The welcome care package was much appreciated. . somewhere to dry the bathing suits and towels after using the hot tub would have been nice.

- V.E.H.S (10/5): Pleasant stay - Very Cool One bedroom suite. Super clean. Private and had a Private cute yard in front. I had no problem with Spiral Staircase to bedroom. There Was a room with two big beds for 4 person of a family.
We had full amenities in kitchen, With a fridge which our land lord/lady left berries, yogurt, muffins, Coffee Cream. We didn't use outdoor hot tub, afraid of september weather. Never hear a bark from a dog ( others mentioned).
Situated in a nice nieghberhood.Recomended. Nothing to Complain , Just Not good for two families as they must sleep in same room.
- christine (10/5): very enjoyable and restful and have recommended to a few people - the bkfst was very nice - really appreciated the extremely comfortable bed - the area was very quiet which was what I had tried to find - usually stay in Courtenay but it is getting too noisy and busy now - also was nice to be between Royston and
Union Bay and visit different areas this time - great shower and nice amenities everything I needed in the kitchen - except I could not find a strainer !!
would have been nice to meet Sarah and Wes to tell them stay was so nice
- Vanessa Jana (10/5): -

- Nicole (9/5): - Beautiful 2 levels suite, hot tub, lots of outdoor space, very comfortable beds No one to meet us
Sturdy spiral staircase, may not be for everyone
- Leegion (10/5): - Everything was lovely.. the decor, the breakfast touch wrapped in purple ribbon. Hot tub and soaker tub were heavenly after a long 80 day stretch of working. The only complaint is the overpowering laundry detergent smell on the bedding and towels. The perfume of the soap was overpowering, I know this is a personal preference, and chemical smells aren't my thing. Other than that the bed was super comfy.
- Pauline (10/5): Delightful accommodation. - Best things - very clean, great lighting, openness of space, good size bathroom. Good size fridge, full size stove, microwave, pots &pans, dishes, cutlery - well equipped kitchen.
Lots of special little touches - delightful decor, hot tub, Treats/Breakfast - delicious muffins, fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea, creamer, popcorn, chocolates.
Easy checkin.

- Leah (10/5): Exceptional! - Beautifully put together accommodations. All the comforts of home. Loved everything about it. Lovely personal touches to make us feel so welcome. Thank you 😊 Not a thing, so happy with everything.
- Tracy (10/5): We highly recommend to others . Thankyou , for a lovely stay - Beautiful peaceful location but close to everything you need . Well designed and so comfortable . Everything was perfect .
- Li (10/5): Highly recommend!!!! - Love this house a lot. The first sight of the living area, followed by the kitchen was amazing. It was well decorated with the theme ‘Alice in the Wonderland’. Rabbits are everywhere. Kitchenware is well equipped. Bathroom is clean. Showers is good. The bed is soooo comfy. The owner really put in a lot of effort to keep this house filled with warmth. Nothing at all
- Davin (10/5): Overall great stay. Grateful for the breakfast and how everything was set up. - Very clean, great communication with the hosts. Hot tub was already on and running when we got there. We enjoyed our stay a lot. The the person who used the sofa bed said it was a bit hard and the pull out piece could run off the track.
- Angela (10/5): Beautiful private cozy place! - Everything was thought of. Perfect amount of space, privacy was awesome. Hot tub was amazing. Great quiet neighborhood. Had an excellent time in the adorable little suite! Nothing
- Baak (10/5): Peaceful, pristine, a perfectly cozy retreat - Beautiful and cozy place, in a peaceful neighborhood. We loved the serene mornings, sitting on the porch at the table with a cup of coffee. Hosts had left for us muffins, fresh berries and yogurt in the fridge - what a lovely gesture - it was delicious. Apartment was very clean and tidy throughout, bathroom was in a pristine condition, beds very comfy, we felt very much like at home.
- Stephanie (10/5): A great spot just outside of town. - Definitely a hidden gem in the Valley. Absolutely quaint and comfortable. Awesome location close to the ocean, clean quiet neighbourhood. Appreciated the communication and the breakfast goodies :) Would definitely look to stay here again the next time. It was absolutely wonderful.
- Fleming (8/5): Very good - Loved the theme and the treats that were provided Didn't like having to strip the beds.. thinking it would be something that the host would take care of.
- Marco (10/5): Highly recommended! - Everything was perfect and the communication was always smooth!
