It was double booked and I could not cancel it, because I would have to pay a fee. Agent did not cancel until I had several calls with the support that cancelled for me.

• SEBASTIEN (5/5): Appartement bien situé mais mal équipé et sale. - Appartement très bien situé géographiquement, la gare de Saint Pancras à 15 minutes à pieds, Bus et métro à 5 minutes. La rue est animée avec de nombreux commerces. Propreté de l'appartement à revoir, mouchoir usagé et beaucoup de saleté sous les lits, miroir de la salle de bain et lavabo sale, joints de douche moisis. Manque d'équipement (pas de torchon à vaisselle, pas de grille pain, pas de cafetière, 3 fourchettes pour 4 personnes), lave linge et sèche linge absents alors qu'ils étaient cités dans le descriptif.

• Liv Denise (9/5): - Die Lage des Apartments ist einfach großartig. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man für ein paar Tage in London zu zweit braucht. Der Vermieter ist total freundlich, antwortet sehr schnell und ist sehr zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und sicher gefühlt.

Se notó especialmente la ausencia de cafetera. No obstante, lo más impactante fue encontrarnos con una limpieza insuficiente (había gran cantidad de polvo en diversos muebles). • Joanne (7/5): Great location. Quiet at night for London. - Location is perfect. Close to tube, food shopping and eating out opportunities. Beds were comfy and pillows were good. Quick communication throughout our stay. My teen daughter and I had a two night stay. Unfortunately, this apartment will never get full positive ratings until the bathroom has a deep clean. It is odd because everyone says the same so why not just get all the scum off the bottom of the shower to remove the mouldy smell? 🤷‍♀️

• Javiera Andrea (1/5): a scam that can cause you serious illness - I honestly hated booking this place. I didn't like anything about it. The neighborhood was awful, right across from a market. The smell of fish and the dirty street were terrible. The apartment was disgusting. The facilities were terrible, the staff were hypocrites, and they couldn't resolve serious problems like the lack of cleanliness and its consequences. And the apartment itself was a pigsty. First: the location. It was awful being right across from a market. It leaves the street smelling of fish or seafood, and the borough does very little cleaning. Second: the place: a horror. The apartment was filthy, with kitchen utensils stuck together with food scraps, poorly washed, and the bathroom with traces of previous feces. But without a doubt, the worst thing was the bed. The duvet and sheets had a strong musty smell, which also permeated the mattress. The bed was so unhygienic that it was infested with fleas, which left my skin covered in them even now (I left last night). I had to spend money on medication and special creams, and my arm still has a high fever. The staff hasn't responded at all, neither to resolve the problem (when I arrived Wednesday night, I warned them about how dirty the place was), nor to offer any compensation. Shameless, swindling, useless, hypocritical people. The whole experience was truly disgusting. I hope they shut down their place for being unsanitary and shameless. The worst part was the constant terror I experienced due to the lack of hygiene, not only from the bed bugs but also from the lack of cleanliness and the possibility of mice. London is a city with a lot of mice, and the place was so disgusting that I'm sure they didn't have any pest control either. With the fair there, the lack of cleaning and ventilation, it was the perfect storm. I still have a high fever in my right arm and have to continue with the corticosteroid treatment. To date, no one from the property management has contacted me to even apologize or offer any compensation, since I had to leave early for health reasons. Expensive, terrible, and above all, unsanitary.

• Abi (7/5): Great location. Cleaning mishap. - The location was great and the artworks on the walls waere lovely. It was good to have a fridge and a microwave, and a nice shower. Unfortunately the room had not been cleaned when I arrived and there were towels, bedsheets and rubbish from the previous guest still in the flat. I did not get these resolved on the first night of my stay so had to find alternative accommodation for the first night. The room was tidied the following day and ready for my stay the following evening. The food I had left in the fridge however, had been thrown out.

• Martina (1/5): Worst experience ever on Booking - After an extremely stressful negotiation on my part, the owner finally accepted to refund me. This took over ten days and multiple calls on my side, when it could have been done instantly, had he answered Booking’s customer service on the first night. Still, it needs to be acknowledged. The most concerning problem (aside from the dirtiness that I will detail later) is that the owner of this place just doesn’t answer Booking’s Customer Service’s calls. Now, since Booking’s protocol apparently needs the owner to answer them to do even the most basic assistance, you are left completely on your own. The owner lied on the description of the place, clearly doesn’t live anywhere near (he suggests you leave the baggage in the hallway, when it’s clearly written that you cannot) and, faced with a serious health and hygiene issue, just buys time before telling you it’s too late for the day and then ignoring you the next one. This was a nightmare. Other issues regard: - Dirty linen (human stains, if you see what I mean, on linen and multiple short hair in a towel, disgusting) and missing items - NO hygiene product whatsoever (not even soap), contrary to what is written. Good luck with covid and bacteria in a city like London, heaven forbids you need to wash your hands - Broken toilet bowl (in three places)

