Die Lage ist traumhaft und die Unterkunft sehr charmant. Mir persönlich hat noch ein Spiegel im Zimmer gefehlt und aus dem Heißwasserhahn in der Dusche hat es sehr heiß getropft.

- LMG (5/5): Cramped space in a rustic setting beachside - Best location steps from beach and all the food cabanas. Good ac and hot water. Very good breakfast. Rustic setting like hostal. The food in the beach cabanas is very tasty with lots of choices, and large cold coconuts right there. Three calm dogs on property always walking around if you like animals. Claustrophobic room with very basic, aged fixtures. If you are an average sized American and used to staying in regular hotels this is not for you. We are small sized but the room space is cramped for two persons. Perfect for Chinese or Asian people. The published room photos are exaggerated. Pricing not justified; you should be able to find better at that rate. Be careful, you can lock yourself inside your room if you misplace the key as there is no inside latch but only a key lock on both sides of the door. No flushing of toilet paper.

- Cynthia (9/5): Great beach hotel. - The location is great, as close to the beach as you can get. The upper floors have lovely balconies with hammocks, chairs, and views of the ocean. The breakfast menu is very good and also reasonably priced. We loved the banana pancake and the fruit salad. The AC worked very well in the room and was much appreciated since the climate in this part of Ecuador is generally hot and humid. There was hot water every day. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful, and our room was so nicely cleaned every day. The hotel has a few dogs. It’s impossible to have breakfast without a dog at your feet. Plus, there is the smell of wet dog in the breakfast area, especially after a rain. And there was a lot of rain during our stay. If you’re a dog person, this isn’t a big deal, and even if there were no dogs living at the hotel, you’d encounter lots of stray dogs on the beach and on the streets.

The room was incredibly tiny and had zero decoration. For the same price, you can stay at Hotel Kundalini in Montanita which is A LOT nicer and has a TV with Netflix.

- Sergey (10/5): Perfect! - You are on the beach but it is quiet. All of the best restaurants and just steps out the door. Best Ceviche is at Noah's. Fresh Coco Helado also just outside the hotel. The staff was amazing and took care of anything I needed. They did my laundry, gave me glasses and ice for cold beers while I enjoyed the view. Hector was just incredibly attentive and took care of everything at any time. Great surfing just outside. Power outages but they were country wide.

I paid $18.00 more than quoted on Booking .com with some $10 fee and then a tax who knows? The WIFI did not work all weekend. The owner would not allow me to bring a guest to my room which should be put into the listing. Just because some dumb guests had problems the rest of us now pay the price of their stupidity.

- Joanna (8/5): Friendly staff & right by the beach, but overpriced for out of season - The staff were very friendly & willing to help. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean was beautiful! The beach was a couple of seconds from the front door, as we're many restaurants. Clean & comfortable, excellent WiFi connection & great local recommendations :) They had no laundry service as their machine had broken. I feel the price was quite hefty for the small room I got, which didn't include breakfast. There were building works going on, starting very early in the morning, and I had builders passing my bedroom window all day (the curtains didn't cover the whole window & anybody could look in).
