- Stephanie (9/5): Great house and excellent location - Beautiful and spacious mews house with incredible location and QUIET! Super pretty street. Two great size bedrooms plus a smaller study that is probably best used for children. Fantastic upper level great room; I want that flooring in my house! The living area sits atop two garages which means this property is bigger than some other mews houses and that living really is a high ceiling and beamed great room. Decorated beautifully. Lots of natural light and windows. Comfy beds. Kitchen was adequately stocked and included fresh eggs, milk, bread, butter and biscuits. We were greeted by a human and shown the property. The location was superb since you can walk to the Gloucester Road tube in about 10 minutes and the area abounds with coffee shops and eateries. The Waitrose supermarket is on Gloucester Rd and if you walk another 10 you can get to a Sainsbury’s. There’s a pub on the corner but there was no noise from the place. We didn’t hear a sound from any other house on the lane. Plenty of outlets and lights. Washer and two dryers. A few extra half baths. Super close to the museums and Hyde Park. Responsive host. Written house instructions are always welcome so we would have loved something like that. We were traveling with two young adults so unfortunately having a large size disparity between the second and third bedrooms was a bit of a problem. Also, we had to clear out the shelving in that room so that my daughter could put away her things. It would have been ideal, if the closet had been emptied prior to our arrival — but easily enough done on our own.
