Spa area is too small, when we have been there, all the sun beds were covered.

- Viktória (10/5): Wonderful family-run Alpine hotel with excellent service - We had a really great experience at Hotel Hochfilzer. The hotel has been beautifully renovated in an Alpine style, with lots of wood and cozy spaces. It is family-run, and the owners are very kind and hospitable. They were very flexible when we asked to have our child stay in a double room and arranged everything for her at a reasonable price. The breakfast was extraordinary, with excellent service. There is also a restaurant for dinner with a limited à la carte menu, but the food was very good. A big plus is that although children’s meals are not on the menu, the staff kindly prepared a meal for our child. The hotel is also conveniently located close to the ski area, just a 5-minute drive away and the ski bus stops right in front of the hotel, which makes getting there very easy. Everything was really great overall. The only area where there is some room for improvement is cleanliness. It was generally fine and there was nothing major to complain about, but we noticed a few spider webs here and there in our room, which suggested that the cleaning could be a bit more thorough.

- Hana (10/5): Skvělé ubytování s fantastickou kuchyní - Líbilo se mi úplně všechno. Oceňuji to, že v místě bylo vše, co je na bookingu u ubytování uvedeno a vše fungovalo dokonale. Nádherný vyhřívaný venkovní bazén, skvělá sauna, infrasauna, pára, dostatek parkovacích míst zdarma, wifi v ceně, klidné místo, hezký pokoj s balkonem a nádherným výhledem, skvělí majitelé. Co předčilo mé očekávání, byla absolutně úžasná kuchyně. Dokonalé snídaně, skvělé večeře, ať už ala carte nebo včetně rezervace. Mohu říct, že jsem tu měla nejlepší jídlo, jaké jsem kdy jedla a skvělé zážitky z unikátní formy servírování. Nevidím žádná negativa.

In der Nebensaison hatten wir den Wellness Bereich fast für uns alleine. Extrem unfreundliches Personal! Wir würden deshalb DIESE Unterkunft NICHT erneut buchen. Wir wollten Abends noch etwas Trinken. Das passte der Chefin überhaupt nicht, sie hat mit einem sehr unfreundlich Ton gefragt: Was wollt ihr denn noch trinken? Wir: Ein Bier und das zweite Getränke wussten wir noch nicht… Die Chefin: Ja dann lest doch hier die Karte (diese lag uns nicht vor und wir standen zu diesem Zeitpunkt im Speiseraum)! Total unverschämt! Das Frühstück wird wiederum nicht an einem Buffet serviert sondern wieder persönlich von der Chefin. Sie diktiert alles was auf ihrem mobilen Wagen steht und dann muss man sagen, was man möchte! Fanden wir überhaupt nicht gut. Wir haben uns bei diesem Service (von der Chefin) nicht wohl gefühlt. Sehr schade - das Hotel an sich war wirklich klasse.

- Andreas (10/5): es waren sehr schöne Urlaubstage, zum Erholen, zum Genießen, Wandern etc - Das Hotel liegt wunderschön, wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Blick zur Hohen Salve und seitlich sahen wir den Wilden Kaiser. Betten waren sehr bequem und Ausstattung gemütlich. Pool, Wellness modern, sauber - alles zum Wohlfühlen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, vielseitig, für jeden was das Herz begehrt. Wir hatten tolles Wetter und konnten das Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit wunderbaren Blick genießen. Wir haben uns auch zum Abendbrot die tollen Menüs gegönnt - einfach lecker. Wer gern wandert, wird nichts vermissen. Haben auch den Bus genutzt, der mit der Gästekarte kostenlos nutzbar ist. Ein Stückchen musste man hinlaufen. Wir haben unser Auto stehen lassen. alles mit Laufen, Bus erreicht. es gibt nichts zu beanstanden, alles gut

Everything brand new, I believe from last summer . Heated pool excellent! Excellent cuisine, la label Gault& Millau is not displayed without a perfect reason ! You have the bus in front of the hotel 2 times per hour to and from the ski tracks. 6 places taxi for less than 20 euros the trip are also available. Enough parking place. Heidi, the hostess, is fantastic! Thanks for everything!

