• Tudor Bic (10/5): Highly recommend - The vibe, everything was clean, we could pat the cat, the bathroom was clean, we had access to the kitchen and patios, even though we didn't really get to use them. It was also close to the tram station, so we had no issues visiting Barcelona The only thing is that the room could use a little more storage space, and also the room is a bit small, but was big enough for us

• Ravi Kant Shivhare (6/5): - The kitchen was nice and had a gas stove, but there was no dishwasher. The room had good natural sunlight. - The owner asked for unexpected additional charges €40 for the sake of late check-in despite living in the same apartment. This fee was not disclosed during booking, which suggests it was intended to be added later rather than stated transparently beforehand. - The bedding - including the bedsheet, pillow and duvet cover was very old. - The window shade was not working properly and could only close about 60%. We tried to close it fully, but it didn’t work. - There was no place in the room to hang clothes or jackets; no hangers were provided, and there was no hanging space at all. In the common area, the shared coat hanging rack was entirely taken up by about two dozen of the owner's jackets, leaving no space for guests. - The apartment was on the 5th floor without elevator.

Sofia has created an amazing, elegant sanctuary where you feel immediately welcomed and cared for—truly a home away from home. You have everything you need, from a kitchen for cooking to a lovely balcony for morning coffee. The biggest bonus is the resident charmer, Fisu, who makes the stay extra special! The no-shoes rule is a simple request that keeps the beautiful flat spotless, and it wasn't a problem at all. A flawless and emotive experience!

• Vadim (3/5): ❌ I do not recommend this accommodation, especially in summer! - Cat was cute) We stayed in Barcelona in August, and this was the worst experience we have ever had. First of all, this is not a real guesthouse but just a regular apartment where rooms are rented out right next to the host. We stayed on the second floor, and directly opposite our room was the host’s room. There was absolutely no privacy. Bathroom: only one toilet and shower for five people (us, the host, and another couple downstairs). The shower cabin had mold, cleaning was rare, and the toilet was often occupied — very inconvenient. Kitchen and living room: you can only use the kitchen early in the morning. Later, the host is constantly sitting downstairs, which makes it uncomfortable to cook or eat. The worst part — the room conditions: • No air conditioning. • Only a small cheap fan that just blows hot air. • The room is on the sunny side, the temperature inside reached up to 50°C. • The floor became so hot it was impossible to stand on it. • The terrace has no shade or awning, so you cannot stay there during the day. • At night, the room was unbearably hot, sleeping was impossible, sweat was pouring down. • The blinds (roller shutter) have been broken for over a year, so the sun keeps overheating the room. • I had to sleep outside on a sunbed because staying inside was impossible. Additionally: • The room is very small, no place to put a suitcase, almost no space at all. • A tiny wardrobe where nothing fits. ⚠️ And the most outrageous part: the listing claims there is air conditioning and even shows photos of a room with AC. In reality, the air conditioner is only in the host’s private bedroom (which is not for rent). This is misleading and false advertising. 💸 For the money we paid, we got a torture chamber instead of a holiday.

• Virginia (4/5): non sono stata per niente felice dell’alloggio in questa casa. - zona tranquilla, anche se a 30/40 minuti dal centro, siamo stati “abbastanza bene” In camera nostra faceva caldissimo, la serranda non si tirava giù, il sole picchiava in camera tutto il giorno, e per questo a causa del caldo delle notti abbiamo dovuto dormire sul terrazzo, dove la luce non andava neanche, in bagno c’era odore di rinchiuso/muffa, c’era anche poco spazio dove mettere i vestiti, e come ultima cosa ci venivano comunicate le cose come i pagamenti in ritardo, all’ultimo momento, e venivano alzati i prezzi a loro piacimento. Prima di prendere il pulman per andare all’aereoporto ci viene comunicato che avremmo dovuto pagare 92€, quando siamo arrivati nella casa ci vengono chiesti soldi in più, per la pulizia ( cosa che non ci è mai stata fatta). E in più prima di andarcene hanno insistito varie volte che avremmo dovuto pagare con paypal quando gli ho ripetuto molte volte che non lo avevo.
• Daniel (10/5): Como si andará por mi casa - El piso fue muy acogedor. Disponía de un patio que daba toda la paz que puede dar barcelona, además de la compañía de bigotes y sophia, ambos encantadores. Lo recomiendo en absoluto.
• Michaela (10/5): Relaxed shared apartment stay 15-20 mins from Barcelona! - Sofia was fantastic host, very welcoming and friendly toward guests, she gave you space to come and go as you please in her apartment. We had lovely conversations with her and we felt right at home. Her beautiful, very friendly cat Fisu was the cutest addition. 5 minute walk to tram, metro & bus stops which take you straight into Barcelona within 15-20 minutes, just slightly out the hustle and bustle of the city which was nice to retreat to after a busy day. Beautiful beach only a 5 minute walk away. Plenty of local supermarkets around & a local coffee shop on the same street. We enjoyed being able to use the kitchen to prepare meals & sit out in the balcony in the sun for our morning coffee. We felt safe & appreciated that we could lock our own room with a key when going out for the day. Would recommend anyone for a relaxed and easy going stay in Barcelona. The bedroom we stayed in felt quite warm the first night, but after speaking with Sofia she thankfully gave us really powerful fan for the remainder of our stay which made it a lot more comfortable. Antonio who greeted us upon arrival didn’t speak a word of English and this made check in a bit awkward & some miscommunications but this was easily resolved once we spoke to Sofia.
• Andréa (1/5): Pratique abusive - When I arrived, I was simply told that the front door key might be a bit tricky and that I should just force it a little if needed. There was no other explanation or specific warning. Following that advice, I tried to open the door, but the key was very stiff. I forced it slightly, as instructed, and it ended up breaking inside the lock. As a result, I couldn’t get into the property. I then had to wait over two hours before getting any response or solution. Eventually, I was given a new key, which worked perfectly on the first try — clearly showing that the original key was faulty. Also, this new key was not exactly the same as the one I was initially given. What was especially disappointing is that I was asked to pay €35 to have a new key made, with no room for discussion. No goodwill gesture was offered, despite the fact that I had just arrived and already had to deal with an unexpected issue and wait a long time outside. On top of that, I was never shown any receipt or proof of the actual cost of the replacement key. Overall, it was a very frustrating experience to start with, and I felt the situation was handled unfairly, with a lack of transparency and understanding.

• Anna (8/5): Very good - Great location: station, Al Campo, beach, everything in 10 min! Aparts on the 4th floor without an elevator. Its two-level: kitchen, dining room and terrace, plus a single room (bed and fan only). At level 2, the toilet (one for the whole aparts!), the room where the owner lives permanently)) and a double room (bed, wardrobe, terrace). If you get up early (so as not to wait for a bathroom) and have dinner early (so as not to wait for the kitchen), then it’s ok. One bathroom for 2 level apartments is not enough. Apartments on the 4th floor without an elevator
