great stay - Excellent stay in Villa Luz, nice and spacious. All u need here, home from home. Pool nice size, outside seating area plenty space and private with comfy couch.. . No neighbours looking in a plus. WiFi, TV, air con, washing machine, fridge, iron all in good working order. To be fair one of the best places I've stayed in over the years of travel. We had a short power cut one night, but the panic as, some guests were in shower. Thankfully with help fairly prompt on phone to the emergency number on booking info we discovered was a trip switch. The various keys to villa could be improved, 2 bent keys were tricky in doors, and all same colour and similar size made for trials very often. Colour ID on keys would help this! A little communication from a rep even just once would be nice. No sight or call from anyone!

Location and also just small things such as not having security of locking the front gate. Also would be nice to have small bits like sugar - frying oil etc in the villa even from previous people who where there.

The master bedroom bed was small with one shared holster pillow which wasn’t particularly comfortable. The kitchen didn’t have many pans for cooking.
