• Paola (10/5): - É stato tutto davvero bellissimo. Arrivate da una tappa del pellegrinaggio sulla via del Chianti fatta completamente sotto la pioggia e con il freddo, siamo state accolte in un ambiente caldo e pulito. E la disponibilità di Elisa ci ha fatto sentire davvero coccolate. Super!

Intenté comunicarme con el alojamiento antes de mi llegada para hacer una consulta a través de booking y por WhatsApp, nunca me respondieron . 45 minutos antes de la hora del check in me enviaron las instrucciones para ingresar. Ni siquiera pidieron disculpas . El baño es extremadamente incómodo .

• Nina (9/5): - The location is convenient to explore the city, within walking distance. Room was spacious, also with an extra bed, everything was very comfortable. The only challenge was the parking, as there is no designated or reserved spot, however, there is plenty of spaces next to the graveyard. Shared kitchen was a definite plus, if we were staying for more nights, I also appreciated self check-in with the code on the door.
• Sharon (10/5): I enjoy the tranquility here and simplicity of the check in / check out process. Great place. - This was my second time staying here and I chose the same room. It's quiet, in walkable distance to the "centro", the Coop for groceries should you need any, and restaurants nearby. The view from the room's window is towards the town with plenty of olive trees and the wonderful sounds of birds early mornings (see photo). It has a full kitchen so if you want to cook your own meals you have the option. My only wish is that the room have full mirror and a shelf in the shower for toiletries. Everything else was great.

• Eleonora (5/5): - La camera molto accogliente con tutto il necessario (frigobar, wifi, asciugacapelli, appendiabiti, televisore con netflix) La camera è sulla strada e purtroppo non è specificato e nelle foto non si nota questo particolare però il traffico non è eccessivo e gli infissi sono buoni quindi non si sente il rumore delle macchine. La camera che abbiamo preso noi era piena di muffa, manca un appendi asciugamani in bagno e purtroppo abbiamo trovato il bagno non pulito. Un’altra cosa che non mi è piaciuta è il fatto che la camera si chiuda con una chiave Passepartout e questo non mi ha fatto sentire sicura nel momento che siamo usciate a cena Tutte cose risolvibili

• Jacopo (8/5): Bello se in macchina e se si vuole stare fuori dai centri urbani principali - Bella struttura nella campagna toscana, comoda e curata, minima interazione con personale, tastierino per l'accesso e facilità di parcheggio in zona. La doccia nella camera era un po' pericolosa, un gradino in cotto da scendere, ho rischiato di cadere entrambe le volte, forse una striscia in gomma potrebbe un po' migliorare la situazione. Il bagno (ed in generale tutta la struttura) è ristrutturato e moderno e molto carino, tutto fatto con buon gusto

• Martina (8/5): Camera accogliente e pulita, ottima posizione - Camera accogliente e pulita, dotata di aria condizionata, Wi-Fi e smart tv. Proprietaria gentile e disponibile. La struttura è dotata anche di un'area comune e una cucina. La struttura si trova in un'area tranquilla, poco rumorosa e vicino al centro di San Donato. Il bagno era un po' piccolo e non c'era posto per appendere gli asciugamani. Il letto non comodissimo e i cuscini molto duri. Alcune prese elettriche non erano fissate correttamente alla parete e rischiavano di essere danneggiate attaccando e staccando le spine.

• Leo (10/5): Perfect spot for a Chianti getaway - Convenient location to explore Chianti pretty much in the center of Florence, Arezzo and Siena. The wonderful hostess knows the best wineries nearby and is very easy to communicate with. Fair warning, the single room is tight and there are a few awkward steps throughout the building. Not really a minus, just difficult when you’ve been exploring Chianti properly

• Rebecca (8/5): A lovely, quiet sit to relax and recoup for journeys through the Chianti. - We made a late booking at La Bugia Del Sensale after a long, hot day driving through the region on our motorbike. Elisa was lovely and looked after us, sending all the information through straight away. We were able to park out the front and check ourselves in easily. The room was comfortable and clean. It’s a good base to explore the Chianti region from. San Donato is a tiny town in itself, but there are a couple of nearby food and drink options. We found a pizzeria 5 mins away that is staffed by volunteers and raises funds for the local soccor team. Simple but tasty. Take care using the shower - it’s a large step up and easy to flood the floor if the door opens while in use. Great pressure though!!
• Stef_hu (8/5): Big room with great value for Tuscany - We stayed in the triple room. -Room was very big -Newly renovated and clean -comfortable bed -Big shared space on the first floor and shared dining table on the top floor with a well-equipped kitchen -great price/value for the area -the house is located beside a road, but the window of our room faced the back of the building, therefore it was quiet -Supermarket very close by, lots of nice places to visit in the area (by car) -The bathroom itself is a bit small, shower is good size but the toilet and bidet are small and tightly fit -curtains were missing, seemed like the bar was broken but not replaced -parking situation was a bit unclear. The host told us we could park beside the church. However, there were signs saying it's private property and an old women approached us saying we can't park there. The hoat insured us, it's OK. The situation felt a bit unclear though.

They are in a very beautiful location and everything has been thought of, there is a kitchen and a lounge area both indoors and outdoors. Parking is available nearby. There is a town nearby with accessible restaurants. A very beautiful interior! Everything was perfect!

The room was nice and clean with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was nice but the very slippery shower at the top of two steps felt a bit scary. I can image that this wil be a challenge for some people to shower here.

Also she loved the pillows (and she usually travels a lot and with her own pillow) The room is decorated so nice with so many little details, and the room is also very spacious. The communication with elisa worked super, very flexible for check in and always answered all our requests immediately. The shower was great with nice water pressure, parking easy and close, and there was an amazing restaurant just a few minutes away of the apartment on the top. If i will be back to this region i would definitely be happy to stay at la bugia del sensale again!!
• Merle (9/5): Superb - The place is so beautifully decorated, clean, and the apartment really well located. It was truly such a pleasure even when the days were rainy. The room we stayed at had the window right to the street with the traffic light, meaning unless the curtains were pulled there's not much privacy from the road and the light flashes to your room 24/7.

I couldn't meet the hots but she tried to help as much as she could, they have a warm floor that was so nice to walk on even at night time and a nice size TV for the room with Netflix on it that for us was a plus as we were walking all day long and it was nice to have something to watch, specially for my partner that doesn't speak Italian Nothing much to be honest, we have been there just to sleep so we didn't have much time to look around

The appartement was superbeautiful with many small details and the most confortable beds. I hope we can return once in the future and stay longer.

The house is excellent, true Tuscany style, well-decorated with a lot of attention to the smallest details. There is a spacious living room on the ground floor with a small terrace, the rooms on the first floor overlook olive groves and the views are just breathtaking. Highly recommended! Everything was excellent!