• Sandra (1/5): Verschrikkelijk. - De accommodatie was ontzettend vies; verstopte- en lekkende wasbak, (sperma)vlekken in het beddengoed, vieze- en kapotte handdoeken, schimmelvorming, ect. De communicatie met de eigenaar verliep moeizaam (vragen moesten meerdere keren worden gesteld alvorens deze werden beantwoord) en een schriftelijk bevestigde afspraak met betrekking tot een handdoeken wissel werd niet nagekomen zonder enige compensatie. De foto’s spreken voor zich. Mijn advies is om een andere accommodatie te boeken.

• Beata (1/5): - Tylko lokalizacja była dobra. Byłam tam w dniach 12-17.11. , pokój numer 6. W obiekcie było brudno. Sprzątanie tylko powierzchowne. Obrzydliwy dywan pokryty dużą ilością czarnych włosów i śmieci. Córka znalazła tam nawet tabletkę. W łazience też brudno. Najgorszy był prysznic i miejsce przy łóżku. Po pierwszej nocy obudziłam się z martwą pluskwą na czole! Znalazłam je jeszcze w innych miejscach na łóżku. W skrzyni łóżka mnóstwo kurzu i brudu. Booking nic nie pomógł. Zarządca obiecał posprzątać i zrobić oprysk na pluskwy za 2 dni. Po 4 godzinach od oprysku, około godziny 14, zastałam pokój cały mokry, z mokrą pościelą. Nikt się nie interesował. Obiecano, że do godziny 17 przyjdzie sprzątaczka. Przyszła po godzinie 20:30, gdy już sama, na własny koszt, kupiłam pościel, kołdrę i posprzątałam mieszkanie. Nikt nie zwrócił kosztów, więc zabrałam co się dało. Wcześnie rano wstawałyśmy na wycieczkę a tu tyle nieprzyjemności! Sprzątaczka miała przyjść dnia następnego wyprać tą brudną pościel po oprysku lecz już się nie zjawiła. Wszystko leżało dalej w mieszkaniu.Jestem alergikiem. W ostatni dzień pobytu dostałam wysypki i mam ją nadal. Do dyspozycji gości nie ma pralki ani suszarki tak jak jest to w opisie! Są zamknięte drzwiami na kod. Widziałam schowek na zapas ręczników i pościeli. Coś strasznego!!!!! Odradzam korzystania z tego obiektu. Chciałam dostać zwrot pieniędzy i opuścić lokal po pierwszej nocy ale nie udało mi się dojść do porozumienia. Dużo nerwów. Szkoda, nie można dodać więcej zdjęć.
• Liselotte (3/5): Overall, we were extremely dissatisfied - Location is very good, that's about it! We booked this “Beautiful Studio” for a three-week work trip to London, believing that a small studio would offer more comfort than a standard hotel room. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing, and this is the first truly negative review I have ever felt compelled to write. The room itself was far smaller than expected, with barely enough space to accommodate a couple of suitcases. The kitchen area was minimally equipped, and the dining table was so tightly positioned beside the bed that only one person could realistically use it. However, the most concerning issue was the bathroom. In all my years of travelling, including stays in hotels of varying standards, I have never encountered a bathroom in such poor condition. Upon arrival, the shower was visibly dirty, with mouldy, deteriorated sealant around the tray and hair, mould, and black residue along the edges. The towels provided were also unpleasantly odorous and did not appear freshly laundered. I contacted the manager immediately, and while I was assured that the bathroom would be cleaned and fresh towels provided, this did not occur until two days later and only after I followed up. Even after the “clean,” the condition remained unacceptable. I ultimately purchased cleaning supplies myself to ensure the bathroom was sanitary, though the aged and damaged sealant could not be remedied. Having to personally clean a bathroom in paid accommodation is something I have never experienced before. We were supplied with only one roll of toilet paper for the entire three-week stay, and there was no offer of a linen change at any point. Overall, we were extremely dissatisfied—not only with the state of the studio but also with the lack of effective service. Although the customer service team was polite, they were unable to adequately address issues that clearly stem from a poorly maintained, overused property in need of significant cleaning, repairs, and professional management.
• Angelique (1/5): Don’t book unless you love BEDBUGS - The location was good however I DO NOT RECOMMEND as the place is crawling with BEDBUGS and nobody is around to do anything about it or be of any service DO NOT BOOK THIS: CRAWLING WITH BEDBUGS! And there’s no one to help you (I strongly suspect the ‘host’ we messaged with is just an AI-bot). At arrival we already thought hygiene was doubtful as there’s black mold in the shower and the bed sheets did not look clean (found hairs and particles of dirt in them), however we gave the place the benefit of the doubt because of the great location and relatively low price. Since we were staying for 9 nights, I requested a bedsheet- and towelchange somewhere during our stay but no one responded to this request. There were only 2 towels in total for 2 guests anyway, which is a bit ridiculous. Also water pressure is an issue, there were 2 occasions no water at all came out of the tap. But we didn’t even complain about those things as we are pretty easygoing customers and made it work. BUT when a week into our stay my daughter showed me she was absolutely covered in bedbug bites I did ask for help and assistance after 1 initial respond, suggesting I was the sheets myself (which is rather funny as it was evening and the dryer is out of service) no one ever came to help and no one even responded anymore. We actually found living bedbugs in the sheets and asked for a clean up and clean sheets several times into the evening but there was no answer. Not even when we decided to leave 2 nights early and expressed our disappointment. And we still haven’t heard anything, it’s absolutely ridiculous! So my advice: STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS APARTMENT AND ITS BEDBUGS!

