• Hannah (1/5): Disappointed - Having just returned from a 2 night stay at this accommodation we couldn’t refrain from putting up a negative review. We stayed as a group of 3 girls and nothing about this place was good. From the moment we arrived we were shocked by the appalling state of the outside of the property; there was random junk items, rubbish bags lying around, broken tiles and an all round uninviting exterior. We then had to wait half an hour for someone to arrive with our key as we were told other guests had taken ours (as a group of three women this made us feel very on edge). Upon eventually entering the property the overwhelming smell of cigarettes hit us. The finishes inside the property were shocking. The kitchen taps were hanging off, the toilet seat was hanging off, broken bed springs, dirty dishcloths, bedroom doors didn’t shut, plugs didn’t work, the bed in the living room was broken and kept wheeling away. There was no slip mat in the bathroom leading to one of our group being injured after slipping in the bath. The one blind in the living room to allow any sunlight in to the property didn’t work. We had no hot water or heating. When we got home all our belongings smelt of stale cigarettes. As non smokers this was not nice. Please if you are thinking of booking this property look at the photos we have taken they are nothing like what they are advertising. To top it we have raised our concerns with landlord & booking.com but nothing back!
• Amy (10/5): Excellent stay host was amazing would definitely recommend 10/10 - Very clean and spacious, perfect for my toddler to run around in Opposite Hyde park and close walking distance to the centre
• Lydia (10/5): Exceptional - The flat was like a Home from home , had everything we needed! Great location, the tube was just around the corner less than a 5 min walk. Owners communication was fantastic! There wasn't anything we could complain about in all honesty
• Frank (7/5): Good - Location was terrific. Apartment has very good features. Apartment was let down due to basic maintenance items not being done. Lights not working in kitchen and living room. Ensuite toilet seat very loose, power cords running through the kitchen, across the floor, to connect the fridge. Laundry and washing items not easily found amongst the cupboard clutter. Front window blind not functional.. Cleaner arrived before we were due to leave. Communication with hosts was good but not much was fixed during our stay..
• Raychel (3/5): Disappointing - The location was good I had to chase for code for lock box, we had to plug tv in change remote control then find batteries for remote control. However there was no actual TV stations just apps for you to use so if you do not have accounts with the pay for use services you were left with bbc iplayer. There were extension cords in kitchen for the washing machine and fridge which were tripping hazards. When we wanted hot water there was none, we then had to find and switch on boiler. There were lots of little things broken such as toilet seats, blinds and taps, looking out of the windows the views were of untidy and poorly maintained areas.

• Janet (8/5): Comfortable stay in fabulous location -right next to beautiful Hyde Park! - Brilliant location. Mohamed was very responsive and a good communicator.
• Jo (7/5): Great location with simple offerings. - Location and price comparison for area was good it had 2 bedrooms plus sofa in lounge so plenty of space as had 2 teenagers with us which is great when travelling compared to hotel rooms. Good updates and communication from property. The hot water stopped working for showers twice had it fixed first time very quickly but next day we had to leave early without hot water, mold in bathroom, don’t think there was a dryer just a washing machine but they had a rack to hang clothes. Couldn’t turn TV off.

• Clive (9/5): Perfect place for a central london weekend. - The location is superb - for Hyde Park, Oxford Street and Tube access. Rooms are comfortable and lounge is great for sitting and chatting. Fully equipped kitchen. Good range of local bars, pubs and restaurants. Care was needed on the steps down to the basement flat.
• William (9/5): A fantastic place to stay for an extended time in London. - A basement apartment in a fantastic location close to Hyde Park and easy reach of the Underground Tube station. The staff were efficient and friendly. Very small second bedroom and bathroom and a lack of apartment cooking utensils. The latter was fixed up quickly and efficiently by the staff.
• Darshna (10/5): Great and very comfortable - Convenience and flexibility for the pick of keys. The host was very quick to respond even at midnight for collections of keys. No teabags and milk to make a hot drink at midnight upon arrival 😔
• Toni (3/5): Very smelly - Location was very good. The smell in the apartment was very bad obviously sewer problem. I had to ask for toilet paper. The place felt damp but was very hot...too hot. No wine glasses. Didn't like the place at all, didn't feel clean. And it was in the basement, steps very dangerous going down. Scaffolding outside building.
• Tuinhof (8/5): Very good - The location is perfect and the host is very friendly. He texted me all the necessary info way in advance and during our stay he daily checked in if we had everything we needed. It was a comfortable stay with lots of privacy and plenty of space to rest after a busy day of sightseeing. Would definitely book again! Not a negative point, but note that his is not a luxury apartment: it's a spacious accommodation that covers your basic needs perfectly.
