Guest Reviews
- Nicholas (9/5): Wonderful place - Forget comfort and enjoy a fantastic immersive experience in a wonderful location Ideale per massimo 1-2 notti
- Peter (10/5): - Neskutočný zážitok ubytovania priamo v prírode
- Arman (10/5): -
- Dmitrii (10/5): - A beautiful place, a sea with reefs, many buildings, large portions of food,
- Zsuzsanna (10/5): Peaceful nights and authentic experience - This is a real gem near Sharm el Sheik. I stayed here as a solo traveller and I had no doubts that I am safe here. The manager speaks English and he took care of me in a very professional manner. I was surpised about the quality and the variety of food I was served with 3 times a day. Cold water and Coke was always available.
If I wanted I could go to snorkell alone in the morning or in the afternoon when less people are around. Yes, some small tour groups are also coming here to snorkell, but for me it was a blessing that i dont need to go to the sea alone. They eat in a different location, so you can still have your privacy near to your tent for food and relaxation. There is a lovely beautiful cat in the camp if you need company during your stay, but she knows where is her place if she is not welcome. So no hassle at all. The silence and the stars at night are just priceless! The place is safe at night as it is surrounded by soldiers. There is nothing I didn't like, but few things to mention: overnight stay in the National Park is extra 10 dollars per night. Organise your transport ahead. I used an App for that and requested a pick-up for the day of leaving. Take a powerbank and a good book if you are alone.

- Daniel (10/5): Stars, sea and Egyptian food - 10/10 - This was the highlight of my trip in Egypt. I have travelled around a lot and few places were as magical as Ras Mohammed, the beachfront and coral reef was spectacular but the real gem was the night sky, a thousand stars and constellations as clear as ever (stay up until 12-2am to see the best stars. The staff were excellent and cooked 3 amazing authentic Egyptian meals, I couldn’t recommend this experience more. Nothing not to like but a few tips for people: order a taxi online as it’s cheaper. Showers are water buckets overhead which is fine for the location. Bring a portable battery. We also had to give our passports in whilst in the national park which is just part of the security, we got them back with no problem when we left.
- Swailam (10/5): - I spent two nights camping in Ras Mohamed, and it was one of the most serene and well-organized experiences I've had. The staff at the camp were absolutely wonderful—polite, attentive, and genuinely helpful. From the moment I arrived, everything ran smoothly: the setup was clean and well-maintained, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was calm and welcoming.
You can feel that the team puts real care into every detail, and it made all the difference. Whether you're looking for quiet reflection in nature or a friendly, well-run base to explore the park, this camp is a gem. Highly recommended—and I’ll definitely be back!
- Venera (10/5): Хочу сказать огромное спасибо управляющему и персоналу кемпинга! Это было незабываемо! Чистый пляж, -

- Elena (9/5): Unique experience - Incredible experience: tents, desert and beautiful beach and reef. Wake up in the morning and swim in a natural aquarium is priceless. All the staff is very kind and ready to help. Exceptional the visits organised in the Ras Mohammed park. Really recommended, something unique!
- Marcello (4/5): Disappointing - Why Two stars?
To resume : - price on booking is almost 3 times higher (for the same price you will have a five stars resort double room).
-the menager try to take advantage of you
-this is not an Ecolodge : the expérience is very good but the facilities aren’t worth 75 euros per person per night
Extended version : the place is wonderful, located In the heart of the national park Ras Mohamed. You will sleep in a tent in front of the sea, you will look at the stars close to fire in the night. The snorkeling is pretty good.
But …the real price per night per person meals included is 30 dolars (which is pretty expensive even for the egyptian standard as several couples of locals confirmed).
I actually paid 75 euros via Booking and the difference is not for sure due to the agency fees.
You must add 10 dolars per day per person to enter the park and stay the night.
The local menager proposed us to arrange a transfert from Sharm el Sheik for 100 euros, way and back for two persons (100 dollars with his special discount…). It sounded really too much : we negociated 30 euros way and back with a local taxi. The menager proposes us a day excursion to discover the park for 80 dolars for two persons…We had the same program with a local taxi for 35 euros….
This kind of attitude is very annoyng and disrespectful.
I’ve travelled a lot. Just to precise : I am not pretentious, I appreciate simplicity, the place was lovely…. but this is not a luxury ‘Eco lodge’ so the price sold on booking is not justified at all. Toilettes and shower are really basics made of empty jericans. The facilities are the ones of a bedouin settlement (created on an economical purpose). In the morning starting from 10h00 hundreds of tourists will land by bus to do snorkelling and drink the tea. That's great for their business to which I wish all the best but this doesn't not correspond to the ‘’peaceful oasis'’ the announce details.
- Timo (1/5): Solo travelers get charged 8x more for the same tent – no structure, no support. - I stayed here as a solo traveler and paid around 80 euros per night. While on-site, I encountered an Italian tour group who paid 10 euros per night for the exact same setup – including meals, lighting, and a guided group program. That probably explains many of the high ratings.
As an individual guest, however, you get:
– no proper infrastructure,
– no transfers,
– no security,
– no coordination or communication,
– and a non-lockable tent in the middle of nowhere.
The advertised “all-inclusive” label is misleading at best. Food is sporadic, staff speak barely any English, and there’s zero organization.
Warning to solo travelers – especially women:
If you’re traveling alone and considering this as a nature experience, be cautious. The lack of security measures and organized support could pose significant challenges, particularly for female travelers.
Conclusion:
This place is fine only if you arrive with a pre-arranged tour group that handles everything for you – at a fraction of the price.
For everyone else: avoid.
What you get for 80 euros is nothing but a lesson in tourist pricing traps.
I fully expect the property to respond to this review – just as they responded to my messages during the stay.
I leave it to future guests to compare their words with the facts on the ground.
- Inna (10/5): Exceptional - So beatifull location. Food is tasty.Staff is so nice and friendly.Thx.
Little advice:take power bank and something for mosquitoes(there are some in tent at night)