De a legnagyobb problémám az volt (ami miatt alacsony pontszámmal értékelem a helyet), hogy ágyi poloskák voltak az ágyban amik teljesen összecsípték a testemet. Erről szóltam a szállásadónak viszont semmilyen kártérítést nem adott ami szerintem elfogadhatatlan. Elmondta, hogy megoldják a problémát és nagyon sajnálja a dolgot, azonban nekem az egészségem károsult. A minimum lett volna a kártérítés biztosítása egy ilyen helyzetben.

Des commerces pharmacie, magasin, restaurant et fast food en bas du logement. C'est un vrai + Odeur désagréable dans l'appartement et salle de bain malgré son aération quotidienne. Hygiène douteuse. Sortie à 10h sans service pour les bagages, c'est dommage.

The overall comfort and quality was extremely disappointing. I was concerned with the cleanliness of the bedding as everything was very basic, old and did not appear to be fresh. Based on the cost of this property, this is not to be recommended. It does not make sense given the alternatives. Property pictures do not reflect the room. Owner refused to provide invoice even though Booking.com policy is that property provides the invoice.
• Michaela (8/5): - Die Lage der Unterkunft war für uns hervorragend, alles prima zu erreichen, die Bus Station und die U - Bahn waren keine 500 Meter entfernt! Direkt in der Straße befinden sich zwei Supermärkte und es ist fast jeden Tag Markt direkt vor der Haustür! Die Ausstattung der Küche war ausreichend für uns, aber könnte gegebenfalls etwas mehr sein, zum Beispiel etwas mehr Besteck oder ein Toaster! Der Vermieter war auch super freundlich, hat mehrfach gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist! Alles in allem hatten wir einen tollen Aufenthalt!!

Aynı şekilde TV nin kumandası odada yoktu, daha ilk günden kumandayı da talep ettik, gönderilecek dendi fakat her gün oyalanarak kumandasız bir şekilde tatili tamamladık. Temizliği söylemiş miydim. Aa evet yerde toz topakları uçuyordu, klozet kapağı leş gibiydi. Havlular berbattı. Tuvalet kağıdı sayısı yetersizdi.

• Zoltan (8/5): - Very conveniently located, close to King's Cross and St Pancras stations. Staff are very responsive and helpful, access is easy. Chapel Market with farmer's produce adds a special flavour to the location. The room is tiny even if it offers two double beds and needs a lot of logistics for four people. Storage room is limited. Shower gel was available only on request and I've seen tidier bathrooms.

• Christiane (8/5): Eine kleine eigene Wohnung in perfekter Lage. - Die Lage ist wirklich perfekt - angenehm ruhig, alles was man so braucht fussläufig erreichbar, nah an U-Bahn, Bussen, aber auch perfekt mit dem Fahrrad erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist kompakt und für ein paar Tage hat sie alles, was man braucht (außer Duschgel!!!). Trotz der Lage in einer belebten Strasse war es absolut ruhig. Es wäre gut, wenn alles da ist, was in der Anzeige steht (Duschgel!), und eine Anleitung für die Dusche wäre hilfreich (ich kannte das System schon, aber für viele dürfte es gewöhnungsbedürftig sein). Auch W-Lan war da, aber ich musste nachfragen. Insgesamt wurde bei Problemen immer schnell geantwortet - aber nicht immer auch wirklich umgesetzt, was versprochen wurde, das war schade. Vielleicht wäre auch gut, klarer zu sein, dass es ein Altbau ist der nicht in jeder Hinsicht perfekt komfortabel ist (steile enge Treppen, wenn alle duschen Probleme mit Wasserdruck). Das hat mich überhaupt nicht gestört, könnte aber manche stören.

