- Fabian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christos (9/5): Superb -
- Denise (8/5): Very good - Great area, close to all the main attractions, shops and restaurants very handy. Plenty of room in the apartment. The only thing to complain about would be the shower and no water pressure. But it was survivable! We would still recommend this place to others.
- Nicola (7/5): A perfect and exciting location to explore Rome, ancient and modern. - The location is fantastic. It was exciting to arrive right by Portico d’Ottavia and feel our holiday had begun. The apartment makes you feel you are living like a contemporary Roman. It was lovely looking out into the courtyards from the balcony to the orange tree. The small streets behind the property are charming. The adults found the beds clean and comfortable. The WiFi works efficiently. The vacuum cleaner is great. Living like a contemporary Roman here includes a lot of city noise from the front of the building with its bustle and restaurants. Evening noise was social chatter and laughter, but also screaming from gulls attacking the rubbish as it’s put out. Mornings were usual city noise of traffic, sirens and bins being emptied. This bothered the two in the party sleeping at the front. The bathroom is rather small and water drained away slowly. We could have used some breakfast bowls for yogurt and fruit. The sink and cooker area is built for a very tall person. Not all the appliances worked.
- Gijs (9/5): Fantastic place for Rome. - Great location, quick contact with the host. Good for the Highlights as well as trastevere
- Delia (8/5): Practical economical choice - Location was excellent for wandering around Romes tourism areas. The space was large enough for family of 5. Aircon good. WiFi strong. Everything was just a little tired. Very much a lived in space. If you are happy to go for value and proximity then its a good choice.
- Jörgen (9/5): Our 6 person family had a very pleasant 5 night stay. - Great location, walking distance to many attractions and museums. Good air condition. Price was good for a big family (6 persons). It is an older apartment but it was clean and had nice caracter. A bit noisy for those two sleeping closest to the restaurant street (if going to bed early as we did). A bit small shower cabin for the ”heavily buildt” persons.
- Vicky (10/5): Beds were comfortable brilliant spot for restaurants. I don’t think you could do better for the cost of the property. - This property was authentically Italian. There was hustle and bustle of the on your doorstep restaurants which were excellent and then out of the back little balcony beautiful peace and quiet with fruit trees growing on neighbouring properties. Everything was on your doorstep. The Trastevere area was just over the bridge and a quick walk to catch the hop on hop off bus. our group of four loved it. Central location unauthentic of the property itself
- Rachael (10/5): Beautiful location, clean, and convenient for Rome centre. - The location was amazing, directly next to the pictured ruins which are well worth exploring. It is at the end of a street with many restaurants, and walking distance to many of the main Rome attractions. The host was easy to contact and gave a lot of local knowledge, as well as helping with booking of taxis, and letting us add an extra person late in the day. The apartment was clean and had many facilities including a full kitchen (though as we were out all day we did not take full advantage). Not a negative for us but worth noting the apartment is up 2 steep flights of stairs. Also there is one small combined shower room and toilet, which took some coordination between the 6 of us that stayed.
- Marina (10/5): Host is very pleasant and communication was great - Location , layout
