Guest Reviews

- Giedre (10/5): Highly recommended - Excellent location and great communication with the host. She was very supportive and helped us in the last minute. Everything you need is in the accommodation, even washing machine with dryer. Also the host offered for a small fee to leave our luggage at her office after we’ve checked out.
- Jordi (7/5): - Great spot in Rome, all on walking distance. Would not come here again, but it's a good spot. Not more then 4 people I would say. Appartement is smaller than looks in the pictures. Way smaller. And the beds were not comfortable at all. Also the city tax payement needed to be in cash the first day on arrival, and that would have been nice to have more clearly explained well in front.

- Ante (5/5): - The apartment is located in the absolute best area – right in the heart of Rome, with all the main attractions within a 10-minute walk. The host was very kind, approachable, and helpful throughout our stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth and simple. However, the apartment itself could benefit from better maintenance. The air conditioning units seemed as if they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, and when turned on, the smell was unpleasant, which made us hesitant to use them. The general smell in the apartment was also not very fresh. The staircase leading to the upper level did not feel very secure, as it appeared to have a makeshift support, which didn’t inspire confidence. In addition, the apartment is located on the ground floor of the building’s entrance hall, so the sound insulation was not ideal, and noise from the outside was noticeable.
Overall, while the location and the host were excellent, the comfort of the stay would be greatly improved with some renovations and proper upkeep of the facilities.
- Christopher (10/5): Great location / good value / OK facilities - Location / air con Lack of bedroom privacy
- Christine (7/5): We enjoyed our stay. Such a good location. Our host was wonderful and very responsive. - The location was excellent. Not far from the Pantheon, but far enough that there was no noise. It's difficult to get luggage up the spiral staircase to the bedrooms. Takes 2 people at least.
- Kerrie (9/5): Just near the Pantheon & lots of eating places. - Fantastic location. Would definitely stay there again. Only negative is our large suitcase was too heavy to take up the circular stairs. I didn’t matter to us at all.
- Bastow (4/5): Great Location, but that's about it - Can't beat the location. Only a couple blocks south of the pantheon. The facilities were a lot smaller than anticipated from the photos. The stairs were a little difficult to use and rickety; felt unsafe. The toilet seats were all loose and the shower drain was slow in draining. The place needs more care and maintenance.
- FABIO (10/5): - la posizione in centro, appartamento super comodo e super pulito. Monica e Micaela super gentili e pronte a risolvere qualsiasi necessità.
Ci torneremo!!!!
- John (8/5): - Loved location, two bedrooms and two bathrooms were excellent. Brilliantly central, loved the fact we were minutes from many fabulous sights. Friendly area with bars and restaurants. Kitchen was basic but had enough. This didn't really matter as were out most of the time enjoying restaurants.

- Sarah-Jane (8/5): - Fantastic Location Kettle was broken and very dangerous - but we were told it would be changed for the next visitors!
- Theresa (9/5): - Great location
Indretning lidt slidt.
- Kyriacoulla (5/5): Disappointed - Location, bedrooms good size Need repairs, old kitchen ,dirty sofa cushions, very dangerous stairs, extremely small shower for an adult to fit,. Extremely noisy from 6 am due to workers from warehouse/storage next door.
Stairs step was held by a piece of wood that moved when you stepped on it. Over priced for what you get.
- Alexandru (8/5): - Clean.
It was ok, but not the best for a family. It's way better for a group of friends that want to have a good and fun time in rome. The mattress from the open room was bad
This has nothing to do with our host but was still annoying. One of the staff from the building that we stayed, every morning around 6:30, slamed a big metal door that was placed right under our window and woke us up every time. Again, this has nothing to do with our host.
- Rodney (5/5): Great Location, less tan everage apartment. - Location is fantastic. Secure building Floors creak everytime anyone walks, especially tiny circular stairs which felt like they were very unstable. Shower floor of main bathroom was mouldy and tiles were falling off. Beds were the worst i have slept in.
- Nicole (10/5): Perfect location in the heart of Rome! - The location is excellent, walkable or quick transport to all major attractions. The space has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Very simple, but sometimes simple truly is best. Not a bunch of privacy given the open layout. This was fine as we are a family.
- mark (8/5): superb host, superb location, good value for money, clean and comfortable - The host was exceptional. Made contact weeks prior to arrival and arranged taxis and answered all questions we had. also sorted out things we needed during the stay. Excellent communication and check instructions were very easy and clear
The apartment couldnt be any better placed for sightseeing.
