Guest Reviews
- Linda (8/5): - Bra läge. Fräscht och välstädat. Omständigt att hämta nycklarna på annan adress.
Dåligt vattentryck.
- Joanne (4/5): - Location The heating wasn’t sufficient
- Deborah (9/5): Would stay again. - Had to walk to a pick up place 10 minutes away but it took seconds to get the key, no problem at all and I knew that in advance. The apartment was furnished nicely and was quite spacious and equipped with everything we needed. There were also lots of bits in the cupboard to use when cooking, a lovely coffee maker with loads of pods, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, bin bags, loo rolls etc. All the things that are really annoying when you turn up somewhere for a few days and the cuboards are completely bare. The location is amazing surrounded by beautiful streets and around the corner from Daylsford which was a treat and a couple of minutes from Sloane Square. We had a baby in a pram, didnt realise how many stairs there were. Would put us off staying again if we had the baby but otherwise it was fine. 2nd bedroom mattress needs replacing, the topper wasn’t enough to mask how bad it was. We lost an earring and when you start hunting around it could have been cleaner, also the washing machine finished its wash and went on to dryer on hot (we were out, didnt realise) some of the babys clothes were ruined.
- Alexander (7/5): Nice apartment in an excellent neighborhood. Customer service needs immediate improvement. - Location is excellent - close to public transport, stores, bars. Beautiful residential neighborhood.
The apartment itself is spacious (for the price and by London standards, about 800sqft) - 2 bedrooms and a “main” room. A small but well-organized kitchen and even a tiny but nice balcony.
Top (3d) floor - good light and no noise. Customer service bordered on ridiculous. We booked the place for 8 nights during Christmas time. It took me 3 emails and 2 direct phone calls over the 3 weeks preceding our arrival to get instructions how to get keys for the place.
When we got to the place (at 7am), we found that this is a large building (9 flats) without any indication for which of those flats is ours! We dialed the owners again and thankfully someone pick up the phone and we were told the number. Why not mark it in the booking?
In fact, there were no instructions provided for anything at all. Usually, places we get on Bookings have a folder with details. Nothing here. How to operate heat, washing machine, or a stove remained a mystery. Also, the apartment is a walk-up on the top/third floor. There is no mention of that in the booking. We were a rather young couple with a 8yo kid. If we were older or had a baby, going up and down stairs would be a challenge.
In fact, heat emerged as another problem. It was cold initially… so we called owners and left a message wanted to discuss it. No one called back but 1 day later someone (the super?) entered the flat and maxed the heat so it became very hot. We called again and finally got an owner on the phone. She explained that there is an unmarked dial on a wall behind a lamp that can be adjusted. Ya-hoo. Why not leave that in instructions?
Overall, the apartment is well-maintained but is dated. Faucets are old and leaky. Windows - a bit drafty. But everything works and after the heat situation was resolved, it became reasonably comfortable. It “only” took 2 days. Given that we paid 420 pounds per night, we felt that owners could do better.

- Mahmoud (9/5): -
- Sadghjkl (10/5): Mozart Symphony - Location, apartment, balcony It was tricky to regulate the temperature in the apartment, and the 3 flights of stairs are tough with heavy luggage.
- Justin (9/5): -
- Andrew (9/5): - Loads of light throughout
- Christelle (1/5): - The water in the bathroom was not running ?
- jonathan (8/5): Lovely decor, facilities and location and although on the pricey side for one night it was worth it - Location , balcony , comfy beds , coffee machine , decor You need to clearly mark the flat number or name on the booking website and on the doorbell panel outside
- Marcia (7/5): It was all about the location. Couldn’t have found a better location. - Location was perfect. And the apartment had a balcony with table and chairs. Quite useful because weather was record breaking heat. All the faucets dripped. Kitchen faucet incredibly hard to stop the flow. Shelves very dusty.
- Nina (9/5): Lovely flat, perfect for a couple, maybe a bit tight for larger groups. - Great location, lovely terrace. 3rd floor walk up.
