• Benjamin (8/5): - Very cool staff, helpful and lovely atmosphere. We had a private room in a nearby house which was big and confortable. The breakfast wasn't really a breakfast - we were told it was the "American breakfast" day and really only had yogurt and bananas.
• Sara (10/5): Warm stay - Every thing was just perfect, the moment I checked in from the main door, warm welcome staff, peroffedional and friendly staff, the owner is very descent and welcoming, loved all the details from welcoming to cleanliness fun games and gathering at the backyard, it exceeded my expectation and made my vacation very pleasant. Thank you so much would definitely visit again.

• Zayan (10/5): A wonderful and relaxing stay, I would definitely come back again - I really loved the atmosphere of the place, it was calm, cozy, and beautifully designed. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect. Everything felt clean and comfortable, which made the stay very enjoyable. Honestly, everything was great. There’s nothing significant to complain about.

• Sunseeker 9 (9/5): Would definitely stay again. - The owner MO was excellent with his hospitality, great location and facilities. Excellent chillout area to work, eat or read. Good for people who want a quiet location to chillout with other adults of the same mind set. The breakfast was good and authentic. Mo the cleaner was excellent and kept the place spotless. A bit noisy first thing in the morning 7.30 am due to the washing machine being next to the dorm window! should be restricted washing times say after 10am when people are up and out off bed. There was also a "motor noise/tap noise" from the adjacent property in the room that was a bit disturbing. I guess you have to bare some of these problems when in another country!

• Heramb (10/5): A hostel where I felt at home - This is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at. My booking was for one night, but later I extended it to 3 more nights because I was so happy with the hostel. The hostel owners/managers are serious about maintaining a very high standard at this place. It is not the largest hostel, but they have kept a very high level of cleanliness and orderliness. The vibes are cozy and welcoming, like all of Egypt. The location is within walking distance of the beachfront. The breakfast is decent. There are some good cafes and restaurants within 5 minutes walking. Nothing. I liked everything about this hostel.

• Michelle (10/5): Amazing tranquil spot - From the minute I walked in I was welcomed like an old friend. Mo, the owner, showed me around and gave me a cup of tea. The hostel was so clean and in excellent condition. The dorm room was spacious , with a very comfy bed. Plug sockets and a shelf at every bed, lower bunks have curtains. The bathrooms were clean with hot water, plenty of hooks, and space. There’s a shared kitchen, indoor and outdoor seating areas. Mo also has plenty of events like bbqs to enable guests to socialise if they wish. I had the best time at Tranquilo and can’t wait to go back. Nothing

I always leave my reviews until deadline. VERY SAFE FOR WOMAN PLEASE GIRLS LETS WRITE IN OUR REVIEWS PLACES THAT ARE SAFE FOR WOMEN. NOT ONLY IN EGYPT BUT ALL OVER THE WORLD. VERY FRIENDLY WITH ORIENTAL AND PEOPLE FROM SOUTH SIDE OF THE GLOBE. Tranquilo is more of a house than a hostel. Tranquilo is owed by this very lovely couple ( i am soo very soorry for having forgotten yours names. it seems really rude, but it has already been three months... ). Well probably with a newborn baby now. <3 For me it didnt work because I live in hostels. And Tranquilo is not very well equipped if you want to stay long term. As I said it is a lovely place but is it a house, so in the summer the living room was a bit crowded because during the day the air in the room is off. Which happens in most hostels in Egypt. That is the main reason I left. And the lack of space in the kitchen. The owner she is lovely, abstolutely lovely. By experience, staying in a hostel where the female owner looks after the kitchen is a bit problematic. Not a deal if you're just for few days. It is small for summer, But now, there is a lovely garden, with very nice calm. Actually evening vibes in Tranquilo is really nice. They bring lovely Egyptian friends. lovely people. If you are here to dive and be outside I reallly recommed. For all nationalities. Some hostels are really racist against oriental people, and makes me very uncomfortable. Here we are all the same!! When I was there there was this very beautiful, young Egyptian lady as a volunteer. Full with live. We had her birthday, I got her a cake we had an amazing evening. However she and this other very lovely 19 years guest, got together and they were everywhere. It was like a house with children. It made me rwithout quiet space. But once again. That is something that was happening then. Nobody was being rude. Just two girls enjoying life. IT IS JUST TO CARRY ON ABOVE. THERE IS NO MAJOR PROBLEM TO HAVE A WHOLE PARAGRAPH. As I mentioned really recommend. the localization doesnt seem the best. But once you are in Dahab if you want real bedouin Dahab, peace and quiet, best supermakets and real local restaurants this is the place to be. It is in the part of Dahab called Asalah, where is the real part, where locals live, buy and eat. So everything you ask in other parts of Dahab, you will be informed you will find it in Asala. Gluten free stuff in the supermarkets, lovely cafes. Best sharwarma. Well we all know that the best places are where the real locals are. And that is Asalah. And also there are more "european" style cafes. The bestestestestestest fish restaurants are there Miami and Daewich. Dont be silly and pay overpriced food in lighthouse. Lighthouse is the very touristic part of Dahab. The best snorkelling points is five minutes walking eels garden. And Dahab is a small city walking away distance from everywhere, full with bicycles to rent. Even renting bicycles its cheaper on this side than the other areas. As I mentioned, over there is real people. BTW the owner ( the guy ) He is an amazing photographer. He has a very relevant documentary project with sinai bedouins not publish, but worthy to stop and look at some pictures, and chat to him to learn about their way of living. It is not a must, but in Tranquilo we all end up living our shoes outside the main door. Which makes an ambiance much much cleaner. The lovely volunteer didnt clean once the floor of the common areas. And yet it was kind of clean. All those matters were addressed and being taking care of. LAST BUT NOT LEAST. IT IS NOT A DIVING CENTER. JUST HOSTEL. ONE SHOULD AVOID AT ALL COSTS HOSTELS THAT ARE ALSO DIVE CENTERS. THEY ARE MAINLY CATERED FOR THE PEOPLE PAYING FOR DIVING. • Tomomi (10/5): 最高！ - 静かで清潔！ビーチやレストラン等からも500メートルほどで遠くありません。 朝食もエジプト風とシリアルのを交互にだしておられました。 水、紅茶は無料、コーヒー等他のものは有料で提供されていました。 スタッフも実直な感じで好感が持てました。アクティビティの提案がありました。 ダハブで3箇所に滞在しましたが、こちらが一番でした。空き具合から2泊しか出来なかったのがとても残念です。次もこちらを利用します。 洗濯機が壊れているとのことでした。 また、シャワールームでの洗濯は禁止でした。 水着等の濡れた衣類を干す外のスペースが少なかったです。（室内だと水滴で床が濡れてしまうため）

