• Santiago (4/5): Hotel en deterioro con mala atención al cliente - El hotel está muy bien ubicado a pocas cuadras del centro histórico de la ciudad. Las habitaciones son limpias y hay agua caliente. Casa de Aguila hace más de 10 años era un hermoso hotel boutique con una excelente atención. Ahora es todo lo contrario; la cadena que lo adquirió (NASS) lo está dejando decaer sin dar un adecuado mantenimiento, invertir en su conservación y cuidar su personal. Es notaria la falta de personal, los empleados doblan turnos y eso se evidencia en el pésimo servicio al cliente. Los espacios comunes están llenos de polvo y es notorio que por años no se ha reparado el mobiliario. Booking nos dio un muy buen precio por la estadía, pero no justifica la mala calidad del servicio al cliente y el deterioro de las instalaciones. Recomiendo no ir a este hotel y seguramente al resto de hoteles de esta cadena.

It was near to historic center and other touristic places to visit. You can go walking to them. Well. I think that they can improve their breakfast. It was so basic the first day that we tasted it

Me gusto que reservaran unos cuantos espacios publicos de la csa antigua como los salones o terrazas. Daba ganas de haber tenido mas dias para haber disfrutado mas del hotel. La chica que tabaja alli fue muy simpatica con nosotros en todo momento.

It's has a beautiful interior and rooms. Staff was friendly. Unfortunately the room stank of perfume which made it very hard for me to sleep there.

• Millard (9/5): We had an excellent stay. - The breakfast was good, something different each day. Rooms were comfortable and clean. A bit more sound proofing for walls that join another room, can be a bit noisy at times.

The location was very close to the central square and walking distance to restaurants and everything else in town. They never cleaned our room or changed the garbage in the bathroom during the 4 nights we stayed there, which was a little weird.

There was only one employee (manager?) who we met and he did everything (check-in, breakfast, housekeeping). He was very nice- even got up at 5am to arrange a taxi for us to airport. The room was comfortable and quiet. Free tea and instant coffee in lobby. The bathroom could use an actual shelf and towel hooks. All my toiletries were in my bag on the floor.

• Lucy (10/5): A beautiful, comfortable patrimonial a few blocks from Parque Calderon - Location is 4.5 blocks from Parque Calderon, so very close to everything. Building is charming, characteristic patrimonial. The bed was very comfortable - a good mattress. The service was kind and quick in every respect. Breakfast was very good and made more enjoyable by the other guests we met.

Not a big issue though. Breakfast was in a courtyard with an open roof - i am sure it would be beautiful in the summer but a little chilly when we were there.

• Adrian (6/5): Pleasant - Nice historical building close to city center. The personnel is kind and helpful. We had the Superior Queen Room. Unfortunately the description does not fully respect the reality. There is no spa bath. In fact the bathroom is really tiny and has only a toilet and a sink. The shower cabin is in a corner of the room. We told this to the staff and they admitted that the bathroom pictures presented for this room are in fact from another room. WiFi works with interruptions. Breakfast is average, coffee is good.

Great location. My wife found her pillows to be a bit thick and the room was sometimes cool. The bathroom was a bit small.

Great buffet breakfast including herbal tea which I really appreciated! If I stayed again I would have a look at a different room, maybe upstairs. My room faced the internal courtyard so it lacked a bit of privacy and was a bit dark

• Ben (9/5): great value hotel, with welcoming and friendly staff in a fantastic location - it's a really welcoming hotel in a great location, and fantastic value for money. Honestly, at $35/night for two people b&b it is great. the staff were really friendly too The room we had was quite loud as it was on the road. The room itself was a little dated (Eg cracked plaster, the safe didn't work). The fruit and juice at breakfast was great, but the eggs could have been better. And there was a coffee machine, but this was extra. Having said that, at this price point, those things were not an issue at all but just the reason it is 9 rather than 10, we'd still highly recommend it as a place to stay.

The staff only spoke Spanish (but they were friendly and we managed to communicate!).

It is located just a few blocks from the center-center, so easy to explore city walking as well. Can only recommend this place in a great city!
