• Guest (9/5): Family friendly accommodation with stunning views. - In the days leading up to our stay our wonderful host, Karri sent us a message with clear instructions on the location of the lockbox and how to access the key. On the day of our arrival, the host had changed the code and sent us a message prior to our arrival to let us know the new code. At this point we asked if it was possible to access the property early as our trip from Sydney was much faster than anticipated given the school holidays, and as the property was ready Karri kindly allowed us earlier access. The layout of the house is fantastic, including an incredible rumpus style movie room downstairs where you will find the sofa lounge (4th Bedroom). There is a laundry adjacent with a separate shower and toilet. The back sliding doors provides easy access to walk down behind the house towards the lake for an easy "bushwalk" for little ones. Upstairs in the main area of the house the kitchen, dining and lounge room open plan all have amazing views of the bushland and lake below. The family bedroom with double bed and bunks is on the opposite side of the lounge room to the two other bedrooms which reduces disruption from early rising kids. Only very little things: The microwave is above the fridge which meant climbing on a chair to get things in and out. The main bathroom door has dual access but can only be locked on one side. The main toilet door has no handle on the outside but is lockable from the inside.

• Qianyi (9/5): overall is good - The view is excellent, the location is quiet, the facilities in the house is sufficient. mattress is too soft for me, many decorations in the bedroom. Less is more.

There is no wi fi which is quite necessary nowadays with rentals. And why did the description on booking.com say it has4 bedrooms when it only has 3?

• Nathan (8/5): A very nice house, perfect for a quiet family getaway. - Nice open living space, quiet, clean and well presented. Beds were very comfortable. Balcony over looking the lake. The path to the lake was overgrown, and inaccessible to take the canoe to the lake.

• Milo (10/5): Cosy and spacious house with homey feels - The house was really nice and spacious. There were 9 of us, and we had a really comfortable stay. We can see the lake from the balcony, and it would be really nice to have a few drinks outside (maybe in Summer). It was really windy during our visit so we mainly stayed indoors, but it was still extremely cosy and warm. The house itself is big and clean, a really lovely place overall. N/A

• Rebecca (10/5): Perfect getaway even in the rain - The location was stunning, property was beautifully styled, spacious, clean and tidy with a very gracious host that supplied the basics and so many added extras, tea, coffee, dishwasher tablets, washing powder tea towels ect ect I could keep going. Amazing communication from host. I highly recommend this property.

• Louise (8/5): Nice house, great view, bring the mozzie spray - House had great space, nice deck, plenty of games for the kids. Steep walk down to the lake, and mosquitos were viscous. The dvd player wasn’t working. No table near bbq to put things on.
• Joe (8/5): Reasonably good accommodation but the subfloor room may need more ventilation. - Liked the first floor (main floor) - clean and open. Generally good clean area. 3 bedrooms - for 6 adults and a bunk bed for kids which might be good for family also. The ground (sub-floor) room is not well ventilated, could smell damp and appears to have spiders inside. The outside (ground and balcony) there were lots of mozzies, very unpleasant.

Thanks to the amazing host Karri for our stay.She was so helpful with check in and everything we needed was supplied in the house.The balcony was just amazing. From our early morning coffee with the birds chirping to the beautiful sunset in the evenings with a glass a wine 😍.
