They told me check in w - The location The host could not be contacted - the number on the property is fake! It was off the whole time. They told me check in was at 1.30pm and I only ended up getting the codes past 3pm! And that was after persistently messaging the property (with late/no replies whatsoever). There is no option for an early check in and the host is simply unavailable to reach! There was no flat iron in the whole property which should be a basic amenity! Overall stay was not great at all due to lack of communication and difficulty getting into the property (even after paying in full). Might I add that the room was NOT cleaned at all during my one-week long stay! Even after putting the sign outside the door. Very disappointing stay!

• Ska84 (7/5): - stanze (ho soggiornato in due differenti) molto ampie. letto comodo. la seconda stanza risultava anche ben pulita e organizzata. lo staff è cortese e disponibile a risolvere eventuali problematiche e necessità. la prima camera assegnatami presentava aria condizionata non funzionante (avendo soggiornato a inizio agosto è stato un problema) e il bagno si presentava molto sporco. segnalata la problematica al gestore, ha prontamente effettuato un cambio stanza.

• Donato (2/5): Trasandato sporco - la posizione tra la stazione e la movida di trastevere vicino anche alla fermata tram ed autobus il portiere dello stabile balcone con sedia inguardabil tra ruggine ringhiera sedia plastica con cuscino sporco sporo pavimento extra trasandato e sporto da parecchio tempo la foto non rende. copriletto pieno di macchie servizzi igienici in locale discutibile e con ragni ed insetti poi il water con fascia igienizzato ma sporco?!? tirare l'acqua?? capelli ovunque casettiera non si apre perchè sbatte sul battitapeto sotto il letto non si pulisce da anni il portone con chiave digitale non fuziona

• rossella (1/5): Inferno di fuoco - Praticamente nulla Se esistesse una definizione peggiore di orribile la userei. Arrivo a Roma in una giornata infuocata. Stanza al settimo piano di un palazzone malmesso con un ascensore inquietante ma questo poco male. Appena apro la porta della mia stanza mi investe una cappa di calore terrificante. Scrivo all' host per chiedere come si accende il climatizzatore anche se il ventilatore sul comodino mi metteva ansia. Ho dovuto accendere anche quello perché davvero non si respirava. L'host mi dice come accendere il clima e mi accorgo che di fatto è acceso ma non funziona. Di qui inizia l'incubo. Provo a farmi una doccia per riprendere fiato,ma la rosa della doccia era rotta e l'acqua gelata ( il che poco male viste le circostanze). La doccia è in mezzo alla stanza a due passi dal letto praticamente. Non c'è traccia di frigo per un sorso di acqua fresca. L'host mi dice che ha chiamato il tecnico per il clima,poi per fare prima mi chiede di attivarmi io per un reset centrale dell' impianto che si trovava sotto una montagna di asciugamani. Nulla si sblocca.Dico all' host di trovare una soluzione perché io il giorno dopo dovevo lavorare e non potevo certo stare in quel forno L'host sparisce per più di un ora abbandonandomi al mio destino in quell'inferno di calore.Scappo. Un amico mi dà ospitalità e finora nemmeno booking ha dato riscontro alla mia richiesta di rimborso. Praticamente soldi buttati ed esperienza terrificante. Scappate da questa struttura.

• Vincenzo (6/5): Adatto per brevi soggiorni, se lo si usa solamente per dormire. - La procedura di checkin, una volta compresa, è comoda, richiede però un pochino di capacità di uso del computer. La posizione è ottima, abbastanza silenziosa sebbene in una zona vitale. La cucina comune, proprio di fronte alla stanza, emana spesso odori pesanti di cottura (ad esempio fritto) ce si sentono anche nella camera. Il palazzo in cui si trova l'appartamento è un po' lasciato andare, l'ascensore non suggerisce grande fiducia. Niente tapparelle, la finestra della stanza dava direttamente sul balcone di altri ospiti, quindi se fumavano o parlavano con la finestra aperta era come averli in camera.
• Jaana (7/5): All right anyway - Comfortable bed. Easy to communicate with host. Close to tram stop so we took us easily to Trastevere gor dinner and to other places. When we arrived in the middle of the nigt, we did not know what floor we must go, there was no information that the flat was on the 7th floor. We had just an app to open the door of the house but did not find the flat! So we just rang a random doorbell of somebody and they told us where is the flat. Dear host you must put a clear sign where the flat is! Or send us a mail before we get mad searching the flat in the middle of the night!! Other problem: TV did not have more than 1 channel. In Booking they say that we will have a flat screen tv and cooffe machine but that was not true. We told the host about that directly when we arrived but they could not solve the problem during our stay. Also Coffee maker was missing. We told the host also this but got no reaction.
• Austėja (5/5): Not worth it - Nice and quick customer service. Toilet was clogged when we just arrived, had to sleep in another room and move back the next day. All of the days sink was also clogged, shower in the middle of the room, no key, only automatic one, which was as struggle.

