Seems like the pictures on booking have been taken few years ago, there is need for renewals and to solve the problem of humidity for the rooms close to the river on the ground floor.

- Galvin (8/5): Very good - The receptionist are so helpful, they even help to carry our luggages from the car park. The decorations of the hotel are exceptional. I love the design of the hotel with the wooden concept. They even provide us facial mask and body lotion. This is really makes me feel that they really care about their guest as the weather in lijiang really make our skin dry and the masks and body lotion did help. They provide a bath tub but without a door. It would be a bad idea as i am an adult but stay with my parents. The staff who work at the breakfast station are not so friendly and the choices of the breakfast are less.

It has a quite vibe with less people that you can take your time with taking photos. Every angle is an instagrammable worthy place. The staff is very accommodating and respond quite with messages send via wechat. We were offered arrival picked up and assistance with our luggage on arrival. The hotel has a very nice courtyard and was decorated with Chinese ancient vibe design that will transmigrated you into an ancient China era. The amenities were very complete that they event provide you with facial hydrating masks. The room is as per photo provided, spacious with modern appliances. They provided egg fried rice We had a great time at the place! Owh yeah, the wall is rather thin so do keep in mind to not be too loud😊

- David (6/5): Go somewhere else. - We got a pretty good offer for two big rooms. Bedsheets always clean and tidy also the towels. They put also drinking water on the room every Day. Since we were the only guests It was very quiet. The hotel is located in a very quiet area. The breakfast was really bad from the first day on we went to other places to eat. The staff was extremly bored and not very helpfull. The whole hotel had better times. For example the carpet was old and dirty. So where the windows. Everywhere it was rusty, a lot of things were just fixed very cheap. The shower had no pressure so showering was no fun. The Toilett smelled very badly. Since i'm often in Shuhe this place will not see us again. There ae many nicer places ro stay just look around in the area.by the way the hotel looked different than on the fotos.

- Xiaoqing (10/5): Exceptional - Come to the ancient town, choose this inn is really right. Just enter the inn, you can feel its high-end and unique. The attentive staff guided us to the room, where the hand-painted murals were stunning and the pure wooden furniture gave a natural feel. The hygiene here is very good and it is very safe to live here. Breakfast is also generous, providing energy for the day's play. The small stream in front of the door is crystal clear, which adds a lot of aura to the whole inn. It's easy to get around, it's close to parking, there's plenty of food and shopping around, and it's close to all the attractions worth visiting. The hotel has a large scale, many room types, to meet the needs of different guests, it is really a very good characteristic inn.

- Charleschannn (6/5): Great staff but underwhelming experience amidst poor shower facilities in an alternative location. - Room was spacious and the staff on hand was very responsive to my queries of the area. He had also helped to arrange for a tour which unfortunately did not come into fruition as tickets were sold out quick, resulting in the tour package previously arranged, not possible (I had requested on short notice). Kudos to the staff. They had also driven my luggage to the nearest pick up area for cabbing outwards. I found a few issues then.. 1. The accommodation shown on the net is wrong, they started renovation about a month ago, and the area being used looked a little neglected and underwhelming. 2. The breakfast promised was initially struck off as their cook supposedly went on leave amidst off-peak season, the staff did go out of the way to help get bread and milk instead. 3. The shower facilities were not great, you would have to let the water run for a good while before it became hot. I had the unfortunate issue of some broken piping and did not have hot water access during the latter half of my stay. The staff had to arrange for me to shower in a different room. 4. The heating functions in the room were a little weak as compared to the other accommodations I stayed in the region. could be because the room was spacious and hence inadequately equipped.