- J (9/5): Lovely - Super cute and clean. Had everything we needed. Breakfast snacks were a super nice touch
- Jonathan (10/5): I had an excellent time at the White Rabbit Inn. The room was very functional, comfortable and the surroundings were ver -
- Christine (9/5): Superb - The Inn is very private. The white rabbit theme is cute without being over the top. The king-sized bed was exceptional. The continental breakfast items were delicious and everything was very clean. It was rainy during our stay so we could not enjoy the fire pit but the hot tub was available. It was a really nice area to go for walks in. The only con we can think of was the road noise.
- Crystal (10/5): Beautiful and cozy - So impeccably clean! Very comfortable and private. The staircase is neat, but a bit scary during evening trips to the bathroom.
- Brittany (10/5): Awesome - It was awesome and they were so friendly and helpful going the extra mile to help us each day to make our stay exceptional
- Judith (7/5): Good -
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (9/5): Superb -
- Martina (9/5): Very cozy and would come again. - Clean, cozy, quiet, private. The Alice in Wonderland theme was cute. No cell service, and the wifi was spotty.
- Alon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Roger (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- A (9/5): Superb -
- Mandy (10/5): What a gem! - We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the White Rabbit Inn! It was the perfect spot to celebrate my birthday. Although we didn’t have the chance to meet Sarah and Wes in person, we truly felt like we were visiting close friends. They are exceptional hosts—thoughtful, generous, and always available to help, yet respectful of our privacy.
Their warmth is reflected in every aspect of the inn, which is not only inviting but also fun and incredibly comfortable. We were particularly impressed by the facilities, especially the bathroom, which felt brand new. The “Alice in Wonderland” theme added a fun touch, which created a real experience without being overdone.
We loved starting or ending our days with a short walk to the shore for sunrise or sunset, and the hot tub under the stars was a perfect way to unwind after being out adventuring all day. The spaciousness of the accommodation made it feel like a true getaway.
There’s so much more to say about how great our stay was, including the comfortable bed and homemade baking, which was a real treat! All in all, we would return in a heartbeat.
Thank you again for such a memorable experience! Nothing to add here
- Karen (9/5): Superb - Cozy, comfy, I didn't want for anything. And the muffins were delicious!
- Simone (9/5): It was a great stay for us since our 93 old father in law slept on the pull out couch/bed on the ground floor ;) - The owner Sarah not only was very responsive regarding our needs but also provided us with fresh homemade baked muffins, fruits and yogurt and cremo for coffee at our arrival. We felt very well cared for. I would highly recommend this accommodation! The spiral staircase could be a challenge for elderly people
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Christine (10/5): Stayed with a plan to ski @ mt Washington - It’s a cosy space, beautifully set up for up to 4 people comfortably. It was very reasonably priced.
- Amy (9/5): A wonderful space the hole up and relax with everything you could possibly need - books, games, all the streaming servi - Well thought out space with all
the necessities for an enjoyable and relaxing get away There was a bit of highway road noise and some repeated loud noise coming from the building. Not enough to keep is awake at night but also not entirely “peaceful “. Throw in the neighbors barking dogs every arrival and departure….
The view of the hosts living room makes the hot tub or fire pit experience less than private.
- Meredith (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cheryl (9/5): Superb -
- Wendy (10/5): It was wonderful to receive the thoughtfulness and care that the hosts intentionally included. - The White Rabbit-themed decor throughout the suite was whimsical and thoughtfully crafted. I loved the layout with the loft and spiral stairs. The snacks provided were excellent! The peaceful atmosphere was greatly appreciated. More variety of coffee pods would be a suggestion.
- Melissa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Teresa (7/5): Everything set up beautifully but stairs were hard and wifi slow except upstairs. - No breakfast per se. A wonderful snack of fruit, yogurt and delicious muffins + butter..
weather not greatest but certainly had it been then the yard was lovely to enjoy. Everything was decorated beautifully. Popcorn was available, coffee, cream etc. Owners very accommodating. The wifi was not always cooperating and we could not use our cell phone to call anyone. The stairs to the bedroom are not really for the elderly. We could not take suitcase up the stairs. That would probably be on US.
