• caron (8/5): if you like opening the windows for fresh air, this is not the place for you.. otherwise go when the weather is cooler a - the location was very convenient and the apartment was very clean and the bed was comfortable. it’s very close to outdoor food market which is fantastic and a bakery where all the goods are handmade and desc by grocery options. it was darker than i had thought it would be and much noisier than i had anticipated…

• Roberta (8/5): - The location is excellent and the apartment has good aspects such as a comfortable bed and a great shower. However, the glass door is a serious problem. A strong light enters the room during the night, making it impossible to sleep properly. A place to stay should guarantee basic comfort, including darkness for sleeping, and this is currently not the case. This issue needs to be fixed, as it significantly impacts the stay.
• Pavlos (9/5): Excellent location, nice clean apartment - Loved the location, it is a very safe area. Walking distance to Acropolis and the metro. The apartment is very clean and the bed very comfortable. Very clear instructions from the hosts about hot water, house rules and how to get access to the property. There are lovely coffee places for breakfast, nice restaurants, pharmacies, supermarkets on the same street. Nothing really, if I have to be picky I would say there was some noise from neighbours at times but that did not bother us as it was never late at night.

• plouton (5/5): Don't let valuable things when you are away. - Right at the centre of Kookaki and very close to Subway. The doors to the apartment do not inspire security at all. Last night of my stay, for no reason I came back and the doors (even to my room) were open.Fortunately nothing was missing. Messaged the owners and told me that maybe there was a power cut (not good answer). I was lucky
• Charlie (9/5): Incredible value for money. Highly recommend. - The apartment was fantastic. It was as just as it was in the pictures. It’s situated in a very nice part of Athens. Barely a 10min walk to the acropolis. Not to mention there were fantastic coffee shops in the area. The bed is very comfortable too. I slept very well here. They even had Netflix on the tv which was nice. If I was going back to Greece I’d absolutely stay here again. The staff are very friendly and were quick to reply to me whenever I had a question. There’s only two small negatives: - The upstairs neighbours were super loud, but when I contacted the staff they seemed to quieten down. - Even on the warmest temperature the shower was cold. And(not a big deal) but the instructions for getting into the apartment could have been a bit clearer. I even let in other tourists who clearly had the same problem.

• Matthis (9/5): Citytrip Athens - The location was perfect, nice area with a lot of cafés and restaurants. Walking distance to Plaka, Akropolis was 15-20min. Which was perfect to do. The space at the toilet was a little bit small. There is a lot of noice coming from outside. But you can’t complain about this while staying in the center of a big city.

One night there was loud music from the apartment upstairs, and the following 2 days we heard a baby crying from next door. We understand that this can be common in older buildings. Our main difficulty, however, was the internet connection. Since we needed to work from the room, reliable internet was essential. Especially in the evenings, the connection was extremely slow—we were unable to open even a single webpage, including this platform. As a result, we had to move out for the weekend to be able to work properly. When we contacted the property, we were informed that they had checked and found no issues with the internet.

We contacted their service, which was polite and welcoming, but efficiency could improve. They said they’ll send someone over in 24 hours, which was a quarter our stay, so we just let it go.
• Bulut (5/5): I wouldn't recommend. - The location was convenient. It's quite spacious. There was a nice balcony -- though you can't open the shades and the neighbours can get mad at you for talking at the balcony during the silent hours. The door didn't close properly -- I came back to an open door 3 times, twice when I shut it and once when a technician they sent had shut it. There was a stench at the bathroom. There was also quite a lot of noise from the neighbours -- sound isolation isn't great anywhere in the city.

• Heather (10/5): Excellent stay for my first solo trip to Athens. The balcony and spacious apartment were comfortable and in the perfect - Excellent location with ability to walk everywhere I wanted for a four day stay! I also liked the self check in feature, and the fact that it was in a locked building. The elevator was great because I brought my suitcase and the hot water stayed HOT! Nothing! Thank you for a wonderful stay
• Guest (6/5): - El apartamento es cómodo. El acceso es súper fácil y nos encantó no necesitar llaves en ningún momento. Está a 15 min de la Acrópolis y 25 de Plaka. Buena ubicación. La comunicación en todo momento fue fluida y el anfitrión muy atento en todo momento. De hecho tuvimos un inconveniente y estuvieron muy pendientes de resolverlo. El primer día no tuvimos agua caliente; salía tibia. Fue una decepción porque llegamos mojados y con frío. Pero he de decir que la respuesta fue muy rápida y por suerte lo pudimos resolver rápido. Lamentablemente, había olor a cloaca en el lavabo y al estar en la entrada, en cuanto entrábamos se podía sentir. No fue agradable. También nos ofrecieron que fuera alguien a revisarlo pero como ya era nuestro último día no tuvo sentido. La iluminación blanca no es de nuestro agrado.