• Iryna Muliavko (9/5): - That's a small hostel, where everyone knows each other and it makes it easy to make friends. Clean, well organized, curtains on beds, many areas to socialise. There is a cat and a dog, who live outside. The work space is basically in the living room, but I never had problems while working there, because people were not loud. Internet is typical for Dahab, 8-20mbps. AC works fine, you have a remote control in the room. The dorms are spacious. The breakfast was very light some days. Not many events are organised.

• jiaxue (10/5): - Everything is perfect. The manager creates a clean and cozy environment every day. The bed is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is simple yet good. Cooking by yourself is also convenient. It’s a quiet place with just several rooms, so two shared bathrooms are totally acceptable. Nice people and nice place. Hope to come back someday.

They listened to me and my partner needs and acted promptly to make our stay more comfortable. I'll definitely come back. Be prepared for slow internet but this is for all Dahab. Plan ahead by downloading stuff you need in advance.

• Yana (7/5): Good - Easy check in, clean hostel. At the second night I asked to book the same room but it wasn't available so I took a night in the dorm. I was alone there all the night, and the bed that was prepared for me was a bit shorter, cause I am a tall person. So in the middle of the night i moved to another empty bed. I was woken up by the worked Mo at 8am and he told me that I need to lay more 50% for this bed! And I was there completely alone! He also told me that I should lay for some chocolate thay I ate, and it wasn't truth. So I was a good beggining in the hostel, but with a very bitter end. Of course I paid the money. So in the end the night in dorm cost me the same as a private room.

Common toilets were not always clean and there is constently a lack of toilet paper. It needs more and constant maintenance.

• Christian (9/5): Superb - This is probably the most chill lowbudget place in Dahab. I absolutely loved it and will definitely come back. Thanks to Mo and Ziad! Towels are extra but this is really a minor issue.
• Natalie (1/5): Bad - Nothing. It wasnt clean, it wasn't even finished - there was a hole with rubble on the staircase. The spaces were much smaller than they appear in the photos, the dorm room was extremely cramped, not room to open your bag, the top bunk so high up, the tiny locker in the corridor and they don't look secure at all. No key for the room or for the hostel front door which is always left open so completely insecure. Not tranquillo at all, there's a building site directly to the other side of their garden, and the night I stayed there they used the, very small, communal space for an external event so I didn't have anywhere to sit and work and there were lots of non guests walking in and out with the door wide open. The breakfast was just some old cereal and fruit left out with flies on it. The only places they recommended us to go were very touristic places. I am so glad I decided before arriving to cancel the week stay I had booked and do one night first to check how it was. I left after one night with 2 other people who also had only stayed there one night and wanted to leave. Fortunately I found a much better place to stay and even at a better price.

Limited space in the room, beds are too near to each other in the small room. I managed to slide my suitcase under the bunk but some people in the same room had to put the bags outside.

• Brydie (10/5): Super sweet 😋 - Sooo lush! Beautiful hostel and great price, really good breakfast, good location close to everything. Ziad was amazing, so chill, helpful and friendly. I wouldn't look elsewhere in Dahab 🙂 super clean facilities and nice decor, spacious etc. Couldnt get any better! The ac in the room was super great but the top bunk was weirdly hot 😅 maybe a little roof fan would help clear the warm air that gets pushed to the top, but no biggie, otherwise its perfect and definitely still worth it, i doubt you would find somewhere better for the price.
