Guest Reviews
- Daniel (8/5): Great location - Absolutely excellent location and very quiet and contained. Loved the old building in was in. Nothing major. No real sunlight in the unit as building has been surrounded by modern buildings very close bit that was minor.
- Janine (8/5): Overall stay was good as easy access and central location - Excellent location for our visit. Easy access to tram services and dining precinct. After a 4 hour trip we’re surprised that there was no starter tea or milk supplied. Unit was extremely hot possibly due to clothes dryer running.
- Caitlyn (10/5): - Very cosy and great location! Easy checkin process. Lots of great utilities.
- Hannah (7/5): -
- Fiona (9/5): - Great location and would suit anyone needing 2 bedrooms.
- Emma (6/5): - Very cozy vibe and amazing location Elevator was broken, issues with water pressure
- Karina (8/5): Excellent stay. Great location. Easy check in/out - Very central to everything. Great location No windows with an outlook but we were always exploring anyway
- Dianne (9/5): We enjoyed our stay, definitely a fantastic position in the city. I would recommend it for only 2 people. - The proximity, perfect just about in the centre of the CBD The towels smelt bad, very bad, as though they had been washed and left in the washing machine for a long period, then dried.
The 2 of us used 7 towels trying not to smell bad after a shower.
Also the shower screen, on the edge of the bath, was very difficult to get around. Lucky we were both thin!
- Melissa (9/5): Fantastic location and comfortable appartment - Got a step by step where to locate key and then PIN number , staff should be proud of themselfs. No coffee
- Jennifer (10/5): - Very central and close to everything.
- Danielle (9/5): - Size and location Fire alarm going off all night

- Trish (10/5): The property is lovely, clean and in a really convenient location. Thank you Charlene :) -
- norazmila (9/5): Will repeat my stay - The owner is very helpful and flexible. Property cozy and middle of the city None
- Alanna (8/5): -
- Terri (8/5): Fabulous location. Cosy two bedroom apartment. - Fabulous location. Great access to shops. Lovely apartment for a short stay. Level 1, above a stunning florist. Air con in each room. Washing machine and dryer convenient for families. Hair dryer and curling wand amazing for teen visitor. Comfortable beds. While generally tidy, due to teens' severe allergies, a little bit more attention to dusting different nooks and crannies may have been helpful. Review of the internet access may also be helpful, given said teen couldn't access apps on the tv. Tragic...lol..
- Peter (7/5): Would be excellent except for the hot water ... - Location was great Almost no hot water made it uncomfortable not to shower properly
- Sarah (9/5): Great! - Location
- Raylene (8/5): Amazing apartment with amazing customer service. - Very cute apartment in an amazing location for us. The hot water ran out. There was no dishwasher tablets.
- Rebecca (10/5): -
- Jason (9/5): - Location location location
- Myf (10/5): Perfect location, clean and cosy for a busy city escape! - Location and decor It was a bit stuffy
- Colin (8/5): Small but mighty , comfy apartment to end a busy day out in Melbourne. - Fantastic spot , close to everything , comfy beds There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.
- Paul (7/5): Great location, small but comfortable, good hosts - Location, cosey feel, good price Warm in the apartment, so sheets and blankets would have been better than a thick duvet. Pillows were too soft
- Ibone (10/5): - Excepcional. Todo inmejorable. Me encanto todo
- Astrid (6/5): - No Windows in 2. Bedroom
- Sally (8/5): - The location is awesome, the place is lovely, and the beds are cozy. We enjoyed our stay and could sleep well. Will definitely stay there again if we go to Melbourne. Thank you. (1) The communication was bad. She just replied once to my texts, why did you give the phone number if you can't communicate with it? 😞
(2) So much stuff inside the small apartment, I meant like so many books, accessories, laundry (bedsheets, towels, etc) inside the dryer, and vases that should not be there because we have no space to put our belongings 🙂
(3) Additionally, it would be nicer if you have a rice cooker 😉
- Claire (8/5): - Location was great. Cute little apartment, nice and clean with comfy beds.