• Thomas (7/5): Good - The staff were most friendly and helpful. We appreciate their hospitality. However, the room was very hot as the air con did not cool and it received full sun. The lock system is also annoying. 20 min walk to trastevere proper so decent location.
• Ya-chu (6/5): Only for ppl going to the airport early - The shower place is in the room……. With a curtain separating the specs which is very strange. The shower holder is not working. The towels smell like vinegar. The sound proofing is bad. My room was at the first one. I can hear everyone enters the apartment. You will share the apartment with some other people. I didn’t know this. The location is convenient by public transportation. I’d say if you have an early flight to catch. It’s okay to stay over the night.
• Erol (2/5): Very poor - WORST APARTAMENT I EVER BEEN. The host was not available when we arrived and didnt gave us the full instructions. We had to search for another apartment in the midle of the night because we were enabled to get in, bacause the host didn't answer the phone. Nobody speaks English!! The apartment is not clean at all.

• Genesis (5/5): Passable - Good location, comfy bed, lift Check-in too labour intensive, the shower was inside the room with no separation so there was a lot of humidity and black mold in the shower. I could hear a lot from other rooms.

• Daniel (8/5): Had a lovely time in Rome and would stay here again as it's reasonably priced. - Location was central and easy bus ride into centre or 20min walk. Bed firm which I like. Room cleaned everyday. Shower and bathroom good. Shared Kitchen with fridge and kettle was good to have. Had a pleasant stay in Rome. Not clear which floor apartment was on and how to use digital key when arrived, it took some working out. It would have been nice to be greeted by the host. Everything else was fine.
• Federico (10/5): Exceptional - Good location, spacious room, modern and clean, I wasn't expecting it to be so nice. If you don't have mobile data you cannot enter the house, so it might be a problem if you run out of battery, but other than that, it was perfect
• Nina (7/5): Good - The location of the apartment is really great, we could walk everywhere. We liked this part of the town. The train station to the airport is nearby. The room (Porta Portese) had everything we needed for a short stay. The bed was comfortable. The self-check-in and unlocking of the doors via mobile device worked fine when following instructions. When we arrived we did not have information on which floor the apartment was on, so we spent some time checking out floor after floor (It is on the 7th floor if this helps anyone). We had an issue with the toilet flush breaking down on the first evening, but the owner was responsive and managed to get the plumber to fix it the next day, The walls of the building are thin, so you can hear traffic nonstop and unfortunately also inconsiderate next-door neighbors.

• Dimitris (8/5): Very good - The place is clean and tidy. The room spacious and the two women cleaning the rooms were very friendly. Since we traveled there end of September, it was a bit cold but there was no available blanket with a proper cover. Also in the kitchen area there were no plates and knives, which make it a bit complicated to have breakfast.

• Maria (7/5): Good - The apartment was clean and comfortable. The personnel was nice, I was able to leave my luggage before the check-in time which was really appreciated. The location is good, not in the city centre but a lot of buses around the corner. The digital key worked fine for me but some of the other guests were having issues with it. They'd ring the bell of the whole apartment hysterically until someone opened the door for them. It was really annoying. Maybe giving guests the option between a physical and a digital key would be better. The shower is in the middle of the room, not the best option if you are traveling with a friend and you want some privacy.
• Benjamints (5/5): Hard to find, impossible to contact. - Value for money, big clean room in a handy (not pretty) location. Walking distance to the Trastevere station. However all booking.com info is automated. There is no way to message the host. It was a huge issue not to be able to contact anyone. The name is not on the building. The floor number are not listed anywhere in the communications. I just started knocking on random peoples apartments, this was the only way to find it. I wanted to use the bag storage (as advertised), but the smart lock system would have locked me out. If there is a wifi or phone issue you're sleeping on the street. Oh, and no hot water, could be a problem in winter!

