- Anna (9/5): A very good new 4 star hotel with excellent customer service - The Hoxton is a very good 4 star hotel. The Staff were excellent and facilities good. It is a new hotel in a gracious old building so everything is sparkling. We booked the top category of room but found out that it was on 2 levels with a spiral staircase. It was not suitable but the staff were very accommodating and changed our room.

We were a little removed from the crowds and noise but still able to walk everywhere - 21,000 steps daily! Our room was clean and very comfortable. The staff at the hotel were very pleasant. We loved the wine bar and enjoyed before and after dinner drinks there. N/A

- Jamie (10/5): 10/10 amazing stay - Everything was amazing! Room was comfortable. Design was great. Location a bit far from main sights but still so doable! Staff was friendly. FOOD WAS FANTASTIC! Will definitely stay again! The breakfast buffet didn’t seem worth the money but the service was still excellent. Wish there was more selection. That being said, the espresso bar was excellent for breakfast!

- Virginie (8/5): Prachtig hotel aan de rand van het centrum! - Ontzettend mooi hotel. Goed faciliteiten. Personeel was heel leuk! Mooie kamers. Mogelijkheden qua restaurants is wat onduidelijk, duurde een dag voor ik het snapte. De a la carte optie voor ontbijt is niet aan te raden gezien je dan in een veredelde koffiebar zit met lage tafels en zelf je eten moet bestellen aan de bar; het buffet in het andere restaurant daarentegen is top. Jammer dat er geadverteerd wordt met rooftop maar dat deze niet toegankelijk is. Locatie wel wat aan de rand van het centrum.

I even took a picture of the bug There were no small travel amenities such as slippers , shower cap , I called and told them for the amount I am spending there should be stuff for travelers. They stated it’s not in their policy. I don’t understand we are travelers and they decide the policy. Paid way too much for such an attitude towards things.

Except for the notes above, we we would rate our stay as almos - Location, staff, restaurants and bars were excellent Size of our room was a bit small so we’d choose a larger room next time. The bathroom was small but workable but the light over the sink was too dim and should be much brighter. We didn’t like the pervasive sewer odor throughout our stay. We don’t know if that is a city wide issue or the hotel’s or is just limited to the first floor.

- Eli Rouillon (10/5): Elegante y moderno hotel a 15' de Santa María del Fiore en zona tranquila - el diseño moderno y elegante, la atención en recepción, llegamos temprano, 5 horas antes del check-in, pero nos avisaron por whatsapp que la habitación ya estaba lista mientras paseábamos por la ciudad y nos guardaron las maletas mientras tanto. La habitación muy bien decorada, sobria y espaciosa, el baño de mármol elegante y con una ducha fabulosa!. La terraza interior con mesas para desayunar o almorzar muy linda, con plantas y mobiliario de muy buen gusto. todo nos gustó.

The food in the restaurant is always a hit and not very expensive. It is hard to get a taxi although grateful that the hotel can help you with it. It is also a walk from the city center.

- ana (4/5): - The rooms I booked were the most uncomfortable rooms with a ned on a second floor and the bathroom on the first floor. The stairs to get down are quite dangerous. I talked to the front desk and told them to make our room. I got to the room at night and the room was not made. I called front desk and said that they had a problem with the system.

The outside courtyard was so lovely, perfect for an evening cocktail. Location good, you can walk into the centre of Florence within 15 mins.

- Louanne (9/5): Beautiful hotel with friendly staff - The facilities were fantastic - very comfortable and clean room with stylish finishes. Staff were very friendly and helpful with providing recommendations and tips for where to go in Florence. Breakfast included was lovely - seemed a little bit understaffed some mornings as it took longer than expected for coffee and eggs to arrive but overall still a nice array of foods and pleasant staff.

The lift didn’t work on our way out so we had to carry our suitcases down a couple of flights of stairs. They really could use a pool in the garden . The outdoor bar was pleasant enough but the drinks are expensive, London prices really. We also got lots of mosquito bites in our room which was very unpleasant as I succeeded in avoiding mosquitoes in the countryside for a week prior. I love Florence but would probably go somewhere else next time as this is not worth £300/night

- Alyson (10/5): - We loved our stay at the Hoxton. The rooms were comfortable and the outdoor bar was our favorite place to sit in the evening. The 'smash burger' in the speakeasy was delicious too. The only downside was it was a bit of a walk to the 'main attractions' of Florence but the hotel itself made up for that.

- Matthew (10/5): Simply wonderful. - Everything!! The beds were exceptionally comfy. The room was exceptionally clean and smelt fantastic upon arrival! The entire hotel was possibly the most aesthetically beautiful hotel we’ve ever stayed in - every item visible or surface appeared to have been carefully considered and selected and then finally positioned to amount to a wonderful environment. Our only regret is that we can’t move in as permanent residents! We will miss the hotel staff - everything they did was with speed, care and with a smile. We can’t wait for our next stay! We can’t think of a single thing; honestly!
- Irisa (8/5): Clean and modern - It was modern and clean. Bed was comfy, showers were great. Quite Spacious as well. Quite busy when we arrived, had to wait 10 minutes just to check In and it was past the check in time. The room we stayed in was near a school perhaps as we heard a lot of children screaming in the morning

- Daljit (10/5): - Best hotel in Florence. Staff are great, the food in the restaurant was tasty, probably one of the most well designed hotel's I've been too. It's located on a quiet street about 10-15min walk to the centre which suited us because Florence gets busy in tourist season.
- Hyunjung (6/5): Ok for short stay - Great location, amazing ascetic and lovely staff made the stay really special. The area felt safe and quiet. Walkable to the main landmarks. The room was full of cute furniture and the bed was extremely comfortable. Terrible smell from the shower drain filled the room - unpleasant to step into the room after a long day of exploring the town. If the room is near the bar on the ground floor, it can be quite noisy which was our room was.
- Tasha (10/5): - This is one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in. Love the design and many options for you to relax around the property. Took me 13 minutes to walk to the main attractions. Beautifully designed hotel, nice size rooms.