I stayed with my 3 daughters so we made use of all the rooms. It is a typical central Rome apartment. with everything you need as a base in a small apartment. its clean and functional with the bonus of aircon. I think it is well priced for what it offers but the location is just superb. 25 mins from the vatican, 20 from the colosseum, 10 from the trevi, 2 mins from the pantheon, 10 from piazza novona etc. Plenty of restaurants nearby and shops (restaurant osteria on the corner is superb) would be good to have some more bedding and pillows avaliable in the apartment, but apart from that i cant fault it.
spiral stairs would be tricky for elderly etc, but otherwise its just what you need as a base
- Normand (10/5): -
- Aneta (10/5): -
- Jeffrey (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful location that made for easy outings with kids. Air Conditioning worked so well, in 37c Rome we loved going back to the room to recharge in the cool air- and in the mornings we actually woke up cold
- Corin (8/5): Very good -
- Christina (9/5): Excellent location. Difficult stairs. - The location was excellent! We could walk to the sites and great restaurants a few steps way. The beds were not comfortable. Be aware that the staircase is very narrow and steep. If you have hip or knee problems, I do not recommend staying there.
- Thien (9/5): Superb -
- Astrid (9/5): Superb -
- Desmond (10/5): Amazing, characterful property right in the heart of Rome. - We LOVED the location and the quirky, cozy, homely feel of the property. The photos were obviously taken immediately after the property had been renovated and things are in need of a light refresh, but that did not spoil our enjoyment of a wonderful day in Rome
- Claire (8/5): Very good - Location is super, minutes from the Pantheon, 12 min to Trevi fountain, 15 min to Castle, 30 min to Vatican, 15 min to Colloseum. Supermarket, coffee bars and loads of food places within minutes. The photos on Booking.com are out of date so would be good to be updated as different table/chairs, sofa, curtains - table/chairs in our opinion are nicer, sideboard isn’t there but replaced with a good size fridge freezer and a collapsible breakfast bar, sofa is a grey 3 seater sofa bed with a sofa bed foot stool, not the most comfy sofa but you aren’t there to sit and watch TV (again, our opinion)
For the centre of the historic city this is good size accommodation, 2 bedrooms (1 has a door, the other a curtain) and 2 bathroom (1 en suite to the bedroom with a curtain and the other is off the landing). A sitting area with table/chairs and room for cases etc. Like any big city and even though in an inner courtyard, it is peaceful between midnight and 5am but outside of these hours you have people sweeping , emptying bins, getting on bike for work, talking on mobile etc and basically getting on with city life (sound travels well in court yard and you have 1 courtyard where you enter and another on the outside of the en-suite bathroom window so you won’t get a late sleep in but why be in Rome to sleep when so much to see!
Plenty of hot water, kitchen is small ( in photos everything is smaller in real life but all photos for anywhere do this), but has what you need
The hosts are very responsive and great communication! Nothing we didn’t like but to improve I would say the courtyard could be more welcoming as first part you see and for our visit there was around 30 empty wine bottles sat on side and bags of rubbish, probably can’t be helped as somebody else’s. An extra towel each so we had 2 bath towels each for the 5 night stay but if I had asked the host they would have provided I’m sure but nice if there for you. We hung the towels over the inside balcony throughout the day and they dried well. As others have said it is dark in the lounge area as you are in ground floor level in an inner courtyard but we weren’t in during day so made no difference to us, you do have windows though for air, over top of entrance door, off the bedroom with door (blue design ceiling) and off the en- suite bathroom.
It’s a quirky style of an apartment with fairly small spiral staircase but fun to stay in for a short time and good value for money in a super location.
- Jed (10/5): The perfect City break appartment - Located in a perfect area for visiting the city. Convenient for every major attraction, dozens of restaurants and cafes
Eg 100 metres from The Pantheon
A very comfortable stay with quick wifi
- Georgia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrea (8/5): Roma downtown for real - Position, staff super nice and supportive It is quite small for 7 people but ok for the price during a very high season period
- Norman (9/5): Happy with the unit and would recommend. - Excellent location and a nicely laid out unit. Had a washing machine No dryer
- Duncan (8/5): Cute and cozy little place that works great for visiting Rome and seeing all of the sites. - Awesome location. Worked great for our family of four. Place was clean, staff was helpful, and it was nicely stocked. Stairs were tricky, and floors creaky (expected with age of place) but meant that once one person is awake the entire house is awake. Due to location in the building, the natural light was limited.
