- Marisol Q. (8/5): Nice stay at the heart of San Pedro neighborhood - We were given early check in with our little son. The administrator of the property is very nice and helpful. The location is safe and near the San Pedro Mall and nearby properties. Hammocks, and seats outside. There was a little damage in the bathroom sink, but it did not bother us as it didn't affect the water flow. The family room has no tv. It would be a great add. However, there seems to be no space for the TV.

- MICHAEL (2/5): - Other than the below, the place was overall ok … reasonably clean and comfortable. The superficially friendly handyman turned out to be a flat-earther with a violent temper. The guy he hangs out with on the patio was a blobby dope whose first question to me was “what’s your least favorite race?”, and whose favorite word seems to be “libtard.” It might not be management’s fault if his place attracts such notables, but this was my experience. [Edit: the manager's response shows the other guests lied to him. There was no talk about covid, and the ugliness about race and 'libtards' started before I had my 1 beer of the evening. The shouts, threats, profanity all came from those 2, not me. And yes, I know management can't referee all guest disputes, but if I managed a place with long-terms guests who acted so badly, I'd want to know about it.]

El lugar es limpio, tranquilo y bien ubicado, lo que facilitó mucho mi estancia. Las instalaciones son cómodas y el ambiente es muy acogedor, ideal para descansar. Sin duda, una excelente relación calidad-precio. I really appreciated the staff’s hospitality—they were always kind, attentive, and willing to help. The place is clean, शांत, and well located, which made my stay very convenient. The facilities are comfortable and the atmosphere is very welcoming, perfect for resting. Definitely great value for money. No hubo nada que no me gustara. Todo superó mis expectativas, especialmente el desayuno, que es excelente. There was nothing I didn’t like. Everything exceeded my expectations, especially the breakfast, which is excellent.

- Michèle (7/5): - Der Preis ist wirklich sehr günstig und es gibt sogar Kaffe und Pancakes am Morgen. In der Nähe hat es ein absolut tolles Restaurant: Trilogía de sabores. Der Mitarbeiter am Empfang war nicht sehr willkommen heißend. Freundlich aber eher distanziert. Ich habe da ein bisschen die Latino Kultur vermisst. Auch die Lage ist nicht gerade schön und man hört den Verkehr im Zimmer. Aber ich denke deshalb ist es so billig. Es ist jedenfalls sauber und sicher. Und geht gut für eine Nacht.

- Heimy (9/5): - Just spent one night and it was a great value for the money. The location is super convenient, the host was very kind with the kids providing them games. Beds were very comfy! Breakfast was delicious the only thing I would suggest is to maybe offer orange juice for guests who don't drink coffee. Other than that kids loved the big pancake! Maybe just the the kids didn't have an option of a drink for breakfast. That's about it.

- Daya (10/5): Go to Hostel in San José! - Das Hostel ist sehr gemütlich und einladend. Wir haben uns rundherum sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gemeinschaftsräume sind sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Für uns ist das Hostel perfekt für den Aufenthalt in San José, da es in einem sicheren Viertel liegt, der Gastgeber sehr nett ist und tolle Pancakes zum Frühstück zaubert. Vielen Dank, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

- Heindel (10/5): Exactly what i needed. This is my go to place to stay when in San Jose area. - Location is great. Close to all that you may need. Very clean. Friendly staff. There was nothing to dislike.
- Elisabetta Gioffrè (3/5): Rude - The guesthouse is clean and cozy, and breakfast is included (one banana pancake - when I asked which ingredients the pancake contained - a legitimate question, since my friend is allergic to lactose - I was, extremely rudely, told by the owner that he didn’t know as the pancakes came from a bag + no other options were provided). Despite what mentioned above, this was probably the worst guesthouse experience of my life due to how rude and nasty the owner was towards us. He showed zero flexibility at check-in (we mentioned we might arrive a little after 10 pm due to a delay with our bus and were told that reception would be non-negotiably closed + we asked to use a fork from the kitchen at 9:45 pm and were told that it was closed, despite it being an open space - actually, I was screamed at - and that it was impossible to use it). The owner also hid from us a bag we forgot on the counter while checking in - and it magically appeared on the following day. We also turned the light on at 10:15 pm while lining for the bathroom; the owner promptly appeared to switch the light off, muttering “it is closed, please” and leaving us in the dark. A stay characterised by zero flexibility and ultra rudeness. We couldn’t wait to leave.
- Laurine (7/5): - Hôtel très propre, lit confortable, cuisine partagé avec frigo et ustensiles à disposition. Attention, pour cuisiner il y a seulement des plaques de cuisson type camping. Bon petit déjeuner : café et pancake. Place gratuite dans la rue pour se garer. Endroit calme et agréable. Accueil qui laisse vraiment à désirer. Le propriétaire n’est pas agréable et n’a pas le sens du service. Dommage car l’établissement est très sympa mais la froideur se fait sentir et on a pas vraiment envie d’échanger et de demander des conseils… Idem pour le personnel d’entretien.

- Angel (8/5): Good to chill - The staff, the pancakes and there is a peaceful environment. The girl helping is really nice and always willing to help. We needed to do sth around that neighborhood, so the location for us was good! Thanks guys. There are some things in the room to fix, like the lock from the bathroom and the curtains, but nothing that will affect your stay.
