• Elizabeth (6/5): Lugano layover - The apartment was well located to the lake and shopping precinct. Check in was easy with the code provided. The lift was helpful with luggage. The facilities were not a stated,. It was missing a microwave which was a requirement for us and we chose this property due to its stated facilities. When I attempted to enquire about its absence, I received no communication from the local management team till the night before checkout regarding the issue. The pillows were wafer thin as mentioned in previous reviews. The dining table is too large for the space, making it difficult to use the kitchen.

• Marillion65 (10/5): Tolles Wochenende mit der Familie im Tessin - Tolles Apartement mit allem, was man benötigt. Sehr stylisch eingerichtet, hat uns sehr gefallen. Aufzug vorhanden. Hervorragende Lage mitten im Zentrum, ein paar Gehminuten zum See und zu den Läden und Restaurants. Trotzdem sehr ruhig. Parkplatz öffentlich in nahegelegener Tiefgarage ist logisch für diese zentrale Lage in der Fussgängerzone, deshalb kein Nachteil. Nichts
• Mikhail (7/5): - Excellent location, very clean. 1. Ridiculously complicated check-in. The property redirects you to its own website and makes you complete a long check-in procedure. Getting on a flight is easier. Worst of all, they delay sending the apartment access code until check-in day, which means you have to keep chasing them. I ended up sending around 10 messages via email, Booking.com, and WhatsApp just to get the code. I booked through Booking.com, so key details should have been communicated there clearly and on time. 2. Kitchen was only half equipped. There were no tea or coffee cups in the apartment, so we had to drink coffee from plastic IKEA children’s cups.

• Tatyana Bezukladnikova (7/5): The service needs to be improved and the team should be more helpful, which is a pity because the ap - The apartment is very well located and in good condition. There are several issues we would like to point out: In the description it is stated that a baby bed is available, however, we were charged extra per day for it. The apartment is described as having parking, but in reality it is a private parking next door, costing up to 30 Swiss francs per day. Heating is through air conditioning. The system was switched off at the main panel, and even after turning it on, we were never able to make it work properly for heating. The pillows were very worn out. The kitchen had very few plates. There was no bath mat in the bathroom. The baby bed was not provided at all, and our child had to sleep on the sofa. Communication with the staff was very difficult, and the responses were poor and unhelpful.

Good communication with the rental agency Not enough glasses, cups, kitchenware etc. One dishwasher tablet for 3 nights and 4 people. Very small bottle of shampoo and soap for the shower. Only 2 small and very thin pillows per bed. Not enough lounge seating for 4 people. Overall it's very annoying as many reviews say the same thing but there is no change by the rental agency. Is it simply a money saving thing? For CHF 300+ per night you expect better. We even bought extra items with us as we figured it would be the case. And it was.

• Teresa (9/5): Nice location and flat could be better - Spacious well decorated apartment in a great location. Close to the tram to the bus station and a short walk to the lake front. Check in time could have been earlier. 4pm is quite late on the afternoon. Was able to drop bags and access the apartment a bit earlier. Communication on accessing property could have been better. You can take the tram down from the station versus carrying the bags all the way down the stairs. Also the apartment was barely stocked. Other properties across Switzerland are stocked much better for guests at this price point.

• Nils (8/5): Great location - The location was great and check in was very easy. The flat in general was comfortable. The standard of the interior and furniture was high. Except for some noisy neighbors, the flat was very quiet. Communication with the local team could be improved. The flat was not properly cleaned when we arrived - there was a lot of dirt under the couch and cookie crumbles under the carpet. We flagged this with the local team and they got it cleaned the next day. There are also simple things missing from the apartment like enough dish washer tabs or salt/pepper/oil.

Comfortable beds. The air conditioning was problematic. Difficult to use and one was malfunctioning. There weren’t enough drinking glasses (only two).

• Diane (9/5): A very enjoyable stay in Lugano. - The apartment is a nice design, exceptionally well located in a secure building and within easy walking distance to the lake and all the amenities. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable, with all the facilities we needed as a family of three. It would have been nice to have some initial toiletries in the bathroom to get us started. Also to have instructions for the washing machine in English. Happy Rentals sent the door code to me by email, which caught me out, as I expected it to be sent via booking.com or Whatsapp. They responded quickly however to our queries and were overall very helpful.

Nicely decorated, lots of storage space and kitchen utensils and cleaning items were provided. Cleanliness was amazing. Very safe too. Quiet not loud despite being in centre. Drain smelt after use, despite there being a washing machine there was no laundry tabs and we had to go get our own as well as handwash. If possible harder pillows like memory foam because the soft ones can be uncomfortable.

The communication was great, the location perfect, the surrounding quiet and everything felt new and clean. They even were able to provide a highchair which was much appreciated.

Spacious and comfortable (very nice furnishings - all seemed to be brand-new) - very suitable for two couples. Kitchen and bathroom clean with all the mod-cons. Obvioulsy recently redecorated, to a high standard ... and well maintained. Excellent security. Location couldn't be better - right in the middle of Lugano amongst premier shopping brands, lovely resturants and bars .. and a few minutes from the lake. Walkable distance from the train station, but if one has big cases use the funicula which stops very close to the accomodation. Nothing really. Spot on, if you want quality self-catering accomodation at a good price in an otherwise very expensive town. One small improvement would be more washing up liquid, dishwasher cubes and bathroom toileteries.
• Giselle (7/5): Good - Location, modern, clean. Poor communication on pin number. Had to ask for it to get into the apartment. It should have been communicated earlier and clearer. Had to ask for wifi code. Assuming I have text or phone capabilities to receive this information. Inflexible check in and check out times even though we were asking for only one hour. Few or no supplies for cleaning, dish tabs, dish soap, toiletries, laundry soap. Given the price we paid it is not too much to ask for the above.
