We did not use, but space looked clean and new outdoor seating was a plus. Cleanliness on arrival: see pictures.
Floors: dirty, fake nail found , dirt and fluff on floor, corners and under couch. Very disappointing.
It is an expectation for all guests to clean up behind themselves before vacating, it was my expectation that a cleaner would go between. It does not appear this has been done.
Dust and fluff on walls and all fans.
Bathrooms new and modern, but flooring visually un clean.
Our feet without our shoes became visibly dirty, Generally very disappointing. Looked spot cleaned only.
Cockroaches found in window cills, dusty and had been there for a period of time.
Other residents threw garbage open untied into large bins provided in basement, adding to potential cockroach problem.
Glass bottles thrown down garbage chute 2am Christmas morning, very loud and against property policy. As we were one of the bottom level units we were most affected.
Other residents using pool, 3am Boxing Day morning and drinking out of glass bottles against pool policy, completely disregarded other residents.
we completely understand this is not a fault of the unit management but something to monitor
And follow up on.
I have reviewed honestly and comprehensively, we are very easy going, but I felt I had to leave these recommendations. If the residence was cleaner on guest arrival, we would stay again happily and recommend to others.
- Nadene (4/5): Not clean and broken facilities - disappointing stay - Location to beach and convenience to pool Cleanliness and broken facilities puts this stay below standard for an accommodation in this price.
Broken dishwasher and, no hot water in ensuite.
The bed config was not as described .
Also the complementary tea and coffee should include not just decaf coffee but caffeinated coffee and if you offer a pod machine offer a complimentary sample of coffee for it.
We travel and stay around Coolangatta and Burleigh a few times a year and have never had to clean everything before our holiday. The dirtyness of the apartment was the most disappointing and to sit in the price range of close to $3000 you expect a level of cleanliness and working facilities....this did not deliver
The only up side was the location of the beach and pool, but the bottom floor apartment had its own privacy issues with toilet and shower windows backing on the entrance.
- Adriano (5/5): Great location, but wouldnt stay there again. - Didn't realise unit had no aircon or would not have booked. As unit on the ground floor we had to keep windows open for circulation but it was noisy being on the Esplanade main road.

Very noisy unit. Construction all around. No A/C, so wi does open and very noisy.
Left a night early.
- Samuel (8/5): Well located and affordable with some minor room for improvements - Great location across the road from the beach and a short stroll into the main part of town. Well priced for its size and location. Laundry facility was available in apartment. Provided extremely limited products to facilitate cleaning and the like - two single use sachets of dishwashing liquid and dishwasher powder, only a couple of rolls of toilet paper, no paper towel or sprays for cleaning benches - for a six night stay. Makes it difficult to keep the place clean as they requested, and we had to purchase additional of these items to do so. Bedroom blinds allowed lots of light in so was difficult to sleep in beyond sunrise at 4:50am! Only a single fob for night time access provided for a 3 bedroom apartment.
