Guest Reviews
- Guest (9/5): A wonderful accommodation experience, thank you we would definitely book again! - Only feedback is about one of the beds which way very hard and we weren’t able to use it during our stay, we appreciated the bed topper being dropped off on day 2 of booking 😊
- Adrian (4/5): Disappointing - Let’s begin…
This was initially advertised – “The spacious holiday home has 3 bedrooms, a TV with cable channels, ……., and 3 bathrooms with a bath”. The ONLY REASON why I booked this place was because of the 3 bathrooms. When I told them about this, they admitted that it was their mistake and it should be advertised as 2.5 bathrooms (they have amended). When I asked for a day’s refund or compensation (I booked for 6 days), I was told “we have two full bathroom with shower and toilet and one bathroom with toilet only, so please kindly share the bathrooms” AND when I persisted, I was told “like we explained the reason, when we put 2.5 baths on listing, booking platform automatically changed to 3, i saw your will have 4 adults staying with us, it should be good to use 2.5 baths?” Honestly – I booked and PAYED for 3 BATHROOMS and they are telling me that there is 2.5 bathrooms and I should be fine with it! IF I HAD KNOWN that it was 2.5, I WOULD NOT HAVE BOOKED your place.
The exhaust on top of the cooker does not work.
One of the bedrooms – the mattress is rock hard. I kid you not – from a 1-10, it’s a 9. The next day, we had to put on a topper and another blanket underneath the bedsheet to make it ‘sleepable’.
The towels are clean but there is a strange smell to it. But I’m just glad it’s clean. The extra towels in the cupboard, I saw a hair on one the towels and chose not to look at it again.
You might get lost looking for the house. The address given was 12/567 Booking Road (for example). Using our GPS, we went in many circles. It’s actually House number 12, 567 Booking Road. So be careful. If you have luggage, Good Luck. We first had to park at the visitor’s lot, and walk to the unit. Whether you drive or not, there are stairs to overcome to get to the unit. If you drive, you have to get the ‘car park shutter key’ from the unit first, then open the shutter gate to let the car in. Even from the garage, there are stairs UP to the unit. As I repeat, Good Luck if you have luggage – not for those that are not able to handle their luggage weight.
If we don’t drive, but you have luggage, you will have to walk to the unit and still overcome a few steps.
The shower in the common toilet is NOT adjustable. You can’t adjust the height and it sprays at the shower door. So I do hope you like showering 1 inch away from the shower door and guess what, and not to my surprise, water escapes from the shower area and please expect your bathroom floor to be a little wet.
Washing machine is new but dryer is not working – but then again, they did not advertise that they have a dryer.
Dining area is separated from the living area – the kitchen is in-between. Not so good if you are in a group and would like to interact with one another.
Wifi was not working because the router was not plugged in. Should it not be done BEFORE the guests checks in? By the way, we had to hunt for the router… let’s keep the location a secret so that you can have the excitement of looking for it.
Overall – it was liveable but I think it’s not ready to let yet.