- Graiza (10/5): - I booked this for my mum and two kids and Charlene was exceptionally kind and accomodating :) The place was very tidy, the location was perfect and would definitely recommend if you're wanting to explore Melbourne.
- Rachael (9/5): -
- Cherie (8/5): - Location, quite access to kitchen Nothing
- Muhammad Akmal (10/5): - Great stay. Definitely will come again
- Lorraine (6/5): Great place to get around Melb, needs a few tweaks to improve it - The proximity to most places - walking distances .
Trendy little place
Charlene very accommodating in letting us come in early with our bags . Wifi kept dropping out so you had to keep putting it back in . You have to connect your Netflix, Stan account to watch tv but can’t watch free to air . Shower pressure was weak and water in shower did not get hot . Noise from outside downstairs meant you needed to keep window in bedroom closed at all times but still could hear it .

- Narelle (8/5): Great price and great location. - Perfect location for city events. Good amount of space.
- Brent (10/5): -
- Matthew (8/5): Lovely little place in the heart of Melbourne. - Ease of access and description for finding the key. Lovely location and the house has a nice setup and all the amenities that one would need. I couldn't get a response from the owner about an early check-in, I emailed a week prior to check-in and again followed up with a message a few days before however they was no response. The beds didn't look like they had been changed. They didn't look dirty, however unmade and slept in. There were a few broken items in the apartment and some loud noises from locals.
- Lynda (9/5): Superb - The location of this apartment is perfect.
The apartment is amazing.
- Shauna (8/5): Very good -
- Naomie (9/5): Cosy little place - Great location and super cute and cosy. Was perfect for an overnight stay. Only little things - no toaster in the kitchenette and was very hot overnight. But would still stay again!
- Stella (9/5): Property was super clean and everything imaginable was in the apartment. The location was amazing. - It was very easy to get the keys from the lock box. Host gave great instructions on where and how to get the key. Nothing
- Cali (10/5): Cutest little apartment right in the city - It was so cute and close to everything. Fiona was also super helpful and very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely come back to stay here next time I’m in Melbourne.
- Susie (8/5): Very good - Great location. Clean, well equipped. Had a bit of trouble seeing the numbers on the lock box - using glasses to read, the box is a bit high up for a short person to see.
No free to air TV so couldn't even watch the news.
The stairs are a bit precarious for old people - this would be worth a mention in the description of the apartment.
- Rachel (9/5): Great value for money and super cozy in the heart - Super cosy and very central. Lovely touches and well furnished. It’s a little airless but we just used the aircon to keep cool.
- Zoe (9/5): Perfect inner city location with homely comfort. - The location of this cozy apartment is amazing. Right next to Melbourne Central and so handy for all CBD activities. It was quieter than expected given its location. It was well appointed, very clean and the beds were very comfortable. A lovely place to unwind after a long day or night in town. The only thing is that there are no external windows. Only two small windows facing an interior shaft with very little natural light. There are air cons in both bedrooms though, which helped make sure there was air flow. We were very busy while there, so it was more about a comfortable and cozy place to land at night.
- Heath (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dale (8/5): Very good -
- Nhat (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paula (8/5): Very good -
- Sara (1/5): Don't stay here - Nothing. Do.not stay here. Unsafe. Property is misrepresented. Unsafe. Unclean. In disrepair. We were unable to sleep here.
Poor communication. No one is listening
- Grace (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mcintosh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (9/5): This was cosy, centrally located and perfect for 1 night. - It was the perfect location right in the middle of the city, the building had a lot of history and the apartment was very cosy. The windows are to a shaft so there is no natural light
- Haidah (10/5): Exceptional - loved the location. the anterior design, styling and all the facilities provided made this apartment feel very homey and cozy. my family and i were very stunned by the styling the moment we entered the apartment. the water pressure and heater were good, and we loved the beds as well.