- Kaiser (8/5): Very good -
- Guy (9/5): Excellent - Amazing location. Simple and clean accommodation. Great value. Would certainly recommend. Only negative feedback is that the host emailed final instructions including door code on the day of arrival after we were already travelling. I was unable to access WiFi and didn’t receive them. Fortunately a local resident was able to help with access. Once inside no complaints at all.
- John (9/5): Superb - great location, walked easily to all sites.
cool, spiral stairs!
- Wilma (10/5): Great value for money and location - Exceptional location. Walking distance from all major attractions. Close to fabulous markets, restaurants, supermarkets.
Very comfortable rooms, bathrooms, living areas.
Had a fabulous time.
- Kaj (9/5): Good value and close to everything - Close to everything. Checking in was a breeze with very clear instructions
- Cihan (1/5): That was terrible - Just the location There was a terrible smell that we got health issues after staying at there just one night because of it. We needed to cancel the reservation and book another apart for our health but they said us our health issues are not enough serious and for a refund we need to find more serious problems than that.
- Forde (3/5): Spending close to $1800 dollars for 3 nights stay, there shouldn’t be any issues! We told the owner she sent someone bac - Location was nice. It was good to be on the first floor. We had a problem with ants. The shower in the master wasn’t draining. The plumbing in the other bathroom also had issues.
- David (10/5): Very good experience - During our recent trip to Rome, we had the pleasure of staying in a marvelous loft located in the pulsating heart of the Eternal City, right next to the majestic Pantheon. The loft, perfect for accommodating seven people, turned out to be exactly as in the photographs: spacious, stylish, and immersed in a historical atmosphere that only the center of Rome can offer.
One of the most surprising aspects was the tranquility of the apartment, despite its central location. Thanks to its internal layout, we were able to enjoy peaceful and restorative sleep after long days spent exploring the city.
For us, an undeniable highlight was the ability to reach the Colosseum on foot, fully immersing ourselves in Roman life and its extraordinary beauties. The walk to the amphitheater was an unforgettable experience, allowing us to fully appreciate the magic of Rome.
Special thanks go to Monica and Michela, the two owners of the agency, whose courtesy and availability made our stay even more enjoyable. Always ready to assist with useful advice and to organize services, such as transportation to Termini Station, they demonstrated a professionalism and human warmth that are rare to find.
The impeccable cleanliness of the apartment contributed to making us feel immediately at home, in a welcoming environment that was meticulously cared for down to the smallest detail. It is undoubtedly a place where we will joyfully return, certain to find that sense of familiarity and comfort that we so greatly appreciated.
In conclusion, our stay at the Pantheon Loft was a five-star experience, which we highly recommend to anyone wishing to experience Rome in its splendor, pampered by a top-level welcome. Mi è piaciuto tutto
- Laurel (8/5): Cute place near the Pantheon - The two bedrooms and two bathrooms were great for two friends, plus having a nespresso machine is always fantastic. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are upstairs in the loft, with one overlooking the courtyard. While the space can fit more than two couples/two friends with the extra pullout couch and the fold out twin, it was a bit crowded with three friends in 3 different beds. Plus, I'm pretty sure the couch hasn't been opened to be used in quite a while.
While not a problem, there is also only one bedroom that has a door, with the other having a curtain to separate it from the main space.
- Hegde (10/5): It was a very good stay - Location was amazing
- Frederick (9/5): Superb - Great location easy to find, located at the heart of Roma. Superb little surprising find, so much space. Great setup with all you need for a stay. Could benefit from a guest manual, listing what is in property (i.e. dishwasher, washing machine, etc).
- Arianna (6/5): Pleasant -
- Liana (7/5): Clean apartment in a great location, good for a short stay. - The location was perfect, close to Pantheon and many other “must visit” attractions of Rome, close to the bus station. The host was easy to communicate with, apartment was clean. We stayed 6 nights. The apartment is on the ground floor of a tall building, with almost no access to fresh air and sunlight. The only window opens to patio from one of the toilets. This made the air in the apartment a bit stinky, although the apartment was clean. Also, the spiral stairs to the bedrooms and toilets in the aprt may be inconvenient for elder people or someone with extra weight.
