• kristy (5/5): - Beautiful spot. Has a lot of potential. Although disappointed about the construction as I already previously booked and paid back in March and description said construction would be down first week of April although was still there. Construction workers start working at 7am. So no sleep ins lol On the day of check out we had no water. The water was shut off for the entire building and we had no warning… we could not shower or even get a drink from the tap. Construction workers start banging at 7am and if you want your privacy you have to have the blinds down or it feels like there just standing there watching you… Also paid for “decoration of room” which was quite expensive and I got 6 small helium balloons and a small box of favourites… Was offered no discount or partial refund for the inconvenience

• Joanne (9/5): Location location location :) - Excellent location. Clean and confortable apartment. Walking distance to beach and cafes. Apartment has everything to ensure a home away from home feel. Loved it
• David (10/5): Quick stop perfect spot. - The view was amazing.we knew about the scaffolding.we had paragliders coming past at our window height about 20 m from the building..the host could not have been more helpfull if he tried.

• Joseph (9/5): Wonderful locations. The Scaffold netting was not great. Will go back when works are done - The location was great, close to cafes and restaurants, opposite the beach. Beautiful view. Clean, nice layout. The netting around the scaffolding took away from the beautiful view. We also saw two Cockroaches in the bathroom area when we got there. The bathroom door got stuck a few times.

• Hayley (7/5): Functional apartment stay in a very convenient location - Great location! Walking distance to the beach and some great local cafes and restaurants. The apartment had an iconic view of Newcastle beach even though our view was blocked by scaffolding which we knew when we booked. It is well worn and could do with some maintenance. A new couch, blinds in the bedroom, a deep clean of the carpet and fixing the missing down light and painting the ceiling above the kitchen would make a great difference.
• BeeOh (8/5): Beach front apartment - Great location, lovely apartment. It had everything we needed. There is an issue with the building being covered in scaffolding, but we were fully aware of this issue, and we could still see the beach. The apartment had a discounted price in accordance.

• Daver (10/5): Had a lovely and a relaxing short break - To start off with the host was very kind. The location was excellent. The apartment was very cozy with all the amenities in it. It was kept very clean. I couldn’t have asked for more with the price it offered. Thank you Luke for giving us an exceptional little break. The access to the key was far back in the letterbox which made it difficult for me to scroll the code.

• Jemima (5/5): - We booked for the view… wasn’t aware of the scaffolding. We didn’t let it dampen the trip but it was quite disappointing and I hope everyone making bookings in the near future is well aware.
• Maher (8/5): Excellent location and value. - Great location, unit is well appointed and the layout great. The only problem we had was accessing the key from the lock box which was difficult due to the position and lack of light. The keybox tumbler is the same colour as the lock box making it difficult to apply the correct numbers.

Would highly recommend and can't wait to go back. Accessing the lock box for keys is a bit difficult as it is very low and numbers are very small and dark. Difficult for older people. But hosts were exceptional

Luke was amazing and so helpful. I would recommend this property to visitors to Newcastle and like me, Novocastrians who just need a little get away. Super comfy !!! there was not a thing I didn't like - other than getting the keys. That was a bit of a journey for me with poor insight in trying to get the lockbox code in correctly but I got there !!!!

Great balcony to hear the roar of the waves. Apartment was in easy reach of coffee shops and restaurants. Would definitely visit again Just a tad fiddly to get the keys. But managed ok. The instructions from the owners were great though

It was very difficult to get key out of letter box as had to get on knees and use phone touch to see the combination. There was other lock boxes on wall. Otherwise perfect!
