Guest Reviews
- Asif (1/5): - They refused to let me check in due to a shower maintenance issue. I then wasted 1.5 hours of my time outside on a cold and rainy night in Hounslow desperately trying to get a refund of the non-refundable rate I paid and also finding another place to stay that night. I did get the refund in the end. However the whole experience was distressing and stressful to say the least. They should not be listing the property on booking.com if they know there is a maintenance issue.
- Maria (8/5): Very good - Proximity to the station Was not warm enough in the room
- Kevin (8/5): Very good -
- Ananie (8/5): Very good -
- Thomas (8/5): Very good -
- Ravinder (1/5): Bad -
- Siphokazi (2/5): Very poor - Dirty bathroom
Host was not friendly at all
- Alan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Guilherme (3/5): Pictures and description doesn’t match the reality. - The only thing I liked was the freedom to use the shared bathroom since there wasn’t anyone else staying there. The place was really messy and dirty. Bad location and none cleaning service.
We stayed for more than 10 days and there was not a single day someone cleaned the bathroom or the common area.
Other than that, it was really overpriced. I could later find really nice hotels for just a bit more expensive.
- Sangeet (7/5): Good a for a night stay. It's a home stay so not possible to leave your baggage and pick later. - I had to wait to enter the premises as I was not given the code to enter the premises. I entered from the vehicle entry side and picked up the keys from the place where they were kept (indicated by the proprietor).
- Kaplar (2/5): Would not recommend - Bed was comfortable enough. Host had cleaning personnel come 1/2 hour before checkout, through the phone with the cleaning personnel the host told me it was time to check out, even though it was not checkout time yet, which made me have to scramble to finish getting ready. The cleaning personnel stood in the small hallway on the phone while I was finishing getting my things together, using the bathroom, etc. Strange set up, ad says shared bathroom, you try to be quiet but the door to the bathroom hits a loud decor piece hanging from the light in the hallway. There's no trash can and the communication was difficult.
- Hubert (4/5): Interesting for Heathrow passengers only - Comfortable Bed and everything is clean, big warm shower. Very close to bus stop, 15 mins walk to Railway Station. To find and to enter the building, I had to call the accommodation, 2 times no answering the phone, but she answeres booking chat. Transport Travel Zone 4. You ever need to close the curtain (and window), cause a car park is situated outside, ground floor, close to the window. No towels, no table, no television (like mentioned). To share private bathroom from the host only. No window nor fan in the bathromm.
- Sakata (7/5): Convinient. - It is very convinient location near the LHR. To enter the building, I had to call the accommodation, and checkout must be done before 9:00.
- Patrizia (7/5): Good - The host was very kind and helpful, check-in and check-out procedures were smooth, and the room was in a convenient location to travel from Heathrow. I found it quiet at night, despite being at ground level. The room as well as the shared bathroom were not particularly clean.
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yuriy (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice and friendly host, cozy room. There were some fruit, some snacks, as well as everything to make tea. Location is also great: just 10 minutes by foot from Hounslow Centrap tube station. Check-in at 10 pm was no problem, the host answered the phone immediately.
- Kevin (6/5): Accommodation was basic but okay for the price. Listing needs to be more clear. - . Recommend updating the listing to state that this is a single bedroom in a private family's apartment. Had I known this I would have booked somewhere else.
- Priyadharshini (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (8/5): Welcoming and comfortable just a little basic - Quiet, convenient and ground floor No TV, No table or chair
- Vikas (9/5): Superb -
- Fares (7/5): Good -
- Brenda (8/5): Ideal Heathrow stopover. Its Hounslow so expect noisy landings every 30seconds. - Very handy. Can walk from Hounslow Central underground, High St shops. 30m to Wetherspoons. Nothing. Is a guest bedroom in private flat, owner on site so shared bathroom isnt a problem. No tv but not wanted.
- Israel (1/5): Bad - It looks like she doesn't have legal right to rent the house . She play hide and seek . We didn't stay in the room and not able to get a refund. We like Nothing about the room that is why we didn't stay .
- Stefan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alexandra (10/5): Exceptional - - close to underground station
- close to markets
-room very clean
- was a quite place
- bed very confortable
- lady who received us very nice -one small issue, we had to buy an adaptor (UK-EU adapter plug), as they did not had this at the receptions
- Adam (8/5): Very good -
- Victoria (5/5): Cheap, functional but very basic. - Location was good. Shared bathroom with the owner was awkward as starts to clean after only one of us had had a shower. We had a kettle and teabags but no spoon or milk and when we asked was told it’s not supplied. Only given one towel for two guests. The bed only had one pillow and later found another one in drawer under the bed, not clear where spare pillows were. The curtains where thin and barely closed. A chair near the entrance had toiletry’s on but they looked like items that other guest had left.
- Mark (2/5): Not adequately clean for me, left shortly after arrival and sought other accommodation - Upon arrival, the property owner was friendly and welcoming. Room walls and furnishings were worn and stained. To satisfy myself that the bed at least met a minimum level of hygiene, I lifted the sheets and found that there was no mattress cover under the sheets and the mattress was heavily soiled with many dried blood stains. Photo attached. The owner offered to add another sheet over the mattress but did not have a protective plastic cover. Having had bad experiences in the past with bugs and infections transmitted via beds and linen, this discovery caused me to lose confidence that I could have a restful sleep at this property.
Other notes for those who may contemplate a stay here in future:
Guestroom is at ground level in a subdivided flat, directly accessed through an entry vestibule.
Shared bathroom is directly across the vestibule from the room.
Guestroom has a full-height window that looks onto a car park so curtains need to be fully drawn (to the extent that they can) for privacy from outside.
During the short time that I was there, sounds from hallway, vestibule, adjacent apartment and car park were clearly heard in the room.
Shortly after arrival, I politely explained to the owner that I was not comfortable staying there because of the condition of the mattress, left and sought accommodation elsewhere. My request for a refund was refused and I was charged for the full 2-night stay. This was consistent with the property's cancellation policy but a disappointing and expensive lesson for me.
- Laurie (9/5): Superb -
- Tony (10/5): Excellent, just what I wanted. - Nice room, comfortable and very quiet. Everything I needed and great value. Personally I would have like a warmer/ thicker duvet.
- Alistair (8/5): very good budget accommodation near Heathrow - My host was very pleasant and welcoming. She told me about eating options nearby. Checkout was easy - even though I was leaving early to catch a flight. A convenient location for Heathrow at a very good price - an easy walk from the tube station.
- Anonymous (10/5): was really good and the women was really helpful and nice - was nice and spacious little bit travelling time from main London about 45mins
- Franco (2/5): Very poor - Nnnnoooooo!!!!!!!!!

- Franco (1/5): Bad -
- Ruqia (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (7/5): Good - Cheap and comfortable room in a block of flats, not far from tube line into central London.
- Akhigbe (9/5): Excellent - The secured entry and the guest was very polite and patient. The room was very clean. The bathroom was clean and well looked after.
- Bahamin (8/5): Very good -