• sabine (3/5): certainly not as advertised! - location is nice and it is quiet. Most importantly: the shower did not work; this was known to management beforehand. It was finally repaired for my last day. Toilet seat was old and broken. Fridge had food traces. On arrival, we had to phone to get code for the appartment. Advertised as studio with washer and dryer. There were none.

• Edita (7/5): - The communication with the host was great from start to finish, if we needed anything or had a question, we received reply promptly. The location was also perfect, right on the market, but it was calm and quiet in the night and public transport was just 5 min by walk. Our room was a bit small, but I appreciate complimentory tea, coffee, also possibility to cook something basic. Beds were comfy. Wifi was also good and check-in/out very easy. I would rate our stay here as 7,5. The apartment and especially bathroom would need some deeper cleaning and the hand shower could have a better water power.

• Kristin (8/5): Ein guter Ausgangspunkt für einen Londonbesuch. - Die Lage war sehr gut; in Fußgängerzone gelegen. Das Zimmer mit 2 großen Betten war für unsere 4-köpfige Familie ausrreichend für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Die Einrichtung ist liebevoll und modern, die Küche ist gut eingerichtet. Die Sauberkeit war leider nur bedingt gegeben. In den Betten waren Haare zu finden, die nicht von uns waren. In den Ecken und im Bad war es nicht wirklich sauber.

• Enrique (5/5): Pudiendo ser un 10 se queda en un 5 - La ubicación, cerca del centro. El apartamento es pequeño pero bonito. La limpieza deja bastante que desear, las sábanas tienen manchas, la bañera está con moho, los armarios de la cocina por dentro estaban sucios. Entraron a arreglar algo de mantenimiento y no nos avisaron. Cuando llegamos nos encontramos escombros y tornillos en el suelo. Entendemos el mantenimiento, pero por lo menos avisar que van a pasar.
• Katherine (7/5): - Location was good, it's alright for the price. Could have been cleaner, couldn't get in to start with, not much toilet roll, Internet was pretty bad, bed was very uncomfortable.
• Inmaculada (8/5): Ubicación estupenda - La ubicación es fantástica y compensa las carencias del apartamento. Tienes pubs, restaurantes, supermercados y un mercado debajo del apartamento. Zona muy buena para caminar por la noche por la vida que tiene. El metro está a pocos minutos y eso viene muy bien. El apartamento es pequeño para 4 personas, aunque para dormir está bien. Necesita algunas reformas: humedades en el techo y en el baño, algunas manchas en la colcha. Menaje muy justo para 4, haría falta una sartén y una olla más grande para poder cocinar para cuatro personas. Hay muy poco sitio para dejar la ropa, sólo un armario con perchas y dos pequeños cajones,se agradecería una balda en el armario o unos cajones en el armario. Aunque en Booking diga que tiene servicio de guardaequipajes no es así, lo que tiene es un servicio para dejar tus maletas a las 12h antes del check-in.

• Michael (9/5): A great place to call home while visiting the area! - I LOVED the location! A different place to eat each day...within steps of the front door! I am fine with stairs, but some may find it to be quite a climb...depending on which unit you are in.
• Samiksha (5/5): Loved the locality — excellent transport connections. However, the studio we were given was only suitable for one person - Location was awesome! The space was very cramped for two people and made cooking quite difficult if you plan to prepare a meal. It’s suitable only if you just need a place to sleep. We also faced issues getting our bed linen changed—it was quite a hassle. Additionally, we had booked an extra day but requested to cancel it well in advance. Unfortunately, the request was not honored, something that never happened in my experience while booking in this platform.

• Azlenda (2/5): Very poor - Nothing Pillows were flat, no support at all. We asked for better ones and the owner said they will send over, but never did. We asked again but there's no answer. The smaller throw pillows were dirty and have stains on them. The shower was clogged and you can't take a shower longer than 2 minutes before it backs up . No iron and only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 people for 3 days. We had to buy some because we know it will never be sent even if we ask. There's only one light switch for the only 2 lights in there. One of the light was super annoyingly bright but you can't just turn it off by itself. There's a ladder left in the room. Water damage on the ceiling.
