Guest Reviews
- olugbodi (4/5): I did enjoy the location, however, the poor internet and suboptimal bedding were major disappointment, with the poor int - The location was suitable - close access to bus and train stations The internet was horrible- I complained and was unable to get an improvement
No provision for drinking water
- Elena (10/5): -
- Hiroyuki (9/5): Excellent!! - The location is very convenient—close to both Deptford Bridge and Greenwich stations—and you can reach Heathrow Airport with just one transfer.
There is also a nearby bus stop, and if you take bus 453 (the first stop), you can go directly to central London, including Piccadilly Circus, in about 45 minutes for only £1.75 without changing buses.
Deptford Market, which has a lively atmosphere, is about a 10-minute walk away. Tesco and Co-op are within a 5-minute walk, and there is also a fish and chips shop nearby.
I was able to use the bathroom and toilet almost privately. A washing machine and dryer were available, and there was also a toaster, kettle, and microwave that guests could use.
The host was cheerful and kind, and the family had a very welcoming atmosphere.
I had to extend my stay due to various circumstances, but I’m glad I was able to extend it. I had some difficulty finding the entrance when checking in, so it’s important to arrange the check-in time and instructions clearly in advance.
Two of the light bulbs was out and it wasn’t fixed during my stay.
The shower pressure was a bit weak.
- Ammar (1/5): We had to cut the stay short due to the place not being how it was described. - Location was nice The bed was unstable, slats kept breaking when you sat on the bed.
Spiders and spider webs in the bedroom and bathroom.
The mattress was smaller than the bed frame.

- Dmytro (7/5): Good value for money, good connectivity/it’s not a hotel but an AirBnB/B&B mix - You should know that the property is someone’s home, where people live permanently, and they rent out a few rooms in this property to travelers. As such, think about it as a combo of an AirBnB and a good old B&B. If you like such arrangement, it is a great option, because the owners are very kind, generous, and non-intrusive. If you prefer more independence, privacy, and flexibility (like in a regular hotel), this is probably not a place for you. So just bear this in mind.
Other than that, it is an excellent, clean, fairly equipped place (I stayed in a room with private bathroom essentially occupying the whole 3rd floor under the roof), with very courteous and polite hosts managing the place; great front yard in front of the house; very good transportation from here, albeit takes some time; local Tesco Express nearby (4 mins walk if you are lucky with a long traffic light on the main road). Mind there is no reception - you have to connect with the host if you have issues or anything. The bed in the room with the private bathroom needs an upgrade: it is low and unstable. Adding a kettle to that room and just a couple of cups or glasses would help with kitchen walks downstairs.
- Caroline (10/5): - Perfect location for Greenwich Park, DLR / trains, and seeing Greenwich, Blackheath & Deptford.
- Michael (7/5): - The location. Easy access to metro or the tube. Shared bathroom, noise from other residences 2am that sounded like a washing machine at least twice, did not change linen or towels, and that its a resident.
- Elena (7/5): - Buona posizione.
- Matas (10/5): -
- SHIVAM (10/5): Great, and peaceful stay - Room was of big size sufficient for even two person. Locality was great. Host’s behaviour was very nice and supporting.
- Ursula (8/5): I am very grateful to the host. They were so friendly and helpful - Quietness. Comfort. Assessibility, proximity to public transportation Cleanliness of bathroom and kitchen
- Gladys (9/5): good place to stay - it was a nice hidden gem nothing
- Olena (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect! The hosts were incredibly hospitable. Highly recommend this property!
- Husnu (9/5): It was a comfortable and peaceful stay. - Facilities, owners and location were all perfect.
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kimba (10/5): Exceptional - It was close to a train and a small market. (The trains and underground take some time to get used to.) I was able to cram a lot into the short bit of time in London. I never had time to use the laundry or kitchen.
- Martina (9/5): Superb - A very easygoing clean place to stay with everything you need. Great location.
Have stayed before & would stay again.
- Oksana (10/5): Once I will back to London I will stay there again. Amazing house. - Its amazing house with all necessarily things, only 7 min to TUBE. I stayed only 1 week but I wish to come back onece again. Very cosy & comfortable place. cant say something about, all was fine and dandy))
- Dawn (6/5): In between a hostel and an AirBnB. Good enough for a short stay. There are some guests who are staying for over a month. - Close to the trains that’ll get you into the city centre. Also close to the bus stop that goes straight to London Bridge. Neighbourhood is near Deptford, which is cute in and of itself. Also, a walk away from Greenwich Park. Kitchen was well stocked and has a cute backyard. Can be really busy with guests checking jn and out. Laundry machine’s drying function was broken and thus, towels and some bed sheets were wet upon arrival. 2nd floor washroom was ok, could use a bath mat since it was constantly wet after showering since there isn’t a shower curtain. Walls are paper thin. I could hear the conversations from the room above me. Your experience likely depends on the other guests in terms of noise.
- Magdalena (10/5): Nice rooms, safe neighborhood - Very cosy room, well equipped shared kitchen, polite guests. I was the only female guest, others were male guests. Neighborhood felt safe. Bus stations (to different parts of town) within 5-10 min walk.
- Kai (10/5): I will definitely return - Excellent service, spacious room, good kitchen, good location, good transport and supermarket supports, close to park, friendly landlord, no complaints None
- Christopher (10/5): Very good - Stayed for the marathon, everything was A1 and even better than described Nothing
