Guest Reviews
- Jessica (1/5): I would never stay here again. - The couch is filthy with holes and burn marks. This is completely unacceptable and should have been replaced as it was in such poor condition we couldn’t sit on it.
- Vildan (6/5): - Konumu Yataklarin ve nevresimlerin kirli olmasını
- Anita (10/5): - The location
- Vatanen (9/5): -
- Cherona (8/5): Couldn’t fault the location! Walkable all over Rome and surrounded by beautiful restaurants and small supermarkets - Location, excellent security and plenty of space for family of five
- Katherine (6/5): Great location, great hosts, spacious apartment.. - The location was excellent close to some fantastic restaurants and just a 30-minute walk to the Vatican. The apartment itself was incredibly spacious, with plenty of wardrobe space, which was a nice bonus.
You can tell the host has really tried with this place.
The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the neighborhood had a really friendly, welcoming vibe.
The host was fantastic to deal with, and a member of her staff was also incredibly kind and helpful. Overall, the combination of the great location, generous apartment size, and lovely hospitality made us initially excited tor our stay. Unfortunately, our stay wasn’t quite what we had hoped for. The accommodation didn’t feel as clean or well maintained as expected. The furniture was quite dated, and the sofa had noticeable stains, partially covered by ill-fitting slipcovers. There was visible mould in both the shower and toilet areas, and the shower water would turn cold after about five minutes, which made it difficult to use comfortably.
We also noticed a persistent bad smell coming from the bathroom drain, possibly due to a blockage, and the bathroom door had visible marks and fingerprints. The fridge had an unpleasant odor that affected our food, leading us to discard it despite only staying for two nights. Lastly, the TV in the main bedroom wasn’t working this might just be an issue with the batteries, but we didn’t get a chance to troubleshoot it.
With some attention to cleanliness and maintenance, this place could be much more comfortable for future guests.
- Sally (6/5): Decent drop your stuff and explore accommodation. - It had a fantastic lift. The location is good if you want a more local experience. Some lovely places to get food. Was easy to walk to the attractions over the river. It was a bit noisy at night. The sofa wasn’t the comfiest, was dirty and is in a weird part of the flat - you sort of sit looking at nothing but the fridge freezer.
- Douglas (5/5): Passable - The physicl location was good and easy walking distance many of the tourist attractions. Many of the appartment facilities either did not work or needed replacement. These included the air conditioner, the washing machine, the toilet, the bed, the sofa, the fridge door handle, etc, etc, etc.
- Graziella (9/5): Superb - Lovely apartment, comfortable for our needs. Close to local restaurants and grocery shops
- Stephen (5/5): Passable - very small bathroom and very basic
- Caterina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rudolf (9/5): Very pleasant and nice location ! Apartment is conformable. - Great location, ACs worked well, very responsive hosts. Hot water ran out after several people showered but we were six.
- Irina (7/5): Good -
- Patricia (8/5): Very good -
- Martha (9/5): Superb -
- Marielle (9/5): Superb -
- Marko (6/5): Pleasant - The location was amazing.
- Becca (8/5): Very good -
- Joel (7/5): Great location, can’t be beat. Needs a little work. - Location is fantastic, the Sicilian Bar next door is marvelous, the market has fresh produce, their are two stores within 50 meters. Two bedrooms worked well. Very nice to have sugar and basics there to cook with. Beds were firm and had reasonable sheets. The apartment is quiet considering the location. We stayed for eight nights. We needed two sets of towels. Shower is very small, turning around in shower it easy to hit the knob and turn off, if you are a large person you could have problem. There is dirt in the corners of the shower and grit along the edges. The sofa bed did not have sheets and even though we’re requested we’re never supplied. Doors were faulty in one bedroom and needed maintenance. Sofa couch was filled with hair and stains although covered with a grey sheet was dirty. The extra comforter supplied for the sofa bed was dirty and had an unpleasant smell.
- Oliver (6/5): Great location, but also expect the noise - Great location, everything you need is just around the corner. Great and supportive host If you book this accommodation, please be aware that it’s quite loud all day long.
The beds were very uncomfortable, unfortunately
- Jonathan (10/5): Would stay here again. - Location is great, right in the heart of Trestevere with lots of restaurants near by. Old building with inside updated apartment. Communication with host was great.
- Onge (10/5): Loved our little home in Rome - Location was incredible Nothing!
- Anonymous (6/5): Pleasant -
- Julie (4/5): Disappointing -
- Jaran (9/5): Perfect apartment in the heart of Trastevere! - Great apartment in the heart of Trastevere. Located right off the main square with tons of great restaurants steps away. Busy area outside, but quiet inside of the apartment.
- Rommelluna (10/5): The true heart of Trastevere (and best place to stay when in Rome!) - You have to visit Trastevere to understand why this is the best place to stay in Rome. The people make the place here; so calm in the morning with its residents gathering for a quick café and pastry on their way somewhere, then, when the sun starts to go down, the buzzing of life without becoming the obnoxious loudness of big cities. Every day is like the continuation of the party that started the day before. And this apartment is right on the edge of this - not in the middle of it, so you get a bit more quietness if you need to gather your strength for the next day, but close enough to hear the murmur of the party that invites you to get out of bed and join it.
Oh, and the apartment is superb! Not often do pictures match reality, but this time it does. Everything is super clean and well-maintained. The stove is modern, the bathroom is comfortable, and the rooms are roomy. With an AC unit in each of the two bedrooms and one in the living room, you won't suffer the heat. And the human touch! Claudia was lovely from the beginning through WhatsApp and even more so when we met her at the apartment. We had a question the following day (about how to operate the stove) and she replied immediately with precise and detailed instructions. Perfect stay and for sure we will repeat when we return to Rome.
P.S.
You have a number of restaurants and cafes around the building, but the one next door was our daily cafe and pastry provider, and there are not one but two grocery stores around the corner. Stay here if you visit Rome! We liked everything!
- Aparecido (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fernando (9/5): Neighborhood life in the heart of Trastevere - We loved staying in this apartment. Piazza San Cosimato is a lovely place, with a nice market in the mornings, playground that my kids enjoyed a lot, small shops and we even had a free night cinema. We lived before in Trastevere and this was a great way to bring back many good memories. We really recommend it! Nothing. As a tiny detail some hangers for the towels in the bathroom could be helpful but again is a very small detail.
- Beth (7/5): Good - Convenient. Friendly host. Clean bedding and towels. Clean fridge. Nice touches of washing up liquid, sponge, shower gel etc. Loads of wardrobe storage. First floor so not too many stairs after a long day doing tourist stuff! Good local supermarkets for provisions. A bit of TLC would just lift it a notch - get matching glasses (only 1 wine glass), scatter cushions in the lounge, a tea towel needed, get rid of the dead plant! Just a few bits would add a bit more luxury. Few bits of maintenance - sticky bedroom (2) door and master bed a bit squeaky! Noisy early morning glass recycling collection in the street but there’s nothing the host can do about this!! All that said we would go back!
- Weiss (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (8/5): very good - 2 bedrooms. spacious
- Freddy (6/5): Pleasant -
- David (5/5): Good location but cleanliness not as expected. Pictures posted to advertise are deceiving. - The location of the apartment was good. A lively area within easy reach of a bus to the heart of Rome. We were allowed to drop our luggage off on arrival which was much appreciated. The apartment was very basic and only superficially clean. There were 4 of us staying and only 3 mugs. No toaster or kettle. The electric constantly kept going off / tripping and the air conditioning units are inadequate. The pictures advertised do not represent the reality. I was very disappointed.
