Guest Reviews
- Anna (4/5): Well-located and spacious, but noisy, cold, and overpriced for the quality. - Location: The apartment is situated in the heart of the tourist center, just a minute’s walk from piazza Navona. It’s convenient for sightseeing and exploring the city.
Layout: Spacious apartment with four sleeping places. It includes two bedrooms, a living room, a mezzanine with a bed, two bathrooms, and a kitchen.
Kitchen equipment: Most essential kitchen utensils are available.
Plumbing: Generally new, except for the shower cabins.
Towels: Provided in sufficient quantity and clean. Noise: The main issue is the very loud bar across the street. Music plays from 10 PM until 4–5 AM, including outdoors. Even with earplugs and closed windows, it’s nearly impossible to sleep in rooms facing the street.
Lighting: The apartment is quite dim, especially in the inner rooms without windows. If you prefer bright lighting, this may be uncomfortable.
Heating: There was no heating in October, and nights were cold.
Kitchen details: No teapot, coffee maker for family, or good knives.
Shower cabins: Old; in one bathroom, the shower head holder was broken, so it had to be held by hand. No shelves for toiletries, which is inconvenient.
Furniture: Old and worn. Drawers are hard to open, and there are no proper hangers for clothes.
Windows: The quiet bedroom faces the inner courtyard, but the window cannot be opened due to the building’s external air conditioning unit.
Host communication: After receiving full payment (including tourist tax), the hosts stopped responding to messages — including requests for directions to the apartment and notification of our departure.
- Tom (8/5): Our family of 5 had a great stay at this apartment. It’s comfortable and very well located. - Great location. Easy walk to many sites (Vatican, Colosseum, Trevi, Spanish Steps). Also many good restaurants nearby. Owner was easy to correspond with and helpful. As others have be mentioned, there is a bar across the street that plays loud thumping music until 2am most nights. It did not bother my wife, I got some earplugs and was fine.

- Marina (10/5): - Un appartamento bellissimo! Torneremo sicuramente a Roma!
- sanjay (10/5): - The location is excellent
The management very kind and helpful and extremely responsive
- Helene (8/5): This was a fantastic apartment in many ways but if you stay, you will definitely need ear-plugs. - The location of the apartment adjacent to Piazza Navona was perfect. The property was well and comfortably furnished. 2 x large and good bathrooms. The bar opposite plays music extremely loudly until approx. 2.30am every night. It was nearly impossibly to sleep in the master bedroom or in the sitting room on the sofa-bed. I was sleeping on the mezzanine one room back and it was still quite loud.
- Jonathan Burmeister (9/5): Perfect location, beautiful old building/flat - Location Location Location. Old Style flat with 4 meters high walls. Loud in the evening. But that's part of the location.
- Robert (10/5): Very spacious and centrally located. - Very spacious apartment within walking distance to Vatican, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and Trastevere. We enjoyed our stay immensely.
- Anthony (10/5): Definitely staying there again next time! - The high ceilings, the beds are really comfortable and the overall look was amazing! Nothing!
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect, in every way!
- Johanna (9/5): Superb - Location and staff were great
- Nicola (8/5): Very good -
- Francisca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barry (9/5): Piazza Navona Apartment - Location, Location, Location. Big apartment for a family or group of friends. Great to be v.near cafes for breakfast, atmospheric bars and restaurants. Just off Piazza Navona. Could be a bit noisy at night
- Elisa (10/5): Exceptional - Location was amazing,
Apartment structure also was super, with a lot of space to ensure privacy for everyone One of the room lays in front of the street and in the evening gets a little noisy
- Alex (10/5): Lovely apartment near Piazza Navona - The apartment was beautiful, double height ceilings, three bedrooms and a fitted kitchen. The location was excellent for seeing the sights of Rome. Check in was super easy. Would recommend to anyone looking for a family break in Rome. Nothing
- Andrew (9/5): Wonderful stay in a beautiful, well appointed and comfortable apartment. We couldn’t have asked for - The front bedroom was loud at night because of the thumping bass from the bar below.
- Betine (10/5): Exceptional - How lucky we were to celebrate Christmas in this beautiful apartment! It felt like a small palazzo, with its authentic charm and perfect location just steps from Piazza Navona. The thoughtful Christmas decorations made it extra festive and welcoming.
The apartment was spacious, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A truly unforgettable experience—highly recommended!
- O'connor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catherine (10/5): Amazing place with great location! - What an amazing place to stay in Rome! It almost seemed unreal! It’s huge and gorgeous! My grandson and I got lost the first night, haha! The only thing we didn’t like about the property was that the dining room was quite dark. It was very pretty, but we couldn’t really play games at the table in that lighting. (There were pretty sconces on the wall and a big standup lamp, but not really conducive to doing anything like paperwork at the table). It was fine though, because cause we ended up spending more time in the kitchen, which is the smallest part of the property, but there was just the 2 of us and it had everything we needed!
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - This apartment is incredible. So much room and in an amazing location! Easy contactless entry. Very clean and nice. Host is very helpful and responsive. We had a lovely stay! Only wish it were longer.
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicole (8/5): recommended for spacious 3 bedroom centrally located - central location, clean, spacious , luxurious. lots of viewing options on the tv in multiple languages could use more lights, an extra towel or two, tea towel and plug for kitchen sink, microwave and washing machine to put it over the top. neighbourhood music plays until late in the night. recycle instructions in english
- Georgina (7/5): Great location and incredible apartment - not for light sleepers. - The apartment is in a great location and is huge inside. Very clean and very luxurious. Much more space than a hotel room. Lots of nice places for coffee and drinks in the area and very close to Piazza Navoro. I did love this apartment but its not for a light or earlyish sleeper as its on a busy street with lots of buzzy bars which are loud until 2am. I couldn't sleep in the front bedroom, but we were only 2 people we had a spare room. But maybe if you are out later, it won't be an issue?? Maybe we are just boring!!!