- Emily (10/5): Perfect pied a terre for an overnight stay or two. Great location right by Daylesford and Sloane sq - Perfect for a pied a terre overnight stay, impressive coffee pods for the machine, 2 comfortable double beds and 1 shared bathroom with living/dining space, outdoor balcony terrace. It is on the top floor if you are ok with stairs
- Sally (9/5): Definitely recommend for Chelsea / Sloane Square visit. Magical during Christmas! - Amazing location, lovely bright apartment
- Anders (8/5): Very good - The location was amazingly good. So was the service, we got very quick answers on all our questions all times of the day and at all days of hte week and everything was extreemly flexible and professional. Flexible and friendly on storing luggage and getting access immediately when the flat was cleaned even if prior to check-in time. The service could not have been better!!!
- Rob (10/5): One of the best apartments in London and a fantastic place for a family base! - Beautiful apartment in a quiet part of London. Really well kept apartment and building - a great space for an overnight stay or a short break. Literally a 3-4 minute walk from Sloane Square/Sloane Square tube. Highly recommend. The process for collecting the keys. It would be helpful if the host could provide these instructions at point of booking or at least the day before arriving. As it was, we walked to the apartment only to find we couldn’t get in (as we weren’t given instructions earlier). We called the host who responded immediately (really helpful) and were texted the instructions for where to collect the keys. This as a 9 minute walk from the apartment (according to Google maps), so an additional 18 minute round trip. If we had received these instructions earlier we could have collected the keys on the way and this process wouldn’t have felt like the only negative.
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional - Exceptional location
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zaheem (9/5): Clean, spacious apartment in a fantastic location. - The location is excellent - just a few minutes walk from Victoria coach and train stations. The property is very clean and spacious, with a lovely outdoor terrace and a coffee machine in the kitchen. There is ample street parking which is free on the weekend. Communication from the host could have been better. We were not told that the property is a third floor apartment with no lift. Also, the host instructed me to collect the keys from a location that was 'five minutes walk away' but it was actually a ten minute drive away.
- Sara (10/5): Amazing tranquil apartment in prime location - I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful flat in Belgravia! From the moment I walked in, it felt so homely and welcoming, which made settling in effortless. The decor is elegant yet cozy, making it the perfect space to relax after a busy day in London.
The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of London but in such a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. It’s amazing to be so close to everything yet feel like you’re in a tranquil retreat. Whether I wanted to explore the nearby shops and restaurants or hop on the tube to other parts of the city, everything was incredibly convenient.
I can’t recommend this flat enough. It’s truly a hidden gem in one of the best areas of London!
- Julia (10/5): The perfect flat for your stay in London - Our stay was an all-round amazing experience! The flat is in a perfect location as it is incredibly close to everything that we love about london and yet is super quiet and peaceful and has an outside seating area which is rare for central london. You can tell that the place has been newly furnished as everything is in a great state and looks very well put together. Sara was a great host who did everything to make our stay perfect. Thank you Sara we will be back.
- Andrea (8/5): We loved the area. Easily walkable to Buckingham Palace and other spots of interests. - We loved the location of the apartment. Really great area. Beautiful, clean and safe.
The apartment was well set up with a kitchen, dining and living room, plus two bedrooms on the top floor. The bathroom was really nice. The balcony was great and the apartment was modern. The coffee was great. Thank you. My main issue is that we had to pick up the keys and return them at a location that was more than a 10 minute walk from the apartment ( with suitcases). And, then, we had to lug them up several flights as there wasn’t an elevator. I’m almost 60, it wasn’t easy.
The pillows need to be replaced as the feathers keep poking out and bug you. My daughter hated her mattress, but I thought they were fine.
So, minor issues, really, but I think needs to be known.
- Anna (8/5): Great location. Lovely flat but shower not great - Location, balcony and amenities Terrible shower.
- Alfred (2/5): The one property Booking.com should not offer anyone - Area No one to meet us. On phoning the property was told to walk 12 minutes (not 5 as promised) to grocery shop to collect the keys. Never advised beforehand that apartment is on the third floor with no lift. No double glazing. Missing curtains.
- Chris (10/5): Great host and flat, but key collection needs improving ! - The flat is lovely and suited ours needs very well. Our host had some rather messy guests the day before and cleaning took a little longer than she would have liked, but this was communicated well and it was no trouble for us to arrive as they were still finishing. I would stay here again. My only criticism is you have to walk to another location to collect the keys which is half a mile away or approx 10 mins. Not the end of the world, but after a really busy working day I would have rather not had to spend another half an hour (by the time id walked there, waited and walked back before I gained access). You also the have to repeat the process to drop off the keys!
