• Saatchi (6/5): Poor rental basics - Security of the Tower entrance & exit was superb. Floor 36 - Swimming pool was stunning, seating area was good, play equipment, gym & toilets. Good aircon in the apartment. Washing machine. Plenty of clothes hangers. Shower pressure was great. The beds were comfortable with 2 decent pillows on each bed. Good message only response from the lettings team when I encountered problems. The apartment standard was a mixture of great location, but a very poor provision of comfortable equipment. Netflix was available but we were unable to change the language into English I was told that I needed my own account password. As I travel more than I am at home, I do not subscribe because it has always been a standard provision. Cleanliness was not up to standard. Lots of dust on the top shelf in the small bedroom, the TV unit in the lounge was very dusty, the microwave outside & inside walls were dirty. The crisper drawer in the fridge was dirty with dried spilt liquid. In the bathroom the shower tiles needed scrubbing around the on/off handle. There are lots of scuffs & water damage to the general furniture. The walls in the main bedroom & in the kitchen where the open bin is situated were stained dirty. I feel that the open bin attracted small ants into the kitchen as I found them on the work surface & in the kitchen cupboards. Usually in rental apartments there are table & drink mat protectors to place on the dining table, but there were none in this apartment. No shaver point in the bathroom for charging. Kitchen basics missing - ZERO drinking glasses, 6 mugs (1 chipped), only 1 teaspoon & the rest of the cutlery needed washing before use. Only a few plastic utensils for cooking & no serving dishes for family meal. There were 6 dinner plates, 5 side plates, 6 bowls provided. Broken small ironing board (only table top board) & cover very dirty. After contacting the agent I was told that they only provide drinking glasses for juice or water. I was assured that they were going privde glasses & buy some cutlery for the apartment, at least replenishing the 1x teaspoon! None of these things arrived during my 4 night stay. I paid £240 for 4 nights, so my expectations were reasonable.

• Wai (8/5): Great location for local travellers or experienced visitors in local area - Great location for what we need. The location is attached to the shopping mall which is very convenient. It is also near the monorail station so if we want to travel by monorail it would have been accessible. The check-in was very good - despite not required to meet the host, the host provided detailed explanation on where to get the key from the mailbox, parking and access to the apartment via WhatsApp. The bathroom was not cleaned thoroughly prior to our check in..we found hairs on the ground and also cups were not cleaned in the kitchen. Perhaps it was a careless mistake? The tower is located next to a busy road so we can hear the traffic which could be difficult for light sleepers.