- Rachel (5/5): Excellent facility that unfortunately has bad neighbors. - The actual property was amazing. It was the neighboring business that ruined our stay. The restaurant across the ally pointed a speaker right at the master bedroom window and blasted techno music until 3 a.m. both nights of our stay. We went to talk to the owner before we went to bed on night two. He gave us shots of limoncello and kept blasting music all night. There was no dance floor or any type of club scene. It was just a restaurant/bar.
- Carl (9/5): Excellent - The location and the actual apartment. Large and well maintained The band/ bar right across from us played until 2am. The waiters there became our friend though! We got use to the noise
- Stacy (7/5): Good - The apartment was large and very clean. The location in regards to the city was great, just a hop away from Piazza Navona. The beds were comfortable with lots of pillows, which I find rare in Italy. Communication was great. Having 2 bathrooms was perfect for our party of 5. Plenty of seating for all! I cannot understate this, THE NOISE. I had read in other reviews that the front bedroom was loud at night but I hadn't realized nearly the whole apartment would be so loud. The street below the apartment has a lot of restaurants that seemingly turn into clubs and so the music was loud, the people were loud, the bass vibrations were FELT way past midnight. This is not the fault of the owners but be very prepared with earplugs and white noise and whatever you need! The earplugs they provided were a bit hard and thus didn't work great, but I appreciated the effort.
The 3rd bedroom is a loft space above the dining room right next to the bathroom so either put your deepest sleeper or your earliest riser up there! Also, the stairs going up to it are a bit shallow so coming down them was a bit harrowing for an adult.
There were no bowls? Everything else seemed well stocked but we ate cereal out of wine glasses! (Which was fine!)
- Frances (10/5): Grand luxurious apartment in amazing location. - Absolutely gorgeous apartment in the heart of Piazza Navona. Wonderful location for fab restaurants, nightlife, people watching while sipping a spritz.
The apartment interior is out of a magazine. Spacious, elegant, and high security locks. One of my very best rentals worldwide. Nothing.
- Patsy (9/5): The perfect Appartment for a city break in Rome. Great value for a couple of couples or friends wanting to share roomy a - Location, location location! The Appartment is large, airy, well air conditioned and well equipped. The main thing is the location though you are central to everything a 20min walk to both the colosseum and Vatican City with everything else on the door step. Small mini market downstairs for water, milk etc. Gelato, Zupli and Pizza across the street available at take away and restaurants and bars on your door step. I just think a few extra tips from the owners would help.
We arrived in a bank holiday so the taxis weren’t running in the airport. It would have been nice to know when I asked about costs from the airport.
The entrance is between a shop and a bar and not immediately obvious so a picture of the door would help.
A welcome pack with water, milk would have been useful as we arrived late after the mini market had closed.
WiFi I eventually sorted the WiFi but had to do a reset and reboot myself and then the details changed from those provided. Given the age of the building and the thickness of the walls you don’t get a phone signal so WiFi was essential - especially if meeting others.
- Christopher (9/5): Superb - The location was perfect!!! A little loud at night.
- Brett (9/5): Nice stay, central,, clean, well located and good value - Very spacious, nice apartment, centrally located and reasonably easy to access. The value was definately there, we would stay again and recommend. Relatively small things. Couldn't figure out controls of master shower so lost its use for a day before management responded. Also, step in that bathroom almost caused an injury, should be better marked, one TV didn't work in master and evening club noise significant until 2 AM impacting main bedroom.
- Jiann (9/5): Superb -
- Panagiotis (7/5): Mixed feelings - Location is great, most Rome sites accessible on foot. Apartment is large, comfortable, big bedrooms, high ceilings, large kitchen and living room. Nice decor, well equipped kitchen. The noise level from the bars downstairs is unbearable late at night, especially for whoever is sleeping in the large bedroom. Water pressure in both bathrooms is weak, and the bathroom tabs etc need a refresh. the lack of elevator is an issue, if you have lots of luggage or heavy luggage. WE also had the internet being off (owner said it was due to the network provider), and sinc ethe regular GSM coverage inside the apartment is weak, with no WiFi we were kind of cut-off.
- Asano (9/5): Superb - First, the location was great for tourists to explore sightseeing spots. When I messaged to ask about check-in and any concerns, the staff responded promptly. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you!
- Paul (9/5): Over all a very nice stay. The staff was very helpful - Great location Front room Very noisy at night.
- Nir (9/5): Superb - Excellent location in the center. Not very noisy considering the location. Lots of space. Extended check out due to late flight. Kitchen needs some more cookware and plates.
- Rohitash (10/5): A Roman stay - done right! - The apartment is situated a few steps away from Piazza Navona, right in the middle of historic landmarks, restaurants, bars & vibrant Roman life. The apartment itself is the perfect mix of old-world grandeur mixed with modern design, as it seems recently renovated. It has beautiful high ceilings, original flooring, double windows & a good mix of modern & vintage furniture. The bathrooms are modern, fully equipped & the kitchen fully functional.
The host was incredibly helpful & made sure our stay was super comfortable, which we really appreciated. A personal touch makes all the difference. If you’re a light sleeper, the room facing the Main Street can be noisy till the bars are open. Although, a pair of earplugs could solve that. The other room & loft bed (third double bed) are totally silent.
- Asimina (10/5): Exceptional - THE APARTMENT WAS ABSOLUTELY BEAYTIFUL !!!
