Guest Reviews
- Ann-Marie (10/5): Great stay, great location, apartment had everything - It’s location and the instructions from the host were fantastic, lovely unit to stay in Nothing
- Natasha (1/5): -
- Lydia (8/5): - Location is fantastic! Only a 20 minute walk to Suncorp stadium. Getting keys from lockbox a little tricky, but all good once you work it out.
- Tuvale Winnie (8/5): Excellent location. Would highly recommend - Liked the view and how spacious it was. Also convenient getting around the city. Had issues with the lock box which inconvenienced my Daughter and I by 3 hours. We were planning on hitting the pool but because of the time wasted, we didn’t get to do that due to other plans we had in the following days. That part was the only let down but other than that, we enjoyed our stay there.
- Amanda (10/5): We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again. The staff were very accommodating. - The property met all my expectations. It was at a convenient location and had everything I needed for our stay.
- Kellyanne (10/5): - The view and funky layout and lots of windows and felt homely was a nice wee apartment, was easy to access keys from the email sent with directions and was able to store luggage in apartment
Would stay again Hot tub comes with room wording on booking.com, its actually a spa on a higher level not in room and was that full of chemicals couldn't stay in it and its shared by whole building, this didnt effect our stay, also entrance is on Peel street building 2 around the corner from physical address, also dont have access to roof top pool as per photos but there was a nice one on level 8
- Maria (5/5): This is an air bnb with dificult check in process and access from car park. - The key was in a keybox in a car park located across the building, it is a busy road not easy to cross with a baby and a toddler. The access to the apartment from the carpark is not easy at all as you have to go downstairs, not easy access with a pram and suitcases. I didnt like to have to pay a surcharge of $17 dol for a deposit of $500 also required to be able to do an online check in. It took a week to have the $500 returned. This is not a hotel, or a service apartment. It is an air bnb.
- Leah (1/5): Bad - Location I had a deeply disappointing experience during my recent stay. The deposit advertised on the website was double what they charged. Even more concerning was the fact that despite over a week passing since my departure, my deposit has yet to be returned.
Upon arrival, I discovered that the apartment had been divided into two units, a studio and a two-bedroom apartment. Strangely, the keys provided opened both units, The person staying next door opened my front door. I felt extremely unsafe staying here. The customer service is extremely poor, they expect that you leave the apartment as you found it, or you will be charged a cleaning fee. The check in experience was messy, had to pick up keys from a lock box in a car park across the road.
Despite reaching out to the host multiple times to address these concerns via text, I have yet to receive any acknowledgment or resolution. This lack of responsiveness is especially disappointing considering my previous positive experiences with hosts on other platforms like Airbnb.
Frankly, I am astounded that such substandard service is tolerated on a platform like Booking.com
- Scott (4/5): Disappointing - The apartment was clean and a great size. The pictures for the property are not true to the property. There is no roof top pool that you have access to and you are unable to see the views that it shows. We purchased this property as we thought we could see the NYE fireworks because that is what is shown in the photos. To arrive and find that we could not was beyond disappointing.
Also nowhere does it state that the basement parking requires the use of stairs to get to the foyer. This made it extremely difficult to get out luggage to the floor where there were lifts.
- Marcia (7/5): Good - Location Car park
- David (7/5): Good - There is only one set of keys. The payment was tricky as it goes through 3rd party.
- Bill (6/5): Pleasant -
- Morgan (5/5): Passable - All kitchen items were dirty. Apartment wasn't very clean.
Hard to park the car and get items to the apartment.
- Steven (6/5): Comfortable for short stay in Brisbane - Convenient location, modern facilities, good laundry Poor storage in wardrobes, difficult to navigate car park, small living area, balcony questionable safety for toddler, difficulty entering apartment with pram via two doors
- Emma (4/5): Contacted property a week before stay to say I hadn’t made payment for the booking yet and asked for it to be sorted- no - . Lounge chair way too small to accomodate a 2 bedroom apartment, gap in the balcony railing so would not recommend having children stay at this location as that is a safety hazard.
Contacted property a week before stay to say I hadn’t made payment for the booking yet and asked for it to be sorted- no reply. On the day of my booking, got contacted to say they hadn’t received my payment and then had to spend the next 2 hours sorting it because they had issues on their end. Lock box wouldn’t open and I couldn’t get in contact with anyone for assistance. Booking took a $400 deposit (on the phone they told me they were taking $300 deposit). After check out I followed up on the Tuesday to ask when I would get my deposit back, was told it was being released today.. 5 days later had to follow up again about deposit and they replied saying they had to follow up to see if I was eligible to get my deposit back. Safe to say this experience has ruined me ever booking through booking.com or a private party ever again- will always book through the hotel moving forward to say the stress and stuff around.
- Renae (10/5): Was so handy to walk to QPAC to see a show. Great location! - Great location to Qpac and Southbank
- Cathy (8/5): Very good -
