We were told it had two Balconies but there wasn’t even one balcony. It seemed much larger in the description. It was very noisy at night with people coming in late - the noise echoed round the central courtyard We couldn’t get the coffee machine to work - different coffee making options woild have been good. The coffee pods do not make Nice coffee.

• Sylvia (8/5): Mitten im Zentrum - Wir haben die Vermieterin erst am 2. Morgen gesehen. Am ersten Morgen wußten wir nicht, wo wir frühstücken sollten, da um 8 Uhr im ganzen Haus niemand anzutreffen war Erst nach Mailkontakt wurde und mitgeteilt, dass das Frühstück ab 9.00 verfügbar sei.

• Linette (9/5): Heerlijk hotel om te verblijven. - De locatie is perfect. Op loopafstand van de oude binnenstad, bezienswaardigheden en restaurants. Het hotel heeft een erg leuke stijl , met ook leuk dakterras en het is er werkelijk brandschoon. Goed ontbijt en erg vriendelijk personeel. De badkamer is wat klein en de douche is voor wat forsere mensen wat krap.

Ein sehr angenehmes Klima zwischen Gästen und Gastgeberin, es scheint den Anschein zu haben, wie wenn man bei guten Bekannten einen Besuch abstattet. Leider hat die Klimaanlage nicht funktioniert... Sicherlich ungünstig wenn es heiss ist.

• Joachim (7/5): Liebevoll gestaltetes Hotel, aber nichts für geräuschempfindliche Gäste - Sehr liebevoll gestaltetes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal in guter Lage. Die Dachterrasse auf der auch gefrühstückt wurde ist toll Unser Zimmer lag im Obergeschoss hatte ein Fenster zur öffentlichen Dachterrasse und ein weiteres Fenster in einen kleinen Innenhof. Da auch andere Gästezimmer Fenster zum Innenhof hatte und mit offenem Fenster schliefen hörte man sehr viel Geräusche und lautes Schnarchen. Daher mussten wir mit geschlossenem Fenster schlafen was trotz Klimaanlage sehr stickig war

The only window of our room was onto the entrance hallway and the light of the room was not very cosy. I didn't know it would be like this when I booked the room.

The location was good The property felt authentic The rooms are dark around a central courtyard but that is andalucian style The breakfast space was small. • Eduard (10/5): Schöne liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung in der Altstadt von Jerez - Die Wohnung ist ein kleines Prachtstück, sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, die Terasse vor der Wohnung ein kleiner wunderschöner Garten, mit Liebe zum Detail - eine Oase zum Wohlfühlen. Die Wohnung ist zentral gelegen, man kann alles fußläufig erreichen. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr lieb und nett - bietet Hilfe an, z. B. beim Parkplatz (wir waren über Ostern da und es waren wegen der Prozessionen einige Strassen gesperrt), gibt Tipps was man besuchen kann und ist wirklich bemüht einen schönen und erholsamen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Danke nochmal für Alles. Wir kommen gerne wieder zu Ihnen wenn wir uns nach Sonne und Gemütlichkeit sehnen. War alles bestens

• Ines (9/5): Eine sehr gute Wahl - Eine sehr gute Wahl! Das süße kleine Hotel ist der nahe an der Kathedrale gelegen. Man kann alles fußläufig gut erreichen. Das Frühstück auf der Terrasse ist ziemlich gut. Alles ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zum Party gelegen, was aber trotzdem gut belüftet wird. Danke, dass wir die private Garage nutzen durften (je €15) denn ansonsten ist das Parken eher schwierig. In der unmittelbaren Umgebung werden die historischen Gebäude saniert. Das ist aber nicht störend und ist ja auch gut wenn alles historische erhalten bleibt. Also eigentlich alles gut.

Virginia and her staff were excellent and very helpful with tips, places to go, arranged Flamenco bar for us. Very good. If we returned - we really enjoyed Jerez - we'd ask for a room away from the street. It was a bot noisy Saturday night and then for some reason the road cleaner came through v early Sunday morning!
• Sarah (10/5): Delighful hotel with exceptional staff - We loved this delightful little hotel in Jerez. It is in a very convenient location close to all the main sights and with a fantastic array of cafes and bars nearby. Everywhere is walkable. You do not need a car to get around Jerez. Park it and leave it. Lucia will explain parking options. The hotel itself is charming, quaint and prettily decorated. There is an honesty cafe tucked in by the reception, and a truly delightful roof terrace lit up with fairylights at night with views over the rooftops to the Cathedral. There is also a coffee bar on the roof and breakfast can be served there. The owner Virginia and her receptionist Lucia take their hospitality very seriously and are incredibly helpful. They offered us loads of local information; maps with walking routes, a great selection of tapas bars and one of the best local flamenco venues in Jerez. Their communication re booking, accessing the hotel and parking were very helpful too. It exceeded our expectations and the welcome was so genuine we all fell in love with Jerez and the lovely team at La Gitanilla. It did not affect our stay but there is some renovation work going on in the area.

La chambre est assez petite mais confortable et la literie impeccable. Très bon accueil et de bons conseils sont fournis pour le choix de restaurants, de bars à tapas, ... Le petit déjeuner est servi en terrasse ou s'il pleut dans les patios intérieurs. Pas de télévision mais cela préserve le calme dans l'hôtel
• Angela (8/5): It was a great location to reach the centre for shopping and restaurants, historic sites and the many sherry tasting Bog - It was a surprise once inside. Room had all that I needed. On arrival I was a little concerned about all the building works in the surrounding area. It didn’t feel like a place for a holiday break. I was there just one night (Sunday night) and wasn’t disturbed by workman noise. I think it could be noisy if people chose to sit chatting and drinking in the downstairs inner court yard at night, as all rooms surround this courtyard. Breakfast a little awkward due to limited space.

We had the top floor apartment and it was nice to have a little terraced area just outside our room. Great water pressure in the shower Two single beds pushed together instead of a double was slightly disappointing. Bathroom was pretty small. If you get the top floor room, bear in mind the terraced area right outside the door is communal for all guests.

Un soggiorno da sogno, lo consiglio vivamente!ale era gentilissimo L'unica pecca, ma è assolutamente una mia personale opinione è che il bagno della mia stanza era un po' piccolo e c erano poche superfici di appoggio per il necessaire.

• yolanda (10/5): - De accommodatie was sfeervol en goed ingericht. De gastvrouw was zeer vriendelijk, spreekt goed Engels en is erg behulpzaam. De locatie is top, rustig gelegen en binnen een paar minuten loop je het drukkere centrum in.

Está bien ubicado, en la zona histórica. Se puede ir a pie a ver las principales atracciones de Jerez de la Frontera.

• Amparo (10/5): Feeling right at home in a new beautiful city - We really loved the fact that we felt right at home. Virginia treated us just like family. The house was very cozy and they were able to help us with anything that we needed. The breakfast also had many options and anything else that we wanted we just had to ask! The rooms were very cosy and well-equipped. The house has a beautiful living room in which we liked to enjoy our coffee after breakfast and made us feel right at home.

Las instalaciones, todo cuidado al detalle, decorado con mucho gusto, terraza con vistas, bar honesto, etc. La localización inmejorable a dos pasos del centro de Jerez. El aislamiento acústico en las habitaciones, porque se escuchaba todo.
