Guest Reviews
- Tharanie (8/5): - The location was great, plenty of linen, comfy beds The front yard was overgrown and looked unkempt, and the screen door was broken
- Guy (9/5): It really is a very comfortable home in a lovely neighbourhood - The location was perfect - 10 minutes walk to the MCG and 5 minutes to various bars and restaurants. It’s a very nice, safe area. I lost my driving license and the owner Ric found it when cleaning up and kindly arranged for it to be couriered to our next destination in Adelaide- some owners would not have gone that extra mile. The kitchen and bathrooms are a little dated but clean and more than adequate. You generally get what you pay for on Booking.com but the location more than makes up for anything negative.
- Frank (7/5): Great house, value for money and helpful hosts - Central location, near the park and CBD, clean and comfortable house, private carpark and responsive hosts The central heater is a little bit old and noisy but we had small heaters in the rooms.

- Wensley (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful home, great for a family to stay in and very close to the MCG and Swan Street for food and shopping. Off street parking, the house is cosy and just what we needed. Great host, very approachable and kind mailing our fire stick back home after we forgot to pack it.
- Joanne (9/5): Superb -
- Mike (8/5): Very good -
- Deana (10/5): Highly recommended, just great all round. - The location was perfect for our trip. Superb coffee shop close by. Off street secure parking. Cosy but roomy accommodation. Loved it. We'd go back and stay again for sure. You couldn't ask for more :)
- Sandee (8/5): Very easy and prompt communication. Parking via rear garage. Brilliant location. Will definitely sta - The location was sensational! Easy walk to access to AAMI park (MCG and Rod Laver) as well as the Moomba festival. The BEST cafe within 100m. As well to shops etc. Property was clean and well serviced with all the perks. No a/c. In all fairness, the home had ceiling fans and stayed relatively cool considering that particular weekend was exceptionally hot (not the usual Melbourne weather you’d expect).
- Claudia (7/5): Great location- close to all major hospitals, sporting arenas, dog-friendly parks & restaurants. - It was very easy to communicate with the hosts via Booking.com. and Whatsapp. They were always pleasant and responded quickly to our enquiries. We appreciated them giving us a late checkout when requested. As an added bonus, they also allow dogs to stay free of charge! The enclosed courtyard/backyard was perfect for our 2 small dogs. The carport is situated within this area and that enabled us to keep our dogs safe while we unpacked and packed the car. The bed was comfortable and, while basic, the home contained everything we needed for a 2 night stay. The property is centrally located and close to all major hospitals, sporting arenas, dog-friendly parks and restaurants. The December temperature was warm and muggy during our stay. The ceiling fan in the bedroom helped but it would have been useful to have additional fans in the lounge/dining area.

- Carmen (10/5): We had an amazing time, fantastic communication with the owner Ric throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend to al - 4 adults, 1 boy aged 4yrs old loved the location and how easily it was to get to public transport networks. Tram and bus networks were less than a 10 minute walk away, to take you right around Melbourne and beyond. Rod laver/AAMI Park/MCG where 10-15 mins walk away.
Coles supermarket and all the different types of pubs, restaurants, bottle shops, cafes etc were in a 10min walking distance away from the house.
The property had everything we needed plus more. We loved how it had two bathrooms inside the house. One bathroom had a walk in shower, handbasin and toilet, the other bathroom had a bath tub and handbasin, two toilets one being inside the house, one being outside the house near the back garage for anyone who was outside and needed to go. The back door never fully locked. We think it might have being the change in the weather because the door has moved slightly, the lock on the door didn’t quiet match up to slot in the door frame. It wasn’t of concern as the back roller garage door area is fully locked and sealed. No one could get in.
- Scarlett (8/5): Very good -
- Adrienne (10/5): Exceptional - This was a great house so clean, lovely area. Ric was a fantastic host.
- Jessica (8/5): Great comfortable home with enough space to spread out a bit and close to the city and great suburbs. - Great retro decor. Two bathrooms
- James (7/5): Nice little place, close Aami Park. - It was very close to Aami stadium. Nice looking little home. It didn't have air conditioning. I wish I thought to check this when booking. The weather was too hot.
- Shelley (10/5): Exceptional - Central Big and comfortable
- Cathie (8/5): Comfortable as advertised. Handy for our stay. - Location Run down
- Stacey🏹 (8/5): Very good -

The cleanest home I have ever stayed in . Parking wasn’t easy
- Kassandra (9/5): Great property. Very close to everything. Only a 5 minute walk to AAMI park. - Great property. Very close to everything. Only a 5 minute walk to AAMI park.
- Nigel (8/5): Great Location and Dog Friendly - Location
Dog park at end of street
Wonderful old style Cafe within 80m
Off street secure parking. Back door didn't lock.
- Sally (10/5): We had a great stay and would book again. - The rooms were well furnished and the house was very clean. The owner was excellent to work with and replied quickly to all questions and requests. Accessing the rear of the property was a little tricky due to the one way streets in the area.
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sheree (10/5): Exceptional - Super clean and great location
- Clare (8/5): Very good -
- Brent (9/5): Top location. - Great location. Easy walk to trams and trains, close to Bridge Rd and sooo close to the G. Great communication from host, very clean and had everything we needed. Kitchen and bathroom dated, and house really cold (granted, it was the depths of winter...)
- Andy (7/5): Good -
- Kimberley (10/5): Little gem - This place was amazing the location is just perfect close enough to the city to walk but still has everything right nearby. Rear access parking big enough for a 4wd. Everything you need including a laundry and the host also supplies eco friendly zero products throughout the home for you to use which is amazing... Do yourselves a favour and book this great place to stay. The only thing was that the beds middle foot was missing so we found the bed A bit saggy in the middle. This was in both rooms but not really a negative as the beds were still comfortable.
- Michael (8/5): Comfy house in a great location. - Location is fantastic. The house was very clean and contains everything you need. Off street car parking is a big advantage too. Walking distance to the MCG, shops, cafes, pubs...
