• Alison (10/5): Home away from home! - Lesley the host is so welcoming and kind and goes out of her way to make sure everything is perfect, which is why I am a return customer. The room is always clean and the sheets are always ironed and fresh, which is a rare treat. The gardens are lovely to relax in, with plants everywhere making it feel like a secret oasis and, bonus!, it's close to the shops and the beach too. Breakfast is always satisfying andcfresh. I always feel very comfortable staying here, so I can't recommend it highly enough. I can't fault this lovely place.

• Kaley (2/5): If you're looking to live in close quarters with strangers with no security that doesn't match its description o - breakfast was good. This is a "bed and breakfast" in only the most literal sense of the words: you get a bed and you get breakfast. However, I'd say this is better described as a low-end hostel. We had a room in the guest house out back and it felt like we were sharing a small, run down airbnb with strangers. There are no locks on any door besides one very small lock on the inside of the bedroom door that you can use only while inside that might be better suited for a girl's diary than a door. I'm pretty sure my house cat could break that lock if he wanted to get inside. The guest house does have its own entrance from the front of the house, which also happens to be where the host's massive dog does its business so there were frequently mounds of shit scattered along the walk to the room. For this reason, I would not say this place is not suitable for anyone with a rolling suitcase or anyone planning to come and go after sundown as my partner accidentally stepped in one of these piles on his way to the room in the evening. We have been traveling for over a year and a half staying at all ranges of places and never once have we stayed in a place whose description was so deviating from the actual experience. We stayed in the "Standard Queen Room" which was described as follows (annotated to match our experience): "Guests will have a special experience as the double room provides a fireplace (Does not exist). I chose Whitfords due to the location of the venue I was attending. I wasn't aware there were other people staying in the house apart from the host. The rubbish bin in the kitchen was full & smelly. Limited space in the fridge if you needed to put anything in.

• Dorothy (4/5): - My room was one of 2 bedrooms side by side in a self-contained apartment with an open plan kitchenette, lounge and dining area, and bathroom. The first three nights were comfortable. The first and third nights, I was alone, and the second was shared with a lovely young woman. After a day out on my 4th day, I arrived to find I was sharing the apartment with a strange man. I am a single middle-aged woman, and to find a strange man in the apartment was scary. I went to the proprietor who was in the main house ( which also has lodging rooms, and she tried to assure me he was safe and harmless because he had a limp!! She also assured me he was only staying one night. As it was late, I had no alternative but stay. I sat wake all night, scared to fall asleep, or use the shared bathroom. The next day, he had not moved out and was informed he was staying another few nights. I had 2 more booked nights in there. But did not stay. I moved out! The proprietor said she was not able to refund me. My safety and comfort were uppermost, so I left and found another accommodation. This, I might add, was high season (December) and accomodation prices were high end. As sbove

• Peter (9/5): Pleasant surprise out of Perth. - The pillow and bedding were great. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were first class. Friendliness and the cleanliness of the property.

• MARTIN (7/5): Lovely room but basic breakfast - The room was a good size with a four poster bed which was exceptionally comfortable. The bathroom was nice, the shower powerful and there was a large walk in wardrobe. We also had our own private outdoor space. which was an unexpected bonus. The host was very friendly and welcoming and the location was on a residential street close to a shopping centre which offered a range of eateries for reasonable prices This accommodation is billed as a Bed & Breakfast however we would describe it more as a Homestead as the host was sharing her house so there were no dedicated guest spaces. Although the bedroom could be locked from within there was no key to lock the room when we went out and the front door was left unlocked. Breakfast was taken in the kitchen and was self service - there was no optional hot breakfast available. We had to rummage around in the cupboards to find cups/mugs, milk for our tea etc and the selection of food was pretty basic. Most annoying was that the host set up the kitchen for breakfast in the early hours of the morning and since our room was close by we were disturbed repeatedly between the hours of 2:30am to 4:30am while this was going on.

• Angela (10/5): I would definitely recommend staying at Leslie’s beautiful home I also felt very safe there - I enjoyed Continental breakfast on Saturday morning and my husband enjoyed cook breakfast on Sunday morning. Loved everything about our stay, Everything was clean comfortable, Our host Leslie was amazing, friendly, and helpful. Made us feel really welcome 🤗🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽 There was absolutely no faults with accommodation at all. Just the location, As it’s a long way from the places we needed to go too.

• Lyn (7/5): - Generous master bedroom with a king bed, spacious ensuite, sitting area and a bar fridge. Everything was well maintained, clean and fresh. Our host was welcoming and accommodating, and well skilled at sharing her space with her guests. Our navigator got confused and couldn't find Number 10 (???) we arrived after dark and couldn't see the small letter box number, forget to mention to the host! The Property does have a private entrance, but it was not accessible, we would suggest that it should be reinstated.

• May (10/5): - Lovely atmosphere, beautiful clean kitchen and eating area ,it felt as if I was in a cafe, very relaxing and enjoyable.The bedrooms decorated beautifully and the bed is super comfortable.I had the most amazing stay I would definitely stay here again . I would recommend staying at Whitfords Delight Bed & Breakfast .
• Phil (1/5): Don't go there. DON'T GO THERE - The location Bed bugs. No hot water one morning. Dog in the house. One bathroom for 3 rooms in house plus Tennant. Advertised as debt luxe, and it was the worst place I have stayed in. It's more like backpackers. The TV did not worn. The house was in need of a paint and attention. Faulty towers would describe it. The only positive was the host was friendly
