Guest Reviews
- Paul (9/5): Nice stay for my family! Thank you Harry! - Basic apartment that is very well located for the train stations. Spacious with a responsive host!
- Kate (5/5): Passable -
- Michael (8/5): Was a good spot if your able bodied to get around - It was what I needed Not actual address, around the corner
- Dennis (9/5): Superb -
- Carrie (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (6/5): Pleasant -
- Betty (8/5): Very good -
- Gillean (6/5): fair - comfortable lounge. kitchen had everything you could need. single glazing made it hard to sleep because of the noise. Although most of the flat was very clean and the kitchen was great, the toilet was not.I was fine about the agency needing to come in to do an inspection during our stay but it is not acceptable that they had clearly used the toilet. Leaving left behind cornflakes in the kitchen cupboard is not acceptable. There is no recycling arrangement for rubbish. if recycling isnt possible in the flat it would be helpful to have a note to say this is the case.
- Heather (8/5): Great location. Nice, clean and bright apartment. Clear instructions for key pick up and location. - Great location. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely lounge area and comfortable beds. The sofa bed isn’t a sofa bed but just a large sofa so less comfortable for those if there are six people.
- Jürgen (9/5): Great location and charming appartment - Great location to explore London. Well situated when arriving by train at St.Pancras. Many shops and restos around the corner. Charming appartment, ideal for a family. Easy communication with Harry, owner.
- Mucci (8/5): 2 night stay near King's Crossp - Clean & comfortable accommodation in a very convenient location for our trip. Easy walking distance from King's Cross with plenty of eating options locally.
Communication with Harry was good. No issues with any of the booking process. The outside door was a little tricky to open. It's 2 flights of stairs to the apartment (this didn't bother us), but it may be an issue for some.
- Jez (7/5): OK for location - Good location for the train station. Decent comfort and space. Shabby and needs upgrading throughout.
- Carrie (4/5): Average but owner mr. Harry was helpful to allow us to check in earlier. - Near to King’s cross Very noisy from outside through the night. Toilet paper was given half a roll for 3 pax. Need to buy it and not all the stalls selling them.
- Roksolana (8/5): Very good -
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jewel (9/5): Superb -
- Charlotte (9/5): I had a great time with my friend of 40 years in a comfortable flat, in a good position. - It is well equipped , it had the most comfortable sofa, the beds were very comfortable,it was very clean, very light , a really good size, the en-suite shower, was excellent.
The collection of the keys was effortless.
The owners/ managers were very informative and responsive when contacted.
We really appreciated all the products left in the flat, from shampoo, washing up liquid, cleaning products, dishwashing tablets ect.Very generous.
All the furnishings were of good quality.
Very good lighting.
The heating system is very good. The polyester carpet, the windows , massive draft from ever window, the front door and the hallway, was in such a poor condition, that I got anxious about the state of the flat!
I really feel this needs to be addressed, you are changing premium prices, and as we all know , first impressions are very important, when you are in the service industry.
Dishwasher would not switch on.
I also feel, that your spa bath should be maintained and in working order! Any spa bath needs to be sterilised with a product similar to Milton, used for baby bottles. It was full of limescale and out of order.
And the lack of glass,as supposed to plastic in the wine/ champagne glassware was frankly not acceptable !
The lack of a cork screw, also bad.
Frankly your plastic flowers,in particular the bouquet are unnecessary!
All flats/houses I have rented before have had a folder with useful information about the local area and contact no’s for owner/manager.
Useful info about doctors,local A&E.
I know you provide an internet code, but it would be more than useful to have it written down in the flat, what if you arrive with a phone out of charge?
Also recommendation for local pubs and restaurants ect!
No instructions for operating the tv in paper form and a wireless speaker or digital radio would be a good idea.
The lack of this information, left us unable to use the tv!
The incontinence cover on the mattresses is unacceptable, totally impossible to sleep on, a second cotton fitted sheet would suffice to prevent staining on the mattresses.
The duvets and pillows were cheap polyester fibre and worn out.
The bed covers were too large for the duvets and pillows.
You are too tight in your provision of towels.
There should be at least one hand towel and two large bath towels per person
- Dev (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharmine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jacqueline (8/5): Very pleasant and suits a family - Location was amazing, very comfortable The property could do with double glazing as it was very cold. Shower in bedroom did not produce much hot water
- Robert (8/5): Good location to access city transport, spacious, clean and well equipped. - The apartment was clean and well equipped. It was very convenient for accessing train and tube stations, very spacious. Could have done with an extra pillows for all the beds, there were 2 double beds and the bed for the 5th person was the couch, which if it did fold down to a bed, we could not work it out, it was fine but was not the greatest.
- Anna (10/5): Great comfortable apartment - Brilliant location and really spacious, comfortable apartment
- Rahul (8/5): Very good - Cozy apartment No elevator. Narrow stairs. Difficult to carry heavy bags all the way to the second floor.
- Norman (9/5): Superb - Clean and tidy, good location. Bit of road noise.
- Lynny (7/5): good value stay, easy reach to King’s Cross - good space, large living room, decent showers, well equipped kitchen beds not great. noise from neighbours diy
- Bernadette (10/5): Great location with lots of space - The location is great, not far from King’s Cross and close to shops, pubs and places to get food. The host sends really helpful information about directions and how to pick the keys up. The apartment is spacious and contains everything needed for a comfortable break. At the moment, the apartment downstairs is being renovated- not a complaint but it’s worth being aware of. The builders arrive at 8 and the hammering and banging vibrates through the apartment, if you’ve had a late night it’s quite a dramatic wake up call. Obviously, they’re gone by the evening.
- Hoi (8/5): Very good -
- Kimberley (10/5): Amazing host and amazing location. Definitely recommend and would stay again -
- Med (8/5): Very good -
- Riaz (9/5): Superb -
- Lea (10/5): Such a lovely stay! Highly recommend. - Convenient location, so comfortable - like a home from home, really helpful host, well equipped, having a washing machine is handy! Not a complaint at all, but we thought it could do with some more kitchen bits - wine glasses for example, perhaps some Tupperware to take a picnic.
We struggled with unlocking the doors 🙈, so perhaps a video of how to do it could be useful.
- Britta (9/5): Superb - The location is excellent for sight seeing. The apartment is well equipped with everything we needed. We had enough space for two adults and a teenager, with a nice living room and a fully equipped kitchen where we could prepare and enjoy our meals. The staff was very friendly and supportive. The staircase in the house that leads to the apartment show minor signs of not so well cleaned up renovation works. Inside the apartment, everything is fine.
- Nikita (10/5): Lovely - Very near King’s Cross & St. Pancras station, only 8-10 mins walk. The apartment was so clean & complete, they even provided us lots of body soap, shampoo, dishes washing soap, all of cooking seasonings & a washing machine!
The living room was huge and the bedrooms were nice! Lots of shops & restaurant on the area. The froont door on the first floor was a bit hard to open but it was fine.
- Nicky (5/5): We had a great couple of nights - Location was good. Lots of options for eating out No hot water or heating for first night. Needs a good clean.
- Deborah (8/5): Great location for a group of friends or family to stay - The location & large lounge. It was clean and spacious The stairs corridors leading up to the property are a little shabby/dirty but once in the apartment it’s fine
- Yvonne (9/5): Superb -