- Carla (1/5): Horrible Property Management & Not Family Friendly - Any chance that there was to like this accommodation was diminished by the poor behaviour and response from the property management team and owners. If you are planning to stay here as a family with little ones needing cots, they are not able to provide adequate cot. What they do provide is a bassinet that is only suitable for 0-3months. When requesting a cot and when ypu reach reach out to the management team, they tell you to go and buy your own cot or cancel your booking at your own expense.
When you lodge a request for a full refund, they cease all communications with you and booking.com despite numerous emails and phone calls.
- Susan (10/5): Absolutely Amazing location and gorgeously styled compact apartment - The location was perfect. I don’t think you can get a more central Melbourne apartment than this one. The styling was perfect. We walked in and felt like we were transported to Paris. We would step out and be in the centre of the shopping district with hardware lane and other foodie laneways only a couple of blocks away with the bonus of many rooftop bars extremely close. Air con throughout the apartment during the hot days was a blessing. Well worth the visit and would book again. The property was as advertised. Yes it is a small apartment and has a flight of stairs between the main floor to bedroom floors and the 2nd bedroom doesn’t have a window, but it doesn’t matter. We were there to see Melbourne, not the apartment. The beautiful styling makes you look past the above.
- Sonia (9/5): Superb - Excellent city location. Nice, clean and cosy feel for this nicely decorated appartement. Felt at home. No natural light.
- Lovell (10/5): Exceptional - The location location!
- Brian (10/5): Ideal accommodation in an ideal location. - A charming apartment in the heart of Melbourne. It has a nice little living area and two separate bedrooms upstairs (both double-bed), a good enough kitchen for basic cooking (although ventilation might be a problem if you go overboard), even a washing machine and dryer. Not a whole lot of natural light but that suited us. I always try to think about what I could reasonably expect based on what's advertised and cannot find cause to mark this down from a 10. We didn't meet hostess Charlene but all communication was clear and timely. If I had to pick a minor fault, I'm no fan of having to step into a bath-tub for a shower but that's a negligible problem.
- Dan (8/5): Perfect place for a short stay - Location and quiet Lack of natural light
- Boyd (9/5): Overall great stay and hope to stay again sometime later in the year. - Although small, was well decorated and in a great location. Hard mattress and could hear neighbours arguing most of the night.
- Ying (10/5): Exceptional -
- Simon (8/5): Great weekend spent with family - Location Having free to air tv would have been nice
- Gayle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jodi (9/5): Perfect - Amazing location
Lovely decor, comfortable beds, lots of thoughtful additions No issues
- Natasha (9/5): Superb - Great stay in a extremely convenient CBD location - Thank you!
- Kimalee (10/5): It was perfect location, close to everything and sooo convenient. I will definitely stay here again and such a great pri - It was all so beautiful and all the little touches in the home and the little extras Nothing it was perfect
If I were to make comment on something, it would be the pressure of the shower but nothing to pick at and parking but that’s not the fault of the owner
- Jenny (9/5): Convenient and comfortable apartment with two bedrooms for our stay in the city. - Location was perfect. Easy to get to and from. The instructions to access, to use and to leave the apartment were clear. Charlene was responsive to messages and questions. The beds and the living space were comfortable and clean.
- Cherie (10/5): Cosy duplex - Loved the location. Someone who is autistic I loved that I could recharge in a quiet space. Access to a kitchen was fantastic as my daughter is coeliac with allergies, so food could be cooked in a kitchen. Nothing.
- Angela (10/5): The cutest apartment - the place is so cute,it's like home away from home. the house smells nice and it's clean. its close to everything too. nothing
- Linda (7/5): Good - Great location, though a little hard to find at first.
It was well stocked.
Everything was super close. One of the beds was a little hard for my liking and the water in the shower didn't want to warm up but the owner was very responsive to our queries which was great
- Rhana (10/5): The cutest home away from home! - SO much to like! This is the cutest and most comfortable stay in Melbourne. It has to be! Everything you could possibly need and then some. Clean, comfortable, excellent facilities and the location is close to almost everything. If I visit Melbourne again I will try and stay here again. ;) As a heritage building I think the hot water can be used up in peak times. Schedule your shower for the morning or early afternoon and you’ll be fine.
