• Abhinav Sanghi (9/5): Loved the hospitality and the convenience. Will surely love to stay here again - Location, amenities, maintenance of the property was to the best standards. Someone was provided to help us with the luggage both on our arrival and departure which was a big help given the flight of stairs up. Being an open floor plan the privacy aspect for larger groups especially for bathing was something that required work arounds.

• Amber (9/5): Great place. Highly recommend. - Gorgeous space. Excellent location. The stairs where a lot both into and within the apartment. The loft bed was very hot and I had to sleep in the living room due to the warmth upstairs.

The host and staff were kind enough to help with everything, and the feedback was quick. It was a clean facility and a great time. I would like to visit again next time. It was a bit difficult because my parents were old, but they later adapted.

Loved the loft setup for our family of 5. We all appreciated the chocolates provided on the kitchen table and looking out the balcony onto the town and Mount Pilatus. Loved it!

Clean, high end apartment set within a very old building with great character. Everything within the property was quality from the beds to the appliances. Travelled with our kids 7 and 11 … they loved the uniqueness of it.

The penthouse itself is stunning offering a luxurious stay with all the amenities you could ask for. The beds are exceptionally comfortable and even the sofa is a great place to relax. Overall, a perfect stay! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top tier experience. Its just the flight of stairs

• Alan (10/5): Short family stay - Centrally located in the old city. Wonderful views from the windows. Our hosts provided a great selection of recommended restaurants which we tried out. Kids loved being so central and not having to walk long distances.
• Jessica (7/5): Overall, we were happy with the location - Location and cleanliness. It was also convenient to have a refrigerator, kitchen, dishwasher, and washer and dryer for our extended stay No elevator and so accessing the fourth floor with multiple flights of stairs every time we went in or out became burdensome, especially when navigating heavy pieces of luggage. Also, because it is located in the old town section of Lucerne, you cannot get taxis or Uber to your door. It would’ve been good to know that. We had to drag our very heavy suitcases across cobblestone streets upon our arrival and departure. Also, because of being located in old town, trash service is tricky. We never did figure it out and wound up having multiple bags of trash build up in the apartment during our stay. Lastly, It is important for guests to know that there are no walls enclosing the three ”bedrooms”. It is an open air loft and so as a family of four, we found it difficult to sleep because of noise and lack of privacy. We did not realize that was the case from the pictures online.
• Alay (10/5): Hosts are so kind, generous and loving. They help us in all possible ways during our stay. They gave us good recommendat - Property is amazing. It has everything you need for your stay in Lucerne. Very central location, close to everything. Located in a beautiful part of the town.

Hosts are very responsive and helpful. There is no lift. There was no mention of the stairs in the booking description. There are quite a couple of flight of stairs (steep) to get to the penthouse entrance and then the penthouse is 3 levels - was unfortunate for older guests after a long day sightseeing/walking. Extremely difficult to bring multiple bags up/down. However assistance is offered by hosts. Lighting in penthouse upstair levels is quite poor near the bathroom. Light was not working in main dining room. Could benefit from additional table or storage areas for belongings.

• Mohan (9/5): Superb - Loved the location. The house was neat, clean and modern. Attentive hosts. All facilities work perfectly in the house. The walk up the stairs to the penthouse is a hike for older people.
• Marnie (10/5): We loved this authentic apartment with a taste of old Luzern mixed with the new and modern city. - The location of this spacious apartment is superb, as it is located right in the heart of Old Town, just above what was the historic fish market. It was magical to look out each day at the square and enjoy views of the mountains as well. The Coop (grocery) is located within a one minute walk (basically across the street) which was very convenient. The covered bridge is also right around the corner, as are other historic sites, shops and markets. Truly, we felt it was the perfect location...The apartment is stunning and the beams and exposed stone and huge windows and good lighting made for a cozy and happy experience. In the evening, hearing the church bells on the hour and looking up through the skylights was like being in a dream. We are a family of 6 and we and our four teenagers slept comfortably between the beds and sofa that were available. The kitchen is well stocked (we ate in a couple of times with no issues) and if there was anything we needed, our hosts were quick (very!) to respond. The washer AND DRYER (highly unusual in Europe) were in top condition. Additionally, our hosts offered fabulous recommendations on local restaurants and sites and we were pleased with their suggestions. There is quite a walk-up to this apartment, as it is on the top floor, but at both our arrival and departure, Alina and Yannick (hosts) offered us help getting luggage in and out. If you are looking for a stay where there is a lot of privacy from other guests, this might not be your spot. As a family, we were fine, but we definitely had to coordinate on bathing/bathroom times because there is only one shower. The sleeping area is essentially one open loft, so you really do need to be comfortable with your fellow travelers in intimate/close quarters.

• Nina (10/5): Best location and kindest owners - The location is perfect, it is in the heart of the old town. The owners are so kind and hospitable, they have very good tips and they really pay attention to the quality of your stay.
• Pakhang (10/5): Everything is excellent. - Penthouse’s design is excellent. The penthouse is clean and tidy. We sleep very well in every night. The kitchen is fully equipped and we can cooked all the time. Yannick is very helpful and provides useful information to us. No elevator , which is not friendly to elderly, as it was built for around 400 years ago. Yannick provides help for us to pick our luggage to the penthouse.

Having traveled extensively throughout Europe and stayed in various accommodations, I can confidently say that this was an unparalleled experience. Situated in the heart of the city, just a stone's throw away from the Chapel Bridge and Lucerne's train station, the location couldn't have been more perfect. Surrounding the penthouse are an array of restaurants, shops, and a convenient minimarket. The penthouse itself is a masterpiece of design, seamlessly blending classical European style with natural elements and modern furnishings. While the building may be old, the apartment has been recently renovated, boasting everything one could desire in terms of newness and functionality. Above all, what truly sets this stay apart is the remarkable hospitality of the owners. Their responsiveness to every query, coupled with their eagerness to offer personalized recommendations for exploring Lucerne, made for an unforgettable experience. Their attention to detail was second to none, evident in the thoughtful touches such as an array of cooking herbs, an abundance of tea and coffee pods, and a delightful welcome chocolate gift. Thank you once again for providing such a remarkable stay experience!

• Tymofiy (10/5): Fabulous apartment in heart of Lucerne - Myself and my family were the first guests, and I must say that was one of the best experiences we had traveling for years and years. Owners' attention to detail and readiness to help were truly remarkable, and we had our questions and requests addressed 100% Apartment otself is definitely sth that you will want to share with yiur friends, as it has stunning view of old town streets and roofs and is finished in really non-trivial way, combining all modern amenities with filling you're staying in really historic and in the same time cozy place. We also appreciated the kitchen equipment, being able to cook nice dinner for whole 4 adults and a kid, you will have every tool you need. Location-wise it's as central as you vlcan be, but atbthe same time coop is right around the corner and central station just 10mins walk. And ofc Lucerne is probably most beatiful city in Switzerland! Overall fabuluous experience and can't recommend enough for anyone looking for a money and time well-spent.
