• Julia (4/5): Det är ett hostel som har mycket potential och jag hoppas detta inte tas som kritik utan mer som feedback, det krävs int - Jag gillade att det låg nära stranden samt att man fick möjlighet att träffa andra som reser! De höll också i en väldigt god barbeque! Tyvärr blev jag besviken på flera saker. Det var flera volontärerer som var på hostelet men det kändes som att det bara var en som jobbade medan resten behandlade stället som deras hem. De var inte sociala med gästerna, det kan delvis bero på språkbarriärer men det hade varit trevligt om folk åtminstone hälsar på varandra. Ibland kändes det som att man trängde sig på, trots att man var en betalande gäst! Många av ytorna var också rätt smutsiga och nedgångna.

• Luana (9/5): - The hostel has a few social areas that make it easy to meet people and some social activities like group hikes. Special thanks to the volunteers who were keeping the place nice and tidy - Gabriel, Isabella, Abriu, Rodrigo + everyone else who was around! One of the beds in the female-only dorm was smelling disgusting, I guess cause it shares a wall with a toilet. It was all clean but the smell was impregnated there making it really unpleasant.

Os staffs e voluntários são muito parceiros, me senti em casa e acolhida. Rola muita atividade tanto pra quem curte o dia com surf, yoga, trilhas quanto pra quem gosta da noite nas baladinhas e até lual. Indico para viajantes solo, lugar de boas trocas de energia e experiências. Gabriel, Jamil, Natasha, Tâmara, Hurik, Isa, Abru, João, Jordana obg pelas comidinhas, risadas e histórias. Só vão!!!
• Florentyna (1/5): The worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in - Close to the beach, apart from this horrendous in every single aspect, do not stay here!!! This is hands down the worst place I’ve ever stayed in, and I’ve travelled a LOT (even the tiny room in Philippines without windows I once slept in seems better now). First of all, my data got stolen from their system before I came, and I had been constantly messaged by scammers so I had to block my credit card as someone also tried to make a purchase using my details. We booked this hostel as we wanted to socialize with other people, and the private room for 4 nights cost us almost as much as a nice hotel, but we thought lets try as it seemed fun and we wanted to do some activities. This hostel looks NOTHING like on the photos. As we found out, it’s managed by volunteers so also no real management on site. It’s dusty, ran down, and not nice at all. The AC in our room looked like from 1995 and it did not switch on, so basically no AC. Cool we can live with this (somehow). Towels - you need to pay to rent them and they made me itch all over, so I paid and then bought a new one. Not cool, but can live with this too. The water pressure in the shower is 0. I had to put water from the sink into a bottle to wash my hair, so if you have long thick hair you will spend at least 20 minutes to wash the shampoo out. We went to the beach that’s very close and forgot about all of this, but when we came back we wanted to cut some fruits and found out the kitchen is dreadful. Dirty dishes in the sink, the sponge seemed to be 10 years old, no washing up liquid. We then came to our room to find 5 cockroaches crawling around. They escaped but later hid in the corners and one flew right at me when I was reaching for my stuff. Not not cool and our last straw. We lasted two days and moved out, paid way less for a very nice hotel in Campeche and had lovely stay (and no cockroaches). This place also didn’t offer any activities for those 2 days until its sister hostel picked it up. We went to a salsa party and surprise, had a dreadful experience again.

• Florent (7/5): - If you intend to book a private room, you can read my review, otherwise you can ignore :) I had booked a private room for 6 nights there. Before coming, I had asked if I could get a room far away from the common area, because I'm sensitive to noise. At that time the hostel only wrote me they respect quite hours (which was actually true, between 22h30ish and 8h, where they close the kitchen), though I wasn't explicitly told that the room was actually next to the common area. I was given a room which you directly access from the main kitchen, and whose window gives on the laundry area, so it had no privacy. I asked if it's possible to get a refund for half of the days I stayed there, but they didn't accept it. Even with this unfortunate experience, I must tell that I really liked my stay there. For the people I met, which were super nice, and the nice social vibe of the hostel. Also they respected quiet hours and it was not a party place at night, which I really valued. The location is amazing, in Barra da Lagoa, not far from the beach where you can surf. The kitchen had all amnesties, so it was easy to cook a meal. In general, I would still recommend the place! For the private room, the lack of privacy. They don't have the most amazing outdoor space I've ever seen in hostels, but for few days it was ok.

• higor (10/5): - Experiência excepcional! Nunca havia ficado em hostel. O ambiente é muito agradável, confortável e silencioso durante a noite. As camas com cortinas garantem uma privacidade excelente, e tanto os hóspedes quanto os funcionários respeitam muito os horários de silêncio. ​A flexibilidade no check-in e check-out facilitou muito a minha logística. Toda a equipe da recepção é extremamente gentil, com destaque para o Jamil e, especialmente, o Gabriel. O Gabriel é o ponto fora da curva: um exemplo de profissionalismo, atento a cada detalhe no hostel para garantir o bem-estar de todos. Mais do que um excelente profissional, o cara vira seu amigo de verdade. Recomendo demais! Não tive pontos negativos.