- Hanna (9/5): Great stay, wish I could have stayed longer - Lots of space, very clean, loved the hot tub. The WiFi wasn’t working very well when we where there
- Samar (10/5): A cozy, whimsical retreat with all the thoughtful details - We loved our stay at the White Rabbit Inn! The self-check-in was seamless, and the whimsical Alice in Wonderland decor gave the place so much charm. The hosts thought of everything—from a fully stocked kitchen with breakfast essentials, coffee, and treats, to a bathroom better stocked than a five-star hotel. The cozy living room, with books and board games, was perfect for rainy October days. It truly felt like a magical home away from home!
- Jeffrey (10/5): Amazing gem of a stay - Everything. The place is perfect!
- Samantha (10/5): Everything was perfect! - It was our second time staying at the White Rabbit and everything was just as perfect as the first time. The highlights were the home baking and the spa. The weather was starting to cool down so having a spa at the end of the day was the perfect way to relax! So much effort went into making sure our stay was comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!
- Katherine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kathrin (10/5): Exceptional - You cannot provide a „hotel room“ (well this is more than a normal hotel room) any better. Lots of love and effort have been put into this space. It is cleaner than most of the hotel rooms we saw during our visit in BC and it provides everything you might need in a kitchen as well as a cozy bed. A perfect base for us for some mountainbiking in Cumberland. Absolutely recommendable!
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gail (8/5): Quirky & fun - Welcoming, comfortable and spacious. Nice space. A few treats in the fridge 😀, thank you. Helpful hosts. Would recommend 😊 The spiral staircase is fun but pretty tricky to negotiate with suitcases!
- Tatana (10/5): Was a sweet and cozy stay that brought one into a reminiscence of childhood fairytales. - The cozy comfort of home is the best I can describe it- it was roomy, quiet, had all the amenities you miss in a typical hotel stay. Can’t say anything here- there isn’t a thing that comes to mind!
- Valerie (10/5): Exceptional - Decor and hot tub was a nice touch
- Sandi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fiona (10/5): Exceptional - We truly enjoyed staying at the White Rabbit Inn. It is beautiful, creative, spotless and comfortable. We love the accessories in the theme of Alice in Wonderland. The owner provided us with fresh fruits, muffins and coffee pods plus the outdoor hot tub! Kids loved the games and books too!
- Darienne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samantha (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect, it’s clear that every little detail had been thought out and we really enjoyed our stay! The spa was perfect for relaxing after a busy day exploring!!
- Alexi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matt (10/5): What a lovely space. Artistic touches, a bit of history, a hot tub (bliss)! - Breakfast was outstanding! Sarah is a skilled baker....anyone who stays here is lucky! Nothing could have been better.
- Ellen (9/5): Beautiful stay with excellent value ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - The place is private (kind of like a carriage house) and easy to access. Well furnished, a good size, and very clean. The front door of the rental faces the back door of the home and they are separated by gardens (which are gorgeous!) that offer some measure of privacy as well. It was very quiet.
I travel a lot for work and leisure. If you’ve done the same you probably know that most places, hotels or otherwise, are the same on the outside, but real quality is demonstrated in the details. This place has quality :) The towels are luxurious, the furnishings are comfortable, and the hosts thought of details like disposable razors and toothbrushes. It’s clear they are taking hospitality seriously.
The hosts include breakfast, which is left in the fridge on your arrival. For us it was fruit/berries, yogurt, baked goods from their bakery (muffins and scones), and there is a coffee machine with cream, sugar etc available. There were even some cold drinks in the fridge and ice in the freezer!
There is an inflatable hot tub which is a lovely addition.
There are carefully curated books and games to cover all age groups from kids to adults. There was popcorn and twizzlers available for movie night :)
The hosts let you know they’re available via a welcome text and by leaving a card with information, but otherwise keep to themselves.
This place has excellent value and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone. It really was lovely. The only things I can think of are (and very minor!):
The bed upstairs was a tad smaller than we’re accustomed to, but still great. If you’re larger-bodied it may be more suitable for one person.
The stairs are beautiful but located in a way that head-bonking could be a concern, but hosts have a warning and have even padded the edges of them just in case!
The neighbour’s dogs are barky when you arrive and the parking spot is about three feet from them. They aren’t aggressive, but they are protective. And there’s a fence, of course. No issue for us but if you’re scared of dogs it’s something to know about.
- V (9/5): A truly home away from home - A truly home away from home. We'll equipped kitchen, plenty of tea and coffee provided, welcome kit (lots of baked goods, fruits and more waiting for us in the fridge). Living area and bedroom, quality entertainment system. To top it off there is a hot tub outside. This is a bargain, cheaper than a budget motel, and offering first-class accommodation.