- Kim (8/5): - Ganz tolles kleines Hotel. Die Zimmer waren super. Das Frühstück hat super geschmeckt und man hatte eine große Auswahl. Besonders charmant war die persönliche Bedienung durch die Familie. Darüber hinaus gab es einen tollen Spa-Bereich und einen großen Außenpool. Die ganze Anlage war in einem hervorragenden Zustand und super sauber. Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb, was für uns allerdings ein kleineres Problem darstellte. Ein Kühlschrank war leider nicht im Zimmer. Alles in Allem aber ein super Hotel. Wir würden auf jeden Fall noch einmal buchen!

- Simon (9/5): A wonderful stay in a superb hotel with lovely hosts. I would highly recommend. - The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings, is very smart and well appointed. The room was great with a lovely balcony overlooking the valley. The spa facilities were good with a heated outdoor pool, steam room and sauna - these were all very welcome after a days skiing. Breakfast was excellent, with a good selection to suit all tastes. There were cooked options done to order which were excellent, along with a good selection of fruits, meats, cheeses, pastries and breads, along with a selection of fruit juices & hot drinks for all tastes. We didn't tend to eat at the hotel on an evening as we tended to have a (large) late lunch on the ski area so were not hungry on an evening. However we did dine there on a couple of evenings and the food was exquisite. The hosts (Heidi & Helmut) were most welcoming and very accommodating of our English quirks. Heidi was very helpful and friendly. Only slight negatives are that breakfast didn't start until 0800 - I usually like to be on the mountain on the first lift. Also being a Yorkshireman, although the food was exquisite, the price tag was eye watering.

- Cliona (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel was beautiful, the facilities were excellent, the staff were fantastic. The beds were really comfortable and the hotel was spotless. Every detail was considered. The restaurant was top quality- the food was excellent. Heidi was so welcoming and so helpful and friendly. We had a really nice stay and we will be back. No complaints!

- Martina (7/5): Nice place but way overpriced for what you get. - The hotel was clean and had a nice furniture. The pool and the sauna are decent, anf the opening hours of the pool from 7 am to 9 pm are so convenient (sauna only starts in the afternoon though). We had nice bathrobes and slippers in our room. If you manage to get everything you want for breakfast, it’s actually nice for the most part. The breakfast. It’s not a buffet and the lady comes with a wagon to each table with most of the breakfast stuff on it but you cannot take it yourself. This can take forever to get everything you want and you feel pressured to choose immediately. Also, we are vegetarian and we got a sausage plate to our table without being asked before what we want. We felt bad for giving it back, and the only response we got was a harsh you should’ve told us. The whole place is absolutely not a 4-star location and definitely overpriced for what you get. The bathroom is just a glass front and the door didn’t close, we had zero privacy. The room has no fridge and the dinner costs 65€. Check out on booking.com is 11.00 but had to check out at 10.30.

- Maksim (10/5): tranquil time in the beautiful location - Exceptional location all benefits of the hotel but in the private shale. Gorgeous views, a quiet place but very close to the village and the ski lifts. Exceptional service super clean and comfortable. Nothing.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Sehr schönes Hotel außerhalb des Ortszentrums - Die Zimmer, sowie das gesamte Gebäude sind sehr sauber und scheinen vor nicht langer Zeit renoviert worden zu sein. Das Hotel ist etwas außerhalb der Ortschaft gelegen, was uns aber gut gefallen hat. Der Ortskern ist sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Gerne wieder!

Das Ambiente, der Service, die familiäre Atmosphäre gaben uns das Gefühl, willkommener Besucher zu sein, dessen Wohl dem Hoteliersehepaar sehr am Herzen liegt ! Nicht zu vergessen : die ausgezeichnete Küche !! Kurzum - wir waren begeistert und kommen gerne wieder.
