Room is quite small and there are lots of steps up and no elevator. The staff was nice, took care of our laundry and very good communication over WhatsApp with the owner in english. There was a price difference from our booking.com invoice and the propertys invoice and we appreciate that we can very good communication about it! The location is super central in old town, right next to mainstreet. The place to go out at night, so be aware that is can be loud until about 1am. We did not know the mainstreet would be so noisy that late. Location would mostly suit people who want to go out late in the evening.

The old windows didn’t shut properly so they’re useless. The owner wasn’t there when I turned up about 7:30pm… still couldn’t get hold of him an hour later… in a panic tried booking another hotel at twice the price due to short notice then he rocked up! My advice, avoid this place like the plague!

The guy working at reception was very friendly and helpful and even managed to book me 1 extra day without having to move rooms. There was nothing I did not like, I knew exactly what I had booked and everything was up to my expectations.

• Wendy (8/5): Very typical of the old quarter of Hanoi. - Nice little place , right in the center of the old quarter. Nicely decorated. The staff was very helpful with my very early arrival! We could pick up the key and wait in the lobby, and leave our luggage until the room was ready. At the end of our stay he managed the cab to the airport!!! Well if you are annoyed or sensitive to noise, this place is not for you. We were not bothered, and the noise stopped early.

After that, drunk people continued to hang around under the windows and make noise until 2–3 a.m. Additionally, there was no hot water, and the bathroom needed a thorough cleaning. What we liked: The location is in the heart of the Old Quarter. The room looked nice and at least had a window (other hotels in this price category normally don’t have windows). The price was reasonable (apparently, to compensate for the noise).

Perfect for staying in Hanoi. I was afraid of the noise but as a young couple we are able to sleep anyhow!

Also the receptionist waited on my last day until evening with my bags I left there until my night bus. No window but given the proximity of the beer street maybe this was a plus as it's a bit loud outside, but it's pretty ok inside the room
• Hesham (5/5): My opinion - The receptionist was helpful and friendly, and he made me love staying in the place. Not clean toilet and towels . Bad smell in room 101 coming from the kitchen. At night the place is noisy because of the bars. Early in the morning, there is a competition between the screaming of an old woman and the barking of a dog.
• Annabelle (8/5): Good basic accommodation with everything you need - The room was very big and had everything needed and was clean and the bed very comfortable. Small kitchen area and table and fridge. Check in was easy and was able to WhatsApp to get details when I couldn't find the entrance. Very fast response. We were on the ground floor so it was very loud but that was expected as we knew we were right on beer street. The accommodation was basic but exactly as expected for the price so no complaints.

• Bryła (1/5): Avoid this place if you’re looking for quiet and clean room! - Localization is good but so close to the beer street and the walls are made of paper that you can hear every sound - even normal talking from the outside. Not sure why this hotel has so high rating on Google and Booking, no one cleaned this for months! We checked-in, noted that bedsheets and towels are full of stains. The staff replaced the bedsheets for another one-also full of stains and replaced it again for another one - „cleaner”. We decided to wash our pillow cases in dry clean place as everything seemed so dirty. We did’t get clean towels despite the complaint so we used our personal towels. Bathroom - TOTAL DISASTER, we had a used razor left next to the sink, some left paper (asked for additional), bathroom sink and shower didn’t see any cleaning equipment for a veeeeery long time. I understand the low price, but come on! The place should be cleaned after each guests! I would give 0 stars if possible. Room next to reception has no warm water - needed to take a shower upstairs in my friends room!

• Ubeyratna (8/5): Overall, I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a budget stay at a central location in Hanoi 😊 - I was very happy with my stay here for 2 nights. The room is worth the rate although it’s relatively small. The place has an old but good vibe to it and is centrally located in the Old Quarter, so getting to most sites are quite convenient. The manager was helpful and accommodating. They had toiletries and a few snacks + drinks in the fridge. The reception has a few good books for guests to browse too. The only minuses are that it’s close to Beer Street so there will be the expected noise and music well into the night. Also the water pressure was quite low and the shower could use a bit of work.

It's a bar street near the facility. Bars closed at 12 , but there were still some drunk European people who were arguing too loudly. It was hard to find the facility...It's not in the main street but in the hidden lane A little bit overpriced.. But I think it's very good for people who want to live near the bar street in the center

It’s super close to Beer street so you have your pick of evening excitement. because it’s further down the alley, it’s surprisingly quiet. Yes you do hear some noise but it’s very reasonable. The mattress is quite hard, so took a little bit of getting used to. The hot water didn’t run for very long.

The front of desk staff was helpful and polite, he help us to arrange parking for our bike overnight and also kept out luggage safe after checking out so we could continue to explore during our last few free hours in the city. There isn’t anything we didn’t like. However, if you intend to book a room here, bare in mind the rooms are not big so if you have lots of luggage then it might make the floor space cramped unless your diligent enough to use to cabinets provided.
• Nicolette (10/5): This is the most comfortable and perfect hostel you’ll ever be in. 10 out of 10! it’s - I like everything! The location, the cleanliness, the staff, the entirety of this accommodation was really perfect! it’s in the middle of the action means that it’s right next to the famous Beer Street and local food stalls are everywhere, beer and coffee shops too! everything you need is within it’s reach as it’s in the city center of Old Quarter. The room was very clean, smells so good and we really like the furnitures and beddings. Feels like we are in a 5-star hotel. ⭐️ The staff arranged everything for us, including the airport pick up and drop off when we leave. He also advised us where to exchange money and all the shops nearby around the area. What you see in their picture is what you will get + unlimited drinking water which I really like. Very helpful host/staff and most especially it’s really safe. Thank you Annie’s little hanoi. We will definitely book this again when we come back in Hanoi. Nothing. Everything for me was perfect.

The bar next door is so ridiculously noisy until midnight when the music stops, but TBH I should have checked location better - I booked for two nights but checked out after one as couldn’t stay there.
• Shivam (8/5): Overall very pleasant experience! - It was located right in the center of the old quarter so most places of interest were near and mostly walkable. Our host was very helpful and arranged for a motorbike rental and taxi for the airport. This property is in dead center of the old quarter market and that market gets very loud at night. Noise can be heard till as late as 2am on weekends. There is no option to pay with cards. They only accept cash.