• Ekaterina (2/5): Unexpectedly dirty room - The host was trying to payback our payment but failed, and we don’t know why that happened. Every canceled payment was returned easily in other places. When we came our place was very dirty after previous customers. We tried to contact our host almost an hour and couldn’t get him. So we’ve decided to book another place and luckily there were some nearby. But when we booked new place, the host contact us and didn’t believe at first time that the room was dirty. When he figured it out he asked us to wait until cleaning women will come and clean. Taking in consideration that we were after the long flight and very hot weather, we didn’t wanted to wait. We left and never got our money back. Sad story, but everything can happen. Maybe it’s not host’s fault, but we were very tired.

A big advantage for everything we were looking for, they came out to meet, leaving the luggage before and after leaving means a lot.
• Denis (10/5): Exceptional - 1) good location 2) responsive and sensitive staff 3) very clean, no dust or dirt anywhere. 4) no carpets, so suitable for allergy sufferers 5) working air conditioner 6) in the kitchen in the common area there is a kettle, coffee pot, stove (but no utensils for cooking) At the beginning I was given a very small room with a small window onto the balcony of another room, where people were constantly smoking. As far as I know, there is only one such room and it is for one guest, quite suitable for spending the night, but it is impossible to live there for a whole week. But they agreed to kindly give me another room. Therefore, I can only recommend this hotel, and if I go to Rome again, next time I will definitely stay here if there are rooms available.

• Yuliya (3/5): Poor - Comfortable location, beds were also quite comfortable. Many things went wrong. There was no hot water most of the time during our stay when it was +30 outside. At some point the owner stopped responding on our calls. The door lock wasn't working properly. Not a single hanger nor shelf in the bathroom to put your stuff on or to hang the towels.

• Marta (6/5): Good room, but terrible shower - The room was pretty big, as we paid for a quadruple room but we were only two. The bed was comfortable and we did not hear anything from the other rooms. It is a little bit far from the city center but there is a bus and a tram line very close, so we didn't have any problem with the transport. It was very difficult to use the shower. On the first day I had to shower with freezing cold water, and the other days we managed to get scalding hot water for a few minutes after leaving the shower on for more than 5 minutes! I think this is a big problem, as when I am on holiday I mainly use the apartment to sleep and shower. The maintenance of the common space could be a little bit better, and we missed a microwave. The lift in the building felt old and unsafe, but we didn't have any problems.
• Chi (6/5): Is just a place to sleep. Nothing much to expect. - The location is not far from train station and can easily reach from airport. There is bus station in front of the property and can reach most places easily. There are restaurant and cafe nearby so no issue for food. Is kinda hot and air ventilation is poor. The access to the property is using visual so it kinda troublesome for those who does not have the mobile data.
• Soledad (6/5): It is a sophisticated apartment, but it needs better customer service - The place was very clean in general, they have a coffee machine, a little fridge, an electric oven, a printer in case you need some photocopies in the common area. Unfortunately, the day that I arrived there was no AC, it was really hot and I could barely sleep. I had to sleep with the window open, and it was really noisy outside and made no difference in the room temperature. The second day, I asked for a fan, and thanks to that, I could rest. Only on the third day did the technicians come to fix the problem. What I didn't like and I felt annoyed was that I let the person on the whatssap know about the problem with AC and he or she didn't listen. If it wouldn't have been for the owner that casually arrived on the first day and called for the issue to be solved, I'm sure the AC wouldn't have worked at all. The only negative thing is that there is nobody in person to whom you can reach in case an issue.
• Svechkaryova (10/5): Will definitely recommend and stay again! - Excellent location: 5 min to Rome Trastevere train station, tram stop right next to the building, too many cafes, bars and shops nearby, you can enjoy 30 min walk to the historical city center). Accommodation: quite and safe area, much more closer to Italian atmosphere than in the city center; Room very clean and comfortable, complimentary tea and coffe, WiFi. Everyday housekeeping service (nice Spanish speaking lady makes everything perfectly)

• Theodor (1/5): One of the worst places to stay in Rome - The location is nice and there is a train and bus station close by. Would only recommend this place to someone I hate or want to punish - this is one of the worst places I've stayed in and I would never ever book it again. The place uses some ridiculous smart lock system that is not user friendly and does not work as intended. You want to open your door? Good luck with that, it will not happen on the first 50 tries or so. What is even worse is the service provided by the host. When me and my partner arrived someone else had moved in the room we have paid for and the host was almost impossible to contact. What makes it even worse is that the rooms itself are ridiculous, uncomfortable. The bathroom was falling apart. And for some reason someone went into the rooms while we were not present every single day and tidied them up and made the bed despite us not wanting such service included - thankfully no personal belongings of us were missing although with a place this shady I wouldn't put it past them doing something fishy.