• Gi ii (9/5): - La ubicación es genial para hacer playa, muy cerca del céntrito de barra, de la playa q es muy linda, del super, muy seguro para caminar sola.. Que las camas tengan cortina. Duchas con agua caliente siempre. La gerente y los voluntarios muy amables, en especial mención a Gero y Abril dos copados. Es un hostel con 3 sedes en diferentes partes de barra, donde si o si tenes q tomar uber para llegar a cada una y en este que es el Beach (después esta Riverside y vibe da ilha) no se armaban planes, hay un chat en común para los 3 hostels y siempre había q ir a otro, xq se armaban las previas o salidas desde ahi, obvio q depende también la onda q se arme con los huéspedes pero me hubiera gustado que en este haya mas planes para integrar y proponer esa iniciativa de grupo... quizas también depende del voluntario que este de turno q se encargue de eso.. Las camas de tres pisos, un tema, a mi me toco la del medio por suerte xq me quede 18 dias en habitación femenina de 6, pero la de arriba de todo las q iban no les gustaba y para las de bajo se mueve toda la estructura q te despertaba cada vez q se movía o bajaban.. nada grave pero es un detalle..

• Fernando (9/5): Vivência e observações sobre o Hostel Nômades - Gostei das pessoas do Hostel, tanto os voluntários e trabalhadores como os hóspedes. A vibe do pessoal é muito boa e são educados. Por exemplo, em relação à hora do silêncio, todos respeitavam. Poderia ter mais xícaras e pratos. O piso do banheiro poderia ser mais limpo e seco.. Seria interessante ter uma luz em cada cama e sem espaço entre a parede e a cama para os objetos nao caírem.

Estrutura antiga, mal conservada, banheiros precários e quase sempre sujos, cozinha com uma geladeira apenas e que não comporta comida de todos os hóspedes.. demais itens da cozinha compartilhada também em péssimo estado de conservação, enferrujados ou velhos demais.

Para trabalhar do quarto não tem boa estrutura, o wifi não funcionava no quarto, a iluminação era bem ruim e a tomada longe da mesa (precisei pedir uma extensão). O ar condicionado do quarto não funciona direito e faz muito barulho.

Com ctz indico e se tiver a oportunidade de voltar, voltarei. Um obrigado especial para Nicolle e também para toda equipe...vcs são top. Gostei de tudo.... E por vacilo meu sumiu 100 reais da minha carteira, faz parte, nada pra negativar a experiencia.

Se organizan actividades como paseos de senderismo a diario (no pude participar). Está muy cerca del principal mercado de Barra da Lagoa que tiene lo básico que uno puede precisar. Las literas de 3 pisos pueden sentirse agobiantes si las habitaciones están al full de capacidad.

• Monica (7/5): - A localização é boa, perto da praia… O quarto feminino tinha um cheiro de esgoto bastante forte e como eu estava em uma cama baixa, tinha bastante sujeira entre a cama e a parede!
• Samuel (3/5): Affordable option but lacks general hygiene - Location is not too far from the beach and there is a nice co-working area that we enjoyed using. Upon arrival the staff offered us different tour possibilities and a group WhatsApp for arranged activities - a good idea. Was also very cheap. There was a very clear lack of hygiene at the hostel. We stayed for a total of 3 nights and it was evident that the upstairs bathroom was not cleaned once during our stay. It had a very strong smell of urine and was no better than a public toilet. Toilets downstairs were cleaned but there was hair in the plug of the sink for a while which did eventually get cleaned out. On our final night we had a cockroach in our room. I understand this can be down to chance but it was unpleasant nonetheless. There is no soundproofing and you can hear everything happening in the hostel. Old A/C machine in private room which was very loud.

• Indy (1/5): Schimmel matras, kakkerlakken, faciliteiten altijd bezet - Supermarkt dichtbij. Helaas geen ander goed woord voor dit hostel. Ik begrijp ook niet waar de goede reviews vandaan komen. Kakkerlakken in de keuken, badkamer en slaapkamer. Schimmel in het matras. Bijna 40 euro per nacht en 1 handdoek per persoon voor 10 dagen. Je handdoek verschonen kost je geld. Toilet/douche bijna altijd bezet. Naar buiten lopen om te douchen.. Heel veel drugs gebruik in het hostel, word niet op gehandhaafd. Heel veel vrijwilligers/werknemers die zelf gebruik maken van de faciliteiten daardoor keuken vaak vol is.

Super nice vibe and the events they organise (like the beach campfire) are amazing. Only thing was the WiFi didn’t reach my private room. I was working and paid extra to have the private room so i could take meetings and I couldn’t because the WiFi didn’t reach.

• Patricia (10/5): - Nomades Beach es ideal porque está a pocos metros de la playa y hay todo tipo de negocios cercanos. Las instalaciones son muy cómodas y limpias. Los dormitorios son amplios y ventilados. Tiene zonas de relax y un pool. La cocina es completa y aseada, como también los baños. Cuenta con servicio de lavandería. El personal es atento y simpático. Muy recomendable!! 🙂

• Patricia (10/5): - Nomades Beach es un hostel muy agradable. Las habitaciones son muy cómodas y tiene espacios para relajarse y pasarla bien. La cocina es excelente, muy completa. La limpieza está muy bien organizada y hay mucho respeto en cuanto a los momentos de descanso. Lo mejor que tiene es su personal, son muy simpáticos y te hacen sentir como en casa. Lo súper recomiendo!! ❤️
• Priscila (5/5): O lugar é agradável mas é zero agitação, não tem interação real não espere um lugar de festas pode ser q em algum momen - Localização é ótima. O Hostel é dos voluntários. Não tem festa, zero agito.