• Faranak (6/5): a nice stay - The check in instructions were very clear, the location was great, close to transport and the main sites were in walking distance. It felt like a hipster area with cute cafes and good places to eat. It was also quiet and so a nice getaway from plaka. There was a horrible sewage smell in the room from the bathroom window. The pillows were really big and hard and gave me neck pain by the end.
• Tamar (9/5): - Modern appartement op een goeie locatie. Goed bed en mooie badkamer. Je kan overal makkelijk heen lopen! Er zijn supermarkten en restaurantjes in de buurt. Neem oordoppen mee als je niet tegen geluid kan, je zit aan de weg en het is niet mega goed geïsoleerd.
• Anonymous (9/5): Central location - Location was an excellent location for a couple exploring Athens - within walking distance of the Acropolis Museum, Parliament, many local tavernas and a wonderful gelato ice cream parlour! Room and facilities were very basic, but clean and worked as a base. Had a maintenance issue with the bathroom which was fixed straight away - thank you.

• Facundo (8/5): - Es un departamento reciclado dentro de un edificio viejo. Está bien, pero no es ningún lujo. La ubicación creí que era mejor pero en ese barrio no hay tanto movimiento. Mejor es Plaka o monastiriki. No es barato para lo que es.

• Karavokiri Georgia (9/5): - Η τοποθεσία πολύ καλή τοποθεσία 15 λεπτά περπάτημα από το μουσείο της ακρόπολης 24 για το σύνταγμα ,όλα δίπλα και το μετρό της σιγκρου φις 5 λεπτά περπάτημα από το σπίτι , όλα τέλεια καθαρό όλες τις παροχές που θα χρειαστείς , και άνετο με βοηθητικούς χώρους για τα πράγματα σου , μόνο η ηχομόνωση ίσως είναι ένα αρνητικό ακούς μέχρι και τα βήματα από το πάνω διαμέρισμα γιαυτο δεν βάζω 10 , 9 με τόνο άριστο !!

• Kelly (8/5): Very good - BY FAR, the most comfortable bed we had in all of Greece! That alone would make me rebook here. Lol! The building looks a bit sketchy (although we never felt uncomfortable in any way!), and it was very dark when exiting the elevator, but the room itself was very nice (Queen room). There is a market about a block away so we used the kitchen, which was well equipped, to make breakfast each morning. It was a short walk to most of the major sites, and we liked being in a "real" neighborhood rather that right in the middle of all the touristy spots. Communication with the hosts was easy and very responsive. Also there is a laundry one block over which came in handy!

The bathroom had a nice shower, very powerful. Location is great, close to metro station and walking distance to the Acropolis and other sights. We had a slight issue with the door opening but the customer service was very attentive and responded to us immediately.

• Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional - They layout and design were very nice - practical use has been considered; everything we needed was available, but nothing was in the way. The bed and linens were particularly comfortable. Everything was very clean. For our purposes, this was an excellent location - we walked and used the metro. There are lots of great restaurants nearby and the neighborhood is nice. We booked knowing that we were choosing a street-facing apartment, therefore noise was expected (something to keep in mind).

(the acropolis is in walking distance and there is a metro station nearby) The only thing is that the apartment is on a main street so there is a little noise at night. • Laurablg (8/5): Really good room in a avarage neighbourhood. - The room is really good. Good size, air conditioning, mosquito net, modern decor, very clean, smart tv, balcony, lift in the building. The neighbourhood is a bit meh. Couple of blocks down it starts to be nice but we nearly got mugged at the metro station. If I’d go back to Athens I wouldn’t stay in this neighbourhood again.

• Jasko (10/5): Exceptional - We had a great stay at the Koukaki Athens condo. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the city. The condo was very clean and well-maintained by the management company. We also appreciated the convenience of the luggage room. The only downside was that the AC was locked to a minimum temperature of 23°C, which we wish could have been set lower for more comfort.
• Alena (9/5): A lovely apartment in a great location - The place is located in a very nice area, easy to find and access. All major sights are within 20-30 mins walk. The apartment is nice - the bed was comfortable, the AC worked well, the kitchen was nice even though we didn't use it. The bathroom had a nice shower, very powerful. Not a reflection on the property itself, but not being able to dispose of tissues in the toilet is a feature I find difficult to get used to.
• Brian (9/5): A very good small apartment for a couple who don't mind walking a bit. - The roominess of the place. The bathroom was exceptionally clean and well maintained. There was plenty of hot water in an excellent shower stall. The unit itself has everything a couple could want for a short stay in Athens. The hosts were very responsive to every message sent and that was very much appreciated. WiFi worked well. The rating is really 8.5. The location was further away from the center than I thought and that made the price a little bit high to my mind, but maybe I don't know market values in Athens at the moment. The city was certainly choked with tourists - mainly those apparently coming off those detestable cruise ships - by May 20th. The street outside, Dimitrakopoulou, was somewhat noisy through late night, especially with loud motorcycles gunning through it. I didn't quite understand the three levels of security, but possibly that's because I don't understand conditions in Athens well. The place was definitely secure, however, and there was far more to like about it than not. The rating is really 8.5.

• Vesna (10/5): Nice double bed studio flat located in a neighbourhood close to Acropolis and the city centre. - Nice double bed studio flat located in a neighbourhood close to Acropolis and the city centre. Well connected by metro and bus lines. Facing the side of the building, hence quiet at night. Comfortable bed, good quality bed linen and very clean. The wi-fi connection works well as does the AC. The check-in went smoothly with codes provided before the check-in time. The studio seems to be carved out of what used to be a bigger flat to create two individual units that share a common entrance/hallway. Digital entry key is provided for the main entrance and the flat, making things safer and simpler. The kitchen (quite big) is equipped with essential appliances including a stove, under-top fridge and a coffee machine. Crockery and cutlery are supplied for two people. If you intend to cook (which I doubt would be the case in a studio and in a city famed by its good cuisine) one would need all the cooking ingredients including salt, paper, oil etc... even kitchen rolls. The studio is basically run as a hotel accommodation with very polite, fast and detailed response from its management and reminders of the house rules and the check-out time. An earlier check-in (of about 2 hours) was also possible at a cost of €15 which I did not need in the end. I definitely recommend this accommodation if you come to Athens for a short stay.

(usualy in the past this was granted for free if requested) View from balcony not great. (simply a inner courtyard - not really visible on pictures) Building and apartment poorly soundproofed. Could hear everything from guests of other apartment. :(

• Nicholas (9/5): Perfect location for visiting Athens - Perfect location for visiting Athens, the neighborhood is fun and easily walkable to many top sights and museums, with transport links across the city. We found the apartment comfortable if small, which was fine for a few days at this price point. Door codes were easy and the management company was very professional. They were actually too professional. There's no personal touch here. We received two coffee pods for two people for three mornings, there's no salt and pepper etc. They also were not very helpful when I asked for advice for where to park, just saying "find a spot on the street" which, fair, but there are streets in the area that are much better than others. I would advise not bringing a car, but if you have one for a longer road trip like us, just circle the residential streets close to the base of the hill until you find a spot.

• Peter (7/5): Good - Good value for money. We liked the location, it's probably best suited for younger people who don't mind occasional noise as the area can get quite busy in the weekend evenings. Fully equipped kitchen was nice. Easy access. The luggage room was convenient. The hot water in the building is primarily provided by solar panels. For two days during our stay, it was cloudy in the morning so there was no hot water running in the shower. The first day I had to shower in cold water. The second day I got annoyed and called the property manager and it turned out that the issue could be easily solved by pushing a button on the control panel and the boiler turns on (you still have to wait around 30 mins). I wish I was told this prior so that I didn't have to shower in cold water the first day. The balcony is very small and overlooks the inner yard which was a construction zone during our stay. The apartment is not very well-lit. Other than these we had a pleasant stay.
• Ievgen (10/5): Central apartment not far from the Akropolis & busy central streets. Lots of bars, little shops etc. - Self check-in, clear instructions. Signs on doors and so on, well thought on every point of the offer. I didn't have to ask for anything, even the boiler instructions were there, it is not hard to find that "X" number on the tumbler switchboard. 10 minutes and voila - the water is hotter than lava, just for me. I like the placement a lot, it is full of cafes, it is safe and buzzing with life even during the week day. Next to Akropolis, next to the city center. A couple of supermarkets nearby plus the Wolt delivery guys take 10-20 minutes to deliver, fresh Greek stuff - I don't have that luxury back at home. While it is an old building, the makeover is impressive, doesn't feel like an old building. New fridge, modern shower, the TV screen, a coffee machine! And the balcony was facing street (not for everyone) but I love those loud lively streets around! What else... The AC might save your life one day. As it isn't a season yet, I had to enable the 'heating' regime a couple of times. Everything is great, thanks guys! Nothing really. Pay attention to Sundays - nothing really works, cafes and stuff. The burger joint nearby is at times open till 2 am which ain't for everyone, they like 50Cent and loud american hip-hop. I love it but if you happen to need a good time off - beware. I would take the ear plugs at least. Again, I enjoyed it. Every minute of it.

• Hana (10/5): Exceptional - Koukaki is a great location for long term stays as there are several supermarkets, other kinds of shops and many restaurants, while it's in walking distance to Akropolis and other important sights and close both to metro and trams. There is a park on a hill nearby with scenic views as well. The street is very noisy because of trolleybuses, so opening the window at night was pretty much impossible, but the apartment itself was amazing and had air conditioning, so it was not a big problem.

• Claire (10/5): Spotlessly clean studio apartment in a great part of town - This studio apartment had plenty of space for two, was nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. It had lots of plug sockets and lighting options, a balcony and a good shower. The location is really good, close to a host of neighbourhood bars, restaurants, shops and pharmacies, and not in a massively touristy area, but only a short walk away from the Acropolis etc. It's also well sound-proofed (although we still wore earplugs at night to avoid the usual Athens traffic noise). Our query about how to store luggage was answered straight away. Would definitely stay here again! The hot water wasn't always very hot (although it was never cold).
